This paper describes a convenient method for the extraction and detection of eight anti-ulcer drugs simultaneously in horse urine, a relatively complex and viscous matrix, using a single-step liquid-liquid extraction followed by high-performance liquid chromatography – mass spectrometry (LC-MS). Anti-ulcer drugs were isolated from horse urine by salting out and liquid-liquid extraction. Detection of these drugs at concentrations below 1 ng mL?1 could be achieved using LC-MS-MS in the positive atmospheric pressure chemical ionisation (APCI) mode. The above analysis was also extended to elimination studies of horses administered with ranitidine and omeprazole. The urinary elimination data of these two drugs suggest that ranitidine was eliminated from horse urine at a much slower rate than omeprazole. In addition, three ranitidine metabolites and six omeprazole metabolites were identified for the first time in equine urine samples.  相似文献

The role of hydrogen bonding in the chemistry of transition‐metal complexes remains a topic of intense scientific and technological interest. Poly(acrylo‐amidino diethylenediamine) was synthesized to study the effects of hydrogen bonding on complexes at different pHs. The polymer was synthesized through the coupling of diethylene triamine with polyacrylonitrile fiber in the presence of AlCl3 · 6H2O addition. The adsorption capacity of this polymer was 11.4 mequiv/g. The ions used for the adsorption test were CrO, PO, Cu2+, Ni2+, Fe2+, and Ag+. All experiments were confirmed with Fourier transform infrared. In the study of anion adsorption, at low pHs, only ionic bonds existed, whereas at high pHs, no bonds existed. However, in the middle pH region, both ionic bonds and hydrogen bonds formed between poly(acrylo‐amidino diethylenediamine) and the chromate ion or phosphate ion. When poly(acrylo‐amidino diethylenediamine) and metal ions (Cu2+, Ni2+, Fe2+, and Ag+) formed complexes, a hydrogen‐bonding effect was not observed with Fourier transform infrared. The quantity of metal ions adsorbed onto poly(acrylo‐amidino diethylenediamine) followed the order Ag+ > Cu2+ > Fe2+ > Ni2+. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 5-Aminolevulinic acid and its esterified analogues have been under much investigation to enhance the endogenous production of protoporphyrin IX (PpIX) in tumor cells. However, in this work, we studied the in vitro and in vivo efficacy of exogenously administered PpIX and its esterified analogue, PpIX dimethyl ester (PME), in poorly differentiated human nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC/CNE-2) as a photodynamic diagnostic (PDD) agent. NPC/CNE-2 at its earliest time, 1 h after incubation with PME in in vitro studies, has exhibited 64% (P <0.01) higher tumor to normal cell (T/N) fluorescence ratio than with PpIX. In an in vivo mouse xenograft model, comparable photosensitizer concentration in tumor after intravenous administration was observed at 1-3 h time points, but at 9 h, PME had 31% (P=0.05) greater concentration in tumor compared with PpIX. In addition, by constituting PME and PpIX in different topical gel composites, of which, PME gel composition of 8:2 Plasdone and Gantrez resulted in the highest T/N ratio at 6 h after application (34%; P <0.05) in comparison with other gel composites. Evaluation of PME and PpIX constituted in the delivery vehicles investigated showed comparable selectivity for tumor at 1-3 h, thus neither photosensitizer is more efficient than the other for PDD at the early time points; however, beyond 6 h, PME had higher selectivity for tumor compared with PpIX. Thus, further investigation is warranted to improve the drug delivery vehicle for greater tumor selectivity at a shorter incubation time.  相似文献

