In this paper we present explicit formulas for the *-product on quantum spaces which are of particular importance in physics,
i.e., the q-deformed Minkowski space and the q-deformed Euclidean space in 3 and 4 dimensions, respectively. Our formulas are complete and formulated using the deformation
parameter q. In addition, we worked out an expansion in powers of up to second order, for all considered cases.

We present a mechanism for the recently discovered magnetoresistance in disordered pi-conjugated materials, based on hopping of polarons and bipolaron formation, in the presence of the random hyperfine fields of the hydrogen nuclei and an external magnetic field. Within a simple model we describe the magnetic field dependence of the bipolaron density. Monte Carlo simulations including on-site and longer-range Coulomb repulsion show how this leads to positive and negative magnetoresistance. Depending on the branching ratio between bipolaron formation or dissociation and hopping rates, two different line shapes in excellent agreement with experiment are obtained. 相似文献

We consider a scalar φ4 theory on canonically deformed Euclidean space in 4 dimensions with an additional oscillator potential. This model is known
to be renormalisable. An exterior gauge field is coupled in a gauge invariant manner to the scalar field. We extract the dynamics
for the gauge field from the divergent terms of the 1-loop effective action, using a matrix basis and propose an action for
the noncommutative gauge theory, which is a candidate for a renormalisable model.

A non-local toy model whose interaction consists of smeared, non-local field operators is presented. We work out the Feynman rules and propose a power counting formula for arbitrary graphs. Explicit calculations for one loop graphs show that their contribution is finite for sufficient smearing and agree with the power counting formula. UV/IR mixing does not occur.Received: 26 February 2004, Published online: 5 May 2004 相似文献

Relaxation dynamics of even parity ( A(g)) states in poly( p-phenylene vinylene) derivatives are studied using a novel fsec transient spectroscopy, in which two different excitation pulses successively generate odd parity ( 1 (1)B(u)) excitons at 2.2 eV and then reexcite them to higher A(g) states. For reexcitation energies Planck's over 2piomega<1.1 eV ultrafast internal conversion back to 1 (1)B(u) takes place in accordance with Vavilov-Kasha's rule. However, for Planck's over 2piomega>1.1 eV the decay occurs in a nonemissive state identified as a polaron pair, showing that the A(g) states above 3.3 eV mediate charge transfer. 相似文献
