On error bounds for lower semicontinuous functions

We give some sufficient conditions for proper lower semicontinuous functions on metric spaces to have error bounds (with exponents). For a proper convex function f on a normed space X the existence of a local error bound implies that of a global error bound. If in addition X is a Banach space, then error bounds can be characterized by the subdifferential of f. In a reflexive Banach space X, we further obtain several sufficient and necessary conditions for the existence of error bounds in terms of the lower Dini derivative of f. Neocompact Sets and the Fixed Point Property

We use a newly introduced concept of neocompactness to study problems from metric fixed point theory. In particular, we give a sufficient condition for a superreflexive Banach space X to have the fixed point property and obtain shorter proofs of some well-known results in that theory.

设R=Z/2\+kZ(k>1)是\{2\}[TX-]为非单位的有限局部环. 该文首先确定了R上斜对称矩阵标准形. 设G\+m\-p(R,H)={P∈GL\-m(R)|PHP′=H}是由矩阵H确定的伪辛群,其中H=[JB((][HL(2]0[]I\+\{(v)\}\=-I\+\{(v)\}[]0[HL)][JB))]Δ，Δ=[JB((][HL(2]\{2\}[TX-]\+\{k-1\}[]\{1\}[TX-]\=-\{1\}[TX-][]0[HL)][JB))]. 其次,计算了伪辛群G\+m\-P(R,H)的阶|G\+m\-P(R,H)|.     

动态模糊随机信息处理的数学方法

本文系统地概述了我们近年来提出的动态模糊随机信息处理的数学方法,内容包括模糊随机变量、模糊随机过程和模糊随机微分方程的基本解法等方面的基本概念、基本定义和某些重要的定理,以及动态系统的模糊随机响应与可靠性分析的方法等。这些方法是为我们研究工程实际问题的需要逐步发展起来的,对于处理某些类型的问题简便实用。     

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering study of polymer on metals. III. Chemisorbed polybenzimidazole and its corrosion-inhibiting properties at high temperature

Chemisorption of polybenzimidazole on silver and copper etched with nitric acid has been observed by surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). The polymer is found to react chemically with silver, forming a complexed film on the surface. The SERS spectra show that polybenzimidazole film inhibits oxidation of the metal at high temperature, unlike chemisorbed benzimidazole, benzotriazole, and poly(4-vinyl pyridine). © 1992 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
