Technical barrier to trade (TBT) has become one of the significant non-tariff measures with the advent of the WTO system in 1995. The key issue in TBT is that technical regulations, standards, and conformity assessment should not be used as barriers to trade. Regarding conformity assessment, the WTO/TBT Agreement recommends members to enter into negotiations for the mutual recognition of results of each other’s conformity assessment, as well as to permit participation of conformity assessment bodies located in other members. In this paper, it will be reviewed why the role of measurement science is important in terms of international effort to eliminate technical barriers to trade particularly in the area of conformity assessment.  相似文献

On the basis of theoretical considerations of the intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) effect, we have designed a series of donor (D)–acceptor (A) conjugated polymers based on bis‐benzothiadiazole (BBT). A PPP‐type copolymer of electron‐rich 2,7‐carbazole (CZ) and electron‐deficient BBT units poly[N‐(2‐decyltetradecyl)‐2,7‐carbazole‐co‐7,7′‐{4,4′‐bis‐(2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole)}] ( PCZ‐BBT ), a PPV‐type copolymer poly[N‐(2‐decyltetradecyl)‐2,7‐carbazolevinylene‐co‐7,7′‐{4,4′‐bis‐(2,1,3‐benzothiadiazolevinylene)}] ( PCZV‐BBTV ), and a tercopolymer based on carbazole, thiophene, and BBT poly[N‐(2‐decyltetradecyl)‐2,7‐(di‐2‐thienyl)carbazole‐co‐7,7′‐{4,4′‐bis‐(2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole)}] ( PDTCZ‐BBT ) have been synthesized to understand the influence of BBT acceptor structure and linkage on the photovoltaic characteristics of the resulting materials. Both the HOMO and LUMO of the resulting polymers are found to be deeper‐lying than those of benzothiadiazole‐based polymers. The measured electrochemical band gaps (eV) are in the following order: PDTCZ‐BBT (1.65 eV) < PCZV‐BBTV (1.69 eV) < PCZ‐BBT (1.75 eV). All the polymers provide a photovoltaic response when blended with a fullerene derivative as an electron acceptor. The best cell reaches a power conversion efficiency of 2.07 % estimated under standard solar light conditions (AM1.5G, 100 mW cm?2). We demonstrate for the first time that BBT‐based polymers are promising materials for use in bulk‐heterojunction solar cells.  相似文献

The activation of nuclear factor-kappa B1 (NFkB1) in cancer cells may confer resistance to ionizing radiation (IR). To enhance the therapeutic efficiency of IR in lung cancer, we screened for microRNAs (miRNAs) that suppress NFkB1 and observed their effects on radiosensitivity in a human lung cancer cell line. From time series data of miRNA expression in γ-irradiated H1299 human lung cancer cells, we found that the expression of miR-9 was inversely correlated with that of NFκB1. Overexpression of miR-9 down-regulated the level of NFκB1 in H1299 cells, and the surviving fraction of γ-irradiated cells was decreased. Interestingly, let-7g also suppressed the expression of NFκB1, although there was no canonical target site for let-7g in the NFκB1 3' untranslated region. From these results, we conclude that the expression of miR-9 and let-7g could enhance the efficiency of radiotherapy for lung cancer treatment through the inhibition of NFκB1.  相似文献

Several zeolites, such as faujasite, mordenite, and ZSM-5, with various aluminum contents have been used to analyze the effect of aluminum or cation concentration (strength of electrostatic field) on hydrogen adsorption at low temperature. Irrespective of the zeolite structure, the adsorption capacity, isosteric heat of adsorption (-DeltaHads), surface coverage, and micropore occupancy increase with increasing aluminum content of a zeolite. Zeolites with a higher amount of aluminum favorably adsorb hydrogen at relatively low pressures. For zeolites with similar aluminum contents, the adsorption capacity, isosteric heat of adsorption, surface coverage, and micropore occupancy are in the order of mordenite>ZSM-5>faujasite, probably due to differing pore sizes and the presence or absence of pore intersections. This work demonstrates that zeolites with strong electrostatic fields and narrow pores without intersections are beneficial for high hydrogen uptake.  相似文献

A new donor moiety, 7,7,13,13‐tetramethyl‐7,13‐dihydro‐5H‐indeno[1,2‐b]acridine (IAc), was developed to control the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) dispersion of thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) emitters. The IAc unit expanded the HOMO dispersion of the emitters and increased the quantum efficiency of the TADF devices up to 20.9 %.  相似文献

Redox‐responsive core cross‐linked (CCL) micelles of poly(ethylene oxide)‐b‐poly(furfuryl methacrylate) (PEO‐b‐PFMA) block copolymers were prepared by the Diels‐Alder click‐type reaction. First, the PEO‐b‐PFMA amphiphilic block copolymer was synthesized by the reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer polymerization. The hydrophobic blocks of PFMA were employed to encapsulate the doxorubicin (DOX) drug, and they were cross‐linked using dithiobismaleimidoethane at 60 °C without any catalyst. Under physiological circumstance, the CCL micelles demonstrated the enhanced structural stability of the micelles, whereas dissociation of the micelles took place rapidly through the breaking of disulfide bonds in the cross‐linking linkages under reduction environment. The core‐cross‐linked micelles showed fine spherical distribution with hydrodynamic diameter of 68 ± 2.9  nm. The in vitro drug release profiles presented a slight release of DOX at pH 7.4, while a significant release of DOX was observed at pH 5.0 in the presence of 1,4‐dithiothreitol. MTT assays demonstrated that the block copolymer did not have any practically cytotoxicity against the normal HEK293 cell line while DOX‐loaded CCL micelles exhibited a high antitumor activity towards HepG2 cells. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