Photolysis of the title compounds in acidic aqueous solution results in "activation" of the distal m-methyl group, resulting in deuterium exchange (Phi approximately 0.1) when D(2)O is used. The reaction is not observed in neutral aqueous solution or in deuterated organic solvents such as CD(3)CN. A series of novel bis-pyrazole/pyridine complexes, [Zn(2)(HL(1))(2)(μ(2)-SO(4))](2)·EtOH·H(2)O (1), [Co(2)(HL(1))(2)(μ(2)-SO(4))](2)·2DMF·6H(2)O (2), [Zn(4)(HL(1))(4)(μ(4)-SO(4))][OH](2) (3), [Zn(2)(HL(2))(2)(μ(2)-SO(4))]·2H(2)O (4), [Zn(H(2)L(2))(H(2)O)(2)](SO(4))·0.87H(2)O (5) (H(2)L(1) = 2,6-di-(5-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine, H(2)L(2) = 2,6-di-(5-methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine), were synthesized hydrothermally from the self-assembly of Zn(II) or Co(II) with different types of bipyrazolyl/pyridine derivative ligands. All the complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and UV-vis spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Structural analyses revealed that metal atoms (Zn and Co) in complexes 1-5 are five-coordination modes, forming slightly distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometries. In complexes 1-3, H(2)L(1) ligand connected the two metal centers via the tetradentate fashion, and the same form of connection was found in complex 4 with H(2)L(2) ligand. While in complex 5, H(2)L(2) only connected with one metal center via the tridentate fashion, which was different from those in complexes 1-4. Additionally, there are abundant hydrogen bonding interactions in complexes 1-4. Interestingly, for hydrogen bonding connecting fashions being different, the molecules for the complexes 1 and 4 are held together by the hydrogen bond to form a 1D supramolecular structure, whereas complexes 2 and 3 are a hydrogen bonded dimer. In addition, quantum chemical calculations for 1, 3, and 4, thermal behaviors and photoluminescent properties for 1 and 3-5 were performed and discussed in detail. In the mean time, we found that these complexes had potential catalytic activity for the oxidation reaction of cyclohexane.  相似文献

A new anthracene-based X-shaped conjugated molecule, HBTATHT, was synthesized. Thin film transistors based on unannealed HBTATHT showed a carrier mobility of 0.15 cm(2) V(-1) s(-1) (I(on/off) = 7.9 × 10(6)). Further, a solution processed solar cell made of HBTATHT exhibited promising power conversion efficiencies of 4.84% and 4.70% with PC(61)BM (1?:?0.8 wt ratio) and PC(71)BM (1?:?0.6 wt ratio), respectively.  相似文献

The recently reported KSi-KSiH(3) system can store 4.3 wt% of hydrogen reversibly with slow kinetics of several hours for complete absorption at 373 K and complete desorption at 473 K. From the kinetics measured at different temperatures, the Arrhenius plots give activation energies (E(a)) of 56.0 ± 5.7 kJ mol(-1) and 121 ± 17 kJ mol(-1) for the absorption and desorption processes, respectively. Ball-milling with 10 wt% of carbon strongly improves the kinetics of the system, i.e. specifically the initial rate of absorption becomes about one order of magnitude faster than that of pristine KSi. However, this fast absorption causes a disproportionation into KH and K(8)Si(46), instead of forming the KSiH(3) hydride from a slow absorption. This disproportionation, due to the formation of stable KH, leads to a total loss of reversibility. In a similar situation, when the pristine Zintl NaSi phase absorbs hydrogen, it likewise disproportionates into NaH and Na(8)Si(46), indicating a very poorly reversible reaction.  相似文献

Ceria (CeO(2) ) hollow fibers with Pt nanoparticles (Pt?NPs) embedded in their inner surfaces were prepared by sequentially depositing Pt?NPs and CeO(2) sheaths on electrospun fibers of polystyrene, followed by calcination in air at 400?°C. Despite a relatively low Pt loading in this system, the turnover frequency for CO oxidation was 2-3 orders of magnitude higher than those of other systems, and the reactivity was also stable up to 700?°C.  相似文献

The effect of ultrahigh molecular weight polyacrylonitrile (UHMWPAN) on the shear and extensional rheological behavior of PAN solutions were studied. The PAN solutions were prepared by dissolving medium molecular weight polyacrylonitrile in dilute UHMWPAN/dimethyl sulfoxide solutions. The results of shear rheological measurements indicated that the existence of UHMWPAN reduced the shear-thinning but increased the characteristic relaxation time and the elasticity of PAN solutions. Moreover, the PAN solutions containing UHMWPAN exhibited much more evident strain-hardening behavior than the solution without UHMWPAN. It was found from the results of extensional rheological measurements that the strain hardening and elasticity of PAN solutions increased greatly with the increase of molecular weight or content of UHMWPAN in the solutions. PAN solutions containing a small amount of UHMWPAN have better drawability and favor the increase of jet stretch ratio in dry-jet wet spinning of PAN precursor fibers.  相似文献
