Liquid phase oxidation of p-chlorotoluene to p-chlorobenzaldehyde over cobalt-doped mesoporous titania with a crystalline framework

Cobalt-doped mesoporous titania with a crystalline framework synthesized by surfactant templating method presented highly selective (99%) and reasonable conversion rate (49%) of catalytic oxidation of para-chlorotoluene to para-chlorobenzaldehyde in acetic acid using aqueous hydrogen peroxide as oxidant for the first time. Recycling of the catalyst indicates that the catalyst can be used a number of times without losing its activity to a greater extent. By contrast, cobalt-doped mesoporous titania without a crystalline structure and cobalt doped the commercial titania, Degussa P25 prepared by impregnation method with the similar concentration of cobalt were found inactive. The effects of catalyst concentration, reaction time, reaction temperature, and solvents on the performance of the catalyst were also investigated.     

高固体分羟基丙烯酸树脂的合成

以过氧化二苯甲酰（BPO）／过氧化二异丙苯（DCP）（质量比为2：3）为复合引发剂，二甲苯为溶剂，选用适量含羟基单体和分子量调节剂，以减缓树脂合成聚合反应中的自动加速现象，合成了分子量为3000-4000，多分散性指数d〈2的高固体分羟基丙烯酸树脂．该树脂与缩二脲多异氰酸酯（HDI）的配漆实验证明，所得漆膜鲜映性好、丰满度高、色泽好、雾影值低、综合性能较好．     

Thermal desorption of interacting molecules from mixed adlayers

A Monte Carlo simulation method is used to study thermal desorption of gas molecules from mixed adlayers containing two species. The effects of lateral interactions among adatoms and initial surface coverage on the desorption spectra are examined. It is shown that attractive lateral interactions lead to sharper peaks and that desorption occurs at high temperatures, whereas repulsive interactions lead to multiple peak spectra. It is found that interactions between unlike molecules affect the spectra for species with lower desorption energy only, and that the two species desorb together only in certain cases. Lateral interactions also affect the desorption kinetics significantly and very different behavior for the two species may be obtained.     

The promoting role of silver on the supported silver salt of dodecatungstosiliticic acid in the methanol-to-hydrocarbon conversion

The conversion of methanol into light olefins has been studied using the silver salt of dodecatungstosilicic acid supported on serosil. Special attention has been paid to the process of the acid sites formation during the initial reaction period and to the role of hydrogen. The significantly higher activity and stability of the supported silver salt compared with the supported free heteropoly acid is explained by a controlled formation process of acidic sites and their additional generation from hydrogen on the metallic silver surface.     

一致Lipschitz映射的遍历定理及其遍历分解

设(X,d)是一个可分的度量空间,Cu(X,d)是由全体一致连续函数所组成的C(X,d)的子空间,T是定义在X上的一致Lipschitz映射,那么对f∈Cu(X),1/n n∑k=1 Uk If在Cu(X)上收敛.从这个基本结果出发,利用Cu(X,d)的共扼空间的表示定理,得到了相空间的Yosida型遍历分解;利用空间的嵌入技术证明了非一致Lipschitz映射的大数法则.     

A note on balance vertices in trees

The notion of balanced bipartitions of the vertices in a tree T was introduced and studied by Reid (Networks 34 (1999) 264). Reid proved that the set of balance vertices of a tree T consists of a single vertex or two adjacent vertices. In this note, we give a simple proof of that result.     

Compact, reliable asymmetric optical configuration for cost-effective fabrication of multiplex dot matrix hologram in anti-counterfeiting applications

This study presents a compact optical configuration that can generate a multiplex dot-matrix hologram with complex interlaced images for anti-counterfeiting applications on valuable paper. Varying the orientation of the interference plane can enable the multiplex hologram to be recorded without changing the interference angle of two laser beams. With its simple asymmetric optical setup, a multiplex hologram with many interlaced images can be efficiently fabricated, increasing the cost of imitation. Experimental details of the asymmetric optical setup are also described.     

Precise measurement of magnetic moment of short-lived β-emitting nuclei12B ( I π=1+, T 1/2=20.18 ms)

The spin polarized β-emitting nuclei¹²B (I ^π=1⁺,T _1/2=20.18 ms) were produced by the nuclear reaction¹¹B(d, p)¹²B and by the selection technique of the incident deuteron energy and the¹²B recoil angle following the nuclear reaction. The nuclear magnetic moment of the short-lived nuclei¹²B was measured by β-NMR with the β-NMR and β-NQR setup established for the first time in China. The nuclear magnetic moment of¹²B was determined to be μ=0.99993±0.00048 nm org=0.99993±0.00048 after the precise correction of the Knight shift.
