Codiameters of 3‐connected 3‐domination critical graphs

A graph G is 3‐domination critical if its domination number γ is 3 and the addition of any edge decreases γ by 1. Let G be a 3‐connected 3‐domination critical graph of order n. In this paper, we show that there is a path of length at least n?2 between any two distinct vertices in G and the lower bound is sharp. © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 作物覆盖条件下土壤中水热分布的稳态数值比较

本文应用非饱和多孔介质中传热传质的数学模型,考虑到作物根系和冠层的影响,对稳态情况下圆柱形士壤床中的水热分布进行了数值计算模拟。在不同环境条件下对土壤中的水热分布也进行了模拟计算。同时,在相同环境条件下对有作物覆盖的土壤床和无作物覆盖的土壤床中的水热分布也进行了模拟比较。文中数值模拟的结果较好地反映了实际情况。     

Thin strain-relaxed SiGe grown by ultrahigh vacuum chemical vapor deposition

Large-scale preparation of thin strain-relaxed SiGe is achieved by combining ion implantation and ultrahigh vacuum chemical vapor deposition. The resulting materials were analyzed by double crystal X-ray diffraction, micro-Raman spectroscopy, and tapping mode atomic force microscope. Results revealed that 100-nm-thick Si_0.7Ge_0.3 layers with the diameter of 125 mm and full strain relaxation are successfully prepared by pre-modifying the Si substrates using 50 keV Ar⁺ ions. The strain relaxation is also disclosed to change with both ion species and energy. However, post-modification of SiGe by ion implantation will cause serious damage to the crystal structures, and result in the formation of poly-crystal SiGe.     

Preparing polymer brushes on polytetrafluoroethylene films by free radical polymerization

Films of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) were exposed to sodium naphthalenide (Na/naphtha) etchant so as to defluorinate the surface for obtaining hydroxyl functionality. Surface-initiators were immobilized on the PTFE films by esterification of 4,4′-azobis(4-cyanopentanoic acid) (ACP) and the hydroxyl groups covalently linked to the surface. Grafting of polymer brushes on the PTFE films was carried out by the surface-initiated free radical polymerization. Homopolymers brushes of methyl methacrylate (MMA) were prepared by free radical polymerization from the azo-functionalized PTFE surface. The chemical composition and topography of the graft-functionalized PTFE surfaces were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), attenuated total reflectance (ATR) FT-IR spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy (AFM). Water contact angles on PTFE films were reduced by surface grafting of MMA.     

Compact Single-Stage Femtosecond Multipass Ti：Sapphire Amplifier at 1 kHz with High Beam Quality

A compact femtosecond Ti：sapphire amplifier system is reported using single-stage multipass configuration with high beam quality. A high dispersion glass stretcher and a pair of double prisms for compression are introduced based on broadband femtosecond seed pulses. The non-grating-based pulse stretcher and compressor are advantageous to increase high beam quality and to reduce the high-order dispersion. A Gaussian filter is used to reduce the gain narrowing effect in amplification. The compact femtosecond Ti：sapphire nine-pass amplifier delivers pulses with a duration of 26 fs and an energy of 800μJ at 7mJ pumping pulses energy at I kHz. The 1-kHz femtosecond amplifier with high beam quality and high stability is very suitable for ultrafast physics research applications, such as attosecond science, ultra-precision micromachining, and THz wave generation.     

Strategies for the development of a voltammetric sensor for the determination of hydrogen peroxide at high concentrations

Different strategies are presented for the development of a voltammetric sensor for in-line measurement and monitoring of H₂O₂ in high concentrations (up to 30 g/l) as used in textile bleaching systems. When using macroelectrodes, signal saturation is observed even at medium concentrations. Some improvement can be achieved by hydrodynamic electrodes like ring-disk electrodes. Satisfactory results up to the desired level in practical solutions (possessing only limited conductivity) are obtained with Pt-microelectrodes.

聚乙炔的CH面外振动红外光谱研究

采用从头计算方法，计算了反式和顺式聚乙炔的氢原子在垂直于聚乙炔分子面方向振动的红外光谱，计算表明，Gibson等用红外吸收实验所测得的谱线的确是聚乙炔的CH面外振动产生的谱线，经100℃长时间加热后，顺式聚乙炔变为反式聚炔，但波数为740cm^-1的谱级仍保留5％的强度。     

Use of a long-spacer-side-chain liquid crystalline polysiloxane containing a crown ether as a stationary phase for capillary gas chromatography

A new kind of side chain liquid crystalline polysiloxane containing a crown ether with a longer spacer (PSC-11) has been prepared and coated on a fused silica capillary column. The main chroma-tographic characteristics including efficiency, polarity, and selectivity have been examined. The phase exhibits the retention properties of both liquid crystal and crown ether stationary phases and possesses higher efficiency and better selectivity than PSC-3, which has a shorter spacer between the main polysiloxane chain and liquid crystalline side chain.     

条件泛函及其导数非参数估计的强一致收敛速度

研究了条件泛函及其导数的非参数估计,对随机与固定设计的条件泛函,分别利用核估计和非参数加权估计,在核函数及权函数满足一定条件下,证明了估计一致强收敛于待估函数的速度可达到最优。从而进一步推广和发展了Hrdle,etal.(1988)、Severini,etal.(1992)的许多结果。
