The excitation spectrum in an [Fe/Cr]n multilayer structure with non-collinear magnetic ordering was studied by the ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) method in the frequency interval 9.5–37 GHz at room temperature. Besides an acoustic branch, several additional modes were observed under parallel excitation of resonance. The FMR spectrum was calculated analytically in a biquadratic exchange model, neglecting in-plane anisotropy, for an infinite number of layers in the structure and numerically for a finite number of layers contained in real samples. It was shown that the observed modes correspond to excitation of standing spin waves with wave vectors perpendicular to the film plane. Pis’ma Zh. éksp. Teor. A new scheme is presented for the physical processes leading to the nuclear fusion reaction d(3He, 4He)p catalyzed by a negatively charged muon μ. It is shown that the observable rate and yield of the nuclear reaction depend on a chain of ion-molecular reactions involving the participation of the dμ 3He molecule. A new representation is found for the interaction of intense circularly polarized light with an atom. A stationary centrosymmetric part, which depends on the field parameter a 0=F2, is separated out from the atom-field interaction. The time-dependent part of the interaction is represented in the form of a multipole expansion with a 0 taken into account. The application of this representation for calculating the nonlinear dynamic polarizability of a complicated atom in the random-phase approximation with exchange is studied. Pis’ma Zh. éksp. Teor. A commercial baker’s yeast was subjected to selection in a continuous turbidostat cultivation with increasing concentration of acetic acid. The final acetic acid content in fresh medium was 0.6% or 0.8% v/v. Two of seven selected variants were stable over 15 sequential shake flask cultivations without selection pressure. After laboratory scale production of baker’s yeast, one of the variants also showed increased acetic acid tolerance in sour dough. The overall raising power (mL CO2/h) in sour dough was improved 36%.  相似文献

The segmental lipid chain mobility in the gel phase of dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine (DPPC) multilayers dispersed in buffer and in the interdigitated gel phase induced by glycerol, ethylene glycol, ethanol and chaotropic salt NaClO4 was compared by using conventional electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy. The stearic acids bearing the nitroxide moiety at different positions down the acyl chain (n-NSA,n-5, 7, 10, 12 and 16) were used to characterized the chain motion, and the outer hyperfine splittings of the spectra, 2A max, were taken as indices of the rotational mobility of the chain in the gel phase. The ESR measurements revealed a gradient of increased mobility on proceeding towards the terminal methyl end in the fully hydrated gel phase of DPPC bilayers. This gradient was reduced in the interdigitated gel phase induced by ethanol and chaotropic salt NaClO4, whereas the rotational mobility throughout the length of the chain was comparable to that near the polar/apolar interface in the interdigitated gel phase in glycerol and ethylene glycol. Moreover, the motional anisotropy was much less affected by temperature in the interdigitated gel state of DPPC in glycerol and ethylene glycol as compared both to normal bilayer gel phase and to the other interdigitated DPPC systems. Finally, there was no evidence for chain interdigitation in the fluid phase of DPPC dispersions in any medium.  相似文献

The idea of an even permutation has recently been generalized, via path notation, to one-one partial transformations (charts) in the symmetric inverse semigroupsC n. The even charts form the alternating semigroupA n c C n . Generators ofA n c are identified: It then follows that forn≥5,A n c is the collection of restrictions of the even permutations (of rankn). Recently, with the advent of supercomputers, there has been considerable interest in the use of direct numerical simulation to obtain information about turbulent shear flow at low Reynolds number. This paper presents a pseudospectral technique to solve the full three-dimensional time-dependent Navier-Stokes and advection-diffusion equations without the use of subgrid-scale modelling. The technique has not been previously used for fully developed turbulent channel flow simulation and is based on methods applied in other contexts. The emphasis of this paper is to provide a reasonably detailed account of how the simulation is done rather than to present new calculations of turbulence. The details of an algorithm for turbulent channel flow simulation and the grid and time step sizes needed to integrate through transient behaviour to steady state turbulence have not been published before and are presented here. Results from a Cray-2 simulation of fully developed turbulent flow in a channel with heat transfer are presented along with a critical comparison between experiment and computation. The first- and second-order moments agree well with experimental measurements; the agreement is poor for higher-order moments such as the skewness and flatness near the walls of the channel. Detailed information given about the effects of spatial grid resolution on a computed results is important for estimating the size of the computation required to study various aspects of a turbulent flow.  相似文献
