Hole-drilling method is one of the most convenient methods for engineering residual stress measurement. Combined with moiré interferometry to obtain the relaxed whole-field displacement data, hole-drilling technique can be used to solve non-uniform residual stress problems, both in-depth and in-plane. In this paper, the theory of moiré interferometry and incremental hole-drilling (MIIHD) for non-uniform residual stress measurement is introduced. Three dimensional finite element model is constructed by ABAQUS to obtain the coefficients for the residual stress calculation. An experimental system including real-time measurement, automatic data processing and residual stresses calculation is established. Two applications for non-uniform in-depth residual stress of surface nanocrystalline material and non-uniform in-plane residual stress of friction stir welding are presented. Experimental results show that MIIHD is effective for both non-uniform in-depth and in-plane residual stress measurements. The project supported by the FRAMATOME ANP  相似文献

Sub-10 nm wide graphene nanoribbon field-effect transistors (GNRFETs) are studied systematically. All sub-10 nm GNRs afforded semiconducting FETs without exception, with Ion/Ioff ratio up to 10(6) and on-state current density as high as approximately 2000 microA/microm. We estimated carrier mobility approximately 200 cm2/V s and scattering mean free path approximately 10 nm in sub-10 nm GNRs. Scattering mechanisms by edges, acoustic phonon, and defects are discussed. The sub-10 nm GNRFETs are comparable to small diameter (d< or = approximately 1.2 nm) carbon nanotube FETs with Pd contacts in on-state current density and Ion/Ioff ratio, but have the advantage of producing all-semiconducting devices.  相似文献

We have demonstrated a compact and an efficient passively Q-switched microchip Nd:YVO4 laser by using a composite semiconductor absorber as well as an output coupler. The composite semiconductor absorber was composed of an LT (low-temperature grown) In0.25Ga0.75As absorber and a pure GaAs absorber. To our knowledge, it was the first demonstration of the special absorber for Q-switching operation of microchip lasers. Laser pulses with durations of 1.1 ns were generated with a 350 μm thick laser crystal and the repetition rate of the pulses was as high as 4.6 MHz. The average output power was 120 mW at the pump power of 700 mW. Pulse duration can be varied from 1.1 to 15.7 ns by changing the cavity length from 0.45 to 5 mm. Pulses with duration of 1.67 and 2.41 ns were also obtained with a 0.7 mm thick laser crystal and a 1 mm thick laser crystal, respectively.  相似文献

Objective

The surface of biomaterials plays a critical role in determining bioactivity. The aim of this study was to evaluate the cell adhesion and proliferation of ADSCs on the surface of biomaterial which is modified with fibronectin or collagen.

Materials and methods

Adipose-derived stromal cells (ADSCs) were obtained from SD rats, expanded in culture, and seeded onto scaffold surface-modified with fibronectin or collagen. To characterize cellular attachment, cells were incubated on scaffold for 1 and 2 h and then counted the cells attached onto the scaffold. The MTT assay was chosen to evaluate the proliferation at days 1, 4, 7 and 14. After 7 d of culture, scanning electron microscope was chosen to observe cell morphology and attachment of ADSCs on the scaffolds.

Results

Attachment at 1 and 2 h of cells on scaffold modified with fibronectin was significantly greater than in control, but not with collagen. The MTT assay revealed that ADSCs proliferation tendency was nearly parallel to that in control. The scanning electron microscope (SEM) showed that ADSCs in experiment expanded thoroughly and excreted much extracellular materials.

Conclusions

Surface modification with fibronectin or collagen can enhance the attachment of cultured ADSCs on the scaffold, but it had not evident effect to proliferation.  相似文献

A simple but effective scheme to generate dark hollow beams is proposed by use of phase-only filtering and optical Fourier transform. A Gaussian beam of fundamental mode is modulated by a pre-designed phase mask, which is a piecewise modification of an axicon lens, and followed by a Fourier transform to generate an ideal dark hollow beam at the focal plane. This method has an advantage that the total energy of the beam is conserved under paraxial approximation. Numerical calculations are provided to show the validity of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

We propose a feasible scheme to create macroscopically entangled atom-photon pairs by preparing an input optical superposition state. Several interesting non-classical quantum statistical effects like the atomic squeezed effects are clearly demonstrated. The making and manipulation of entangled atom-photon pairs are useful for, e.g., high-precision interferometry and quantum information science.  相似文献

We have studied excess electron filling rule in the coupled multiple nanocrystal quantum-dot systems, i.e. quantum chain and quantum pattern, by the unrestricted Hartree–Fock–Roothaan method. Assuming each quantum dot of quantum pattern to be confined in a three-dimensional spherical potential well of finite depth, we have studied the intradot and interdot electron Coulomb and exchange interactions. By varying the center distance d between the coupled quantum dots, the transition from the strong- to weak-coupling situation is realized. For the systems in question, our results show that, with the filling of excess electrons into the quantum pattern, the corresponding chemical potentials form quasi-band structure, which is similar to the energy-band structure of crystal material. In each chemical-potential band of quantum pattern, the number of chemical-potential curves is equal to the number of quantum dots, and the distributions of them depend strongly on the quantum-dot arrangement structure of quantum pattern.  相似文献
