Oxydes de plomb. I. Structure cristalline du minium Pb3O4, à température ambiante (293 K)

The structure of Pb₃O₄ at 293 K has been refined to an R value of 0.06, using 29 neutron diffraction data obtained from a powdered sample.Oxygen atoms are displaced in the quadratic cell (space group $\text{P4}{}_2\text{mbc}\text{; a = 8.811}$ Å and c = 6.563 Å) with respect to previous results obtained by several authors. The interatomic Pb^IVO and Pb^IIO distances are compared with those found in other lead oxides. While the oxygen octahedra around Pb^IV atoms are characterized by bondings a little too long, the divalent lead coordination is characterized by bondings a little too short.     

Associative products of graphs

It is shown that there exist exactly twenty products of graphs defined on the Cartesian product of the vertex sets of the factors where the adjacencies of the vertices only depend on the adjacencies in the factors.     

On graphs with regular groups

A new method for the construction of graphs with given regular group is developed and used to show that to every nonabelian group G of order 3^k, k ≥ 4, there exists a graph X whose automorphism group is isomorphic to G and regular as a permutation group on the set of vertices of X.     

The influence of rotational coupling on K-vacancy formation in U-Pb collisions

The beta endpoint energies of the alkaline fission products^88–94Rb and^139–144Cs have been measured with an intrinsic Ge-detector at the OSTIS fission product separator. The linearity and high resolution of the detector yields an accuracy of up to a few keV. Additional beta gamma coincidence spectra allow the deduction of Q_β-values.
