Interference of circularly polarized light: contrast and application in fabrication of three-dimensional periodic microstructures

The contrast of interference pattern formed by two circularly polarized waves and by a linearly polarized wave and a circularly polarized one is discussed. The results are compared with that by two linear beams. It shows that the use of circular light in holographic fabrication of three-dimensional periodic microstructures may remove the necessity of beam ratio and polarization optimization needed in the interference of three linear noncoplanar beams and improve the uniform contrast of resultant pattern simultaneously.     

Optical spectroscopy of Yb/Er codoped NaY(WO4)2 crystal

Erbium and ytterbium codoped double tungstates NaY(WO₄)₂ crystals were prepared by using Czochralski (CZ) pulling method. The absorption spectra in the region 290-2000 nm have been recorded at room temperature. The Judd-Ofelt theory was applied to the measured values of absorption line strengths to evaluate the spontaneous emission probabilities and stimulated emission cross sections of Er³⁺ ions in NaY(WO₄)₂ crystals. Intensive green and red lights were measured when the sample were pumped by a 974 nm laser diode (LD), especially, the intensities of green upconversion luminescence are very strong. The mechanism of energy transfer from Yb³⁺ to Er³⁺ ions was analyzed. Energy transfer and nonradiative relaxation played an important role in the upconversion process. Photoexcited luminescence experiments are also fulfilled to help analyzing the transit processes of the energy levels.

本文论述常用燃烧室的柴油机燃用纯酒精的技术可行性。以L195型柴油机采用高压喷射、火花助燃进行燃用纯酒精试验为依据,分析其主要性能和指标。从理论上探讨混合气形成、着火、功率、热效率和使用性能的特点与影响因素。     

不同方法制备的CO2-3替换磷灰石固溶体晶体化学的FTIR研究

采用不同方法制备了CO2-3替换的磷灰石固溶体,利用FTIR结合XRD对其进行了晶体化学研究,结果表明均相沉淀法制备的碳羟磷灰石(CHAP)属B型替换且替换方式是[CO3·OH]四面体替换[PO4]四面体;固相离子交换法制备的CHAP属A型替换且替换方式是[CO3]三角形配位体替换通道位置的OH-;固相反应法制备的碳氟磷灰石(CFAP)属B型替换,其替换方式是[CO3·F]四面体替换[PO4]四面体;sol-gel法制备的CHAP属AB混合型替换,其Ψ3分裂为Ψ3-1,Ψ3F,Ψ3-4.高斯函数法拟合表明Ψ3F峰是A型替换的Ψ3-2与B型替换的Ψ3-3的叠合.当WCO2-3＜3.34%时,随CO2-3含量增加,A型替换量增大,且当WCO2-3=3.34%时达最大值,当3.34%＜WCO2-3＜7.52%时,随CO2-3含量增加,B型替换量增大,且当WCO2-3= 7.52%时亦到饱和.     

Imaging in turbid media with intensity-modulated lasers

We describe the formation of a narrow beam for intensity-modulated electromagnetic radiation propagating through highly scattering materials. We propose to use this beam to reconstruct images, similar to X-ray back-projection techniques. For sufficiently high modulation frequency, the photon density wave is primarily carried by photons that suffer small or no large-angle scattering, which gives rise to the beam’s narrow divergence. The beam-narrowing concept is supported by large-scale numerical simulations to examine the quality of the imaging.     

Recursive method for ARMA model estimation (II)

In this paper a new recursive method for ARMA model estimation is given. Same as in [1], the order's estimator is strongly consistent, and the pearameter's estimaters defer to CLT and LIL under a natural condition. Compared with the previous methods suggested by Hannan & Kavalieris (1984), Wang Shouren & Chen Zhaoguo (1985) and Franke (1985), this method has some advantages: the amount of calculat on work is smaller, the minimum-phase property of coefficient estimators can be guaranteed, the BAN estimators for MA or AR model can be obtained directly, and the simulation shows that this method is more accurate in estimating the order and parameters.     

Demonstration of Soliton Solutions of DNLS Equation by Liouville Theorem

In the inverse scattering transform (IST), the reflectionless Jost solutions are combined by their analytic properties in the complex spectrum parameter plane, and then can be shown to satisfy the two Lax equations indeed by Liouville theorem. So the corresponding soliton solutions certainly satisfy the nonlinear equation by compatibility condition. Especially the multi-soliton solutions of DNLS equation can be demonstrated in this way. Influence of focusing depth on the microfabrication of waveguides inside silica glass by femtosecond laser direct writing

We studied the influence of focusing depth on the index change threshold and damage threshold of silica glass irradiated by a focused 120 fs laser beam. Both thresholds increased with the focusing depth. The aspect ratio of the waveguide cross section can be selected by changing the focusing depth. A 5 mm long waveguide was written at the depth of 2100 μm, which was single mode at 632.8 nm and exhibited propagation loss of 0.56 dB/cm. The refractive index change was calculated to be ∼2.47×10^-3. The influence of the focusing depth should be considered in multi-layer devices as shown in the fabrication of a 3×3 waveguide array. 泛函梯度数值计算的一种新方法—正交试验法

本文研究并揭示了L_(2~a)(2~(2~a-1))型正交表行(列)间的递推规律,提出了一种泛函梯度数值计算的新方法——正交试验法,该方法在计算速度和精度上优于直接梯度法;在通用性及节省内存方面优于伴随算子法。     

~（23）Na~（39）K分子D~1∏→X~1∑~＋激光感生荧光光谱及强度研究

实验获得了Ａｒ＋激光５１４．５ｎｍ线诱导２３Ｎａ３９Ｋ分子产生的Ｄ１∏→Ｘ１∑＋跃迁荧光谱．通过测量激光感生荧光光谱强度随泵浦功率、热管炉温度及缓冲气压变化规律，详细研究了其跃迁机制．用最小二乘法拟合获得２３Ｎａ３９Ｋ分于Ｘ１∑＋态振动常数．理论计算了各跃迁谱支波长值及Ｆｒａｎｃｋ－Ｃｏｎｄｏｎ因子和光谱强度值，与实验观测值符合得相当好，充分表明本文对激光感生荧光光谱的归属以及对各支谱线振、转量子数的赋值是合理的．
