Neutron scattering experiments on DyPO4 were performed without and with external field at temperatures between 1.65 and 3.5 K in order to determine the phase diagram and critical properties. In contrast to previous results the M(H)-curve shows typical first order behaviour fot T ? 2 K and H ? 4.2. kG. The Hc(T)-curve agrees quite well with the previous results. Critical scattering was observed at 1.65 K around the (110) magnetic Gragg-peak. A structure refinement at room temperature was also done mainly in order to check for the importance of extinction.  相似文献

The paper presents the results of an experimental study of thermal expansion of isostructural orthorhombic ErFeO3 and ErAlO3 single crystals. Changes of lattice parameters have been investigated by X-ray measurements in the 10-300 K temperature range. Above ∼150 K, experimental results correspond well to the phonon mechanism. At low temperatures distinct anisotropic anomalies were observed in both compounds; and a correlation with the magnetic properties of the relevant ions is noted.  相似文献

57Fe Mössbauer spectra of the modified pyrochlores CsMFeF6 (M = Mn, Ni) were obtained between 1.5 K and room temperature. The spectra for single crystal and powder absorbers are very similar, and demonstrate the randomness associated with the iron sites. Nevertheless, the presence of two distinct iron sites, recently reported by Varret and Courbion for powder samples, is confirmed. Both CsMnFeF6 and CsNiFeF6 are antiferromagnets with Néel temperatures, TN, of 25 and 5.2 K, respectively. The hyperfine fields lie on the Brillouin function with S = 52. The hyperfine parameters show that the iron ions are ferric in the high-spin state.  相似文献

It is well known that, for stepsize sufficiently small, compactattractors of ordinary differential equations persist underdiscretization. The present paper describes the structure ofthe discrete-time dynamical system obtained via discretizationon A(Mh)\Mh where Mh is the approximate attractor and A(Mh)is its domain of attraction. The existence of a smooth embeddinginto a continuous-time parallelizable flow is proved. The constructioncan be used to define sections for discretizations and can beinterpreted as a justification of the method of modified equations.  相似文献
