The synthesis and structural characterization of the hitherto unknown parent Co(bz)2+ (bz=benzene) complex and several of its derivatives are described. Their synthesis starts either from a CoCO5+ salt, or directly from Co2(CO)8 and a Ag+ salt. Stability and solubility of these complexes was achieved by using the weakly coordinating anions (WCAs) [Al(ORF)4]? and [F{Al(ORF)3}2]? {RF=C(CF3)3} and the solvent ortho‐difluorobenzene (o‐DFB). The magnetic properties of Co(bz)2+ were measured and compared in the condensed and gas phases. The weakly bound Co(o‐dfb)2+ salts are of particular interest for the preparation of further CoI salts, for example, the structurally characterized low‐coordinate 12 valence electron Co(PtBu3)2+ and Co(NHC)2+ salts. 相似文献

The six-coordinate nitrosyl sigma-bonded aryl(iron) and -(ruthenium) porphyrin complexes (OEP)Fe(NO)(p-C(6)H(4)F) and (OEP)Ru(NO)(p-C(6)H(4)F) (OEP = octaethylporphyrinato dianion) have been synthesized and characterized. Single-crystal X-ray structure determinations reveal an unprecedented bending and tilting of the MNO group for both [MNO](6) species as well as significant lengthening of trans axial bond distances. In (OEP)Fe(NO)(p-C(6)H(4)F) the Fe-N-O angle is 157.4(2) degrees, the nitrosyl nitrogen atom is tilted off of the normal to the heme plane by 9.2 degrees, Fe-N(NO) = 1.728(2) A, and Fe-C(aryl) = 2.040(3) A. In (OEP)Ru(NO)(p-C(6)H(4)F) the Ru-N-O angle is 154.9(3) degrees, the nitrosyl nitrogen atom is tilted off of the heme normal by 10.8 degrees, Ru-N(NO) = 1.807(3) A, and Ru-C(aryl) = 2.111(3) A. We show that these structural features are intrinsic to the molecules and are imposed by the strongly sigma-donating aryl ligand trans to the nitrosyl. Density functional-based calculations reproduce the structural distortions observed in the parent (OEP)Fe(NO)(p-C(6)H(4)F) and, combined with the results of extended Hückel calculations, show that the observed bending and tilting of the FeNO group indeed represent a low-energy conformation. We have identified specific orbital interactions that favor the unexpected bending and tilting of the FeNO group. The aryl ligand also affects the Fe-NO pi-bonding as measured by infrared and (57)Fe M?ssbauer spectroscopies. The solid-state nitrosyl stretching frequencies for the iron complex (1791 cm(-)(1)) and the ruthenium complex (1773 cm(-)(1)) are significantly reduced compared to their respective [MNO](6) counterparts. The M?ssbauer data for (OEP)Fe(NO)(p-C(6)H(4)F) yield the quadrupole splitting parameter +0.57 mm/s and the isomer shift 0.14 mm/s at 4.2 K. The results of our study show, for the first time, that bent Fe-N-O linkages are possible in formally ferric nitrosyl porphyrins. 相似文献

Low pressure steam turbine blades are subjected to high static and dynamic loads during operation. These loads strongly depend on the turbine's rotational speed, leading to entirely new load conditions. To avoid high dynamic stresses due to the forced vibrations, a coupling of the blades, such as shrouds or snubber coupling, is applied to reinforce the structure. In this work the influence of the rotational speed on the vibration behavior of shrouded blades is investigated. Two fundamental phenomena are considered: the stress stiffening and the spin softening effect. Both effects are caused by centrifugal forces and affect the structural mechanical properties, i.e. the stiffness matrix K , of the rotating system. Since the rotational speed Ω appears quadratically, it is possible to derive the stiffness matrix as a second order matrix polynomial in Ω2 [3]. In the case of shrouded blades, contact forces between neighboring blades must be taken into account. The contact status and the pressure distribution in particular is strongly influenced by the rotational speed, respectively, centrifugal forces, caused by the untwisting and radial deformation of the blades. For the calculation, a three dimensional structural mechanical model including a spatial contact model is considered. The solution of the nonlinear equations of motion is based on the well known Multiharmonic Balance Method [2]. Here, the nonlinear forces are computed in the time domain and transferred in the frequency domain by the use of the Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT), also known as the Alternating Frequency Time method (AFT) [1]. Bremsstrahlung isochromat spectra at hω0 = 9.7 eV for electrons normally incident on a clean Ni(100) surface are compared to emission from Ni(100) with an ordered c(2 × 2) oxygen overlayer. We observe strong emission due to adsorbate induced antibonding electronic states near EF and a simultaneous attenuation of previously identified direct bulk interband transitions. The heavy-fermion system CeCu6-xAgx is studied at its antiferromagnetic quantum critical point, xc=0.2, by low-temperature (T> or =50 mK) specific heat, C(T), and volume thermal expansion, beta(T), measurements. Whereas C/T proportional to log((T0/T) would be compatible with the predictions of the itinerant spin-density-wave (SDW) theory for two-dimensional critical spin fluctuations, beta(T)/T and the Grüneisen ratio, Gamma(T) proportional to beta/C, diverge much weaker than expected, in strong contrast to this model. Both C and beta, plotted as a function of the reduced temperature t=T/T0 with T0=4.6 K, are similar to what was observed for YbRh2(Si(0.95)Ge(0.05))2 (T0=23.3 K), indicating a striking discrepancy to the SDW prediction in both systems. 相似文献
