Investigation of the thermoluminescence of Sr++ doped NaCl phosphors indicate that a glow peak at 410 K has marked dependence on the thermal and mechanical teratments as well as on the concentration of the dopant. Abstract Wavelets have motivated development of a host of new ideas in nonparametric regression smoothing. Here we apply the too] of exact risk analysis, to understand the small sample behavior of wavelet estimators, and thus to check directly the conclusions suggested by asymptotics. Comparisons between some wavelet bases, and also between hard and soft thresholding, are given from several viewpoints. Environmentally benign one-pot protocol is used in the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) in powder form, involving the reduction of silver nitrate in the presence of fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as stabilizer by hydrogen (H2) as reducing agent in aqueous medium. Fully hydrolyzed biodegradable PVA has extremely low cytotoxicity, making it a favorable stabilizer from green perspective. In the present methodology, essentially naked silver nanoparticles are obtained in good yield. The prepared silver nanoparticles were characterized by TEM, XRD, EDAX, UV–Vis spectroscopy and DLS histogram, and studied for its activity as a recyclable catalyst for synthesis of different enaminones. 相似文献

In this article, an extension to the total variation diminishing finite volume formulation of the lattice Boltzmann equation method on unstructured meshes was presented. The quadratic least squares procedure is used for the estimation of first‐order and second‐order spatial gradients of the particle distribution functions. The distribution functions were extrapolated quadratically to the virtual upwind node. The time integration was performed using the fourth‐order Runge–Kutta procedure. A grid convergence study was performed in order to demonstrate the order of accuracy of the present scheme. The formulation was validated for the benchmark two‐dimensional, laminar, and unsteady flow past a single circular cylinder. These computations were then investigated for the low Mach number simulations. Further validation was performed for flow past two circular cylinders arranged in tandem and side‐by‐side. WCK 771 is an l ‐arginine salt of levonadifloxacin (LND) being developed in intravenous dosage form and has recently completed a phase III trial in India. The pharmacokinetics of WCK 771, a novel anti‐MRSA fluoroquinolone, were examined in mice, rats, rabbits, dogs, monkeys and humans after systemic administration during pre‐clinical and clinical investigations. Urine and serum were evaluated for identification of metabolites. It was observed that LND mainly follows phase II biotransformation pathways. All of the species showed a different array of metabolites. In mice, rabbit and dog, the drug was mainly excreted in the form of O‐glucuronide (M7) and acyl glucuronide (M8) conjugates, whereas in rat and human major metabolite was sulfate conjugate (M6). Monkeys exhibited equal distribution of sulfate (M6) and glucuronide conjugates (M7, M8). In addition to these three major phase II metabolites; five phase I oxidative metabolites (M1, M2, M3, M4 and M5) were identified using liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. Out of these eight metabolites M2, M3, M5, M7 and M8 are reported for the first time. 相似文献

Macrocyclic compounds, such as resorcin[4]arenes and pyrogallol[4]arenes, have proven to be useful building blocks in the construction of supramolecular organic frameworks (SOFs) because of their unique bowl‐like shape and ability to interact through variety of intermolecular interactions. Herein, we report the synthesis and crystal structures of two functionalized resorcin[4]arenes and pyroagllol[4]arenes, 4‐hydroxyphenylresorcin[4]arenes, and 4‐hydroxyphenylpyrogallol[4]arenes. These phenyl‐functionalized macrocycles usually have different conformers, such as cone, boat, chair, saddle, and diamond. The successful separation of predominant conformers from the crude product was carried out with solvent‐extraction technique. The shape and molecular arrangement of these conformers in the individual crystal structure was verified with single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies. 相似文献

The edible parts of the plants Camellia sinensis, Vitis vinifera and Withania somnifera were extensively used in ancient practices such as Ayurveda, owing to their potent biomedical significance. They are very rich in secondary metabolites such as polyphenols, which are very good antioxidants and exhibit anti-carcinogenic properties. This study aims to evaluate the anti-cancerous properties of these plant crude extracts on human liver cancer HepG2 cells. The leaves of Camellia sinensis, Withania somnifera and the seeds of Vitis vinifera were collected and methanolic extracts were prepared. Then, these extracts were subjected to DPPH, α- amylase assays to determine the antioxidant properties. A MTT assay was performed to investigate the viability of the extracts of HepG2 cells, and the mode of cell death was detected by Ao/EtBr staining and flow cytometry with PI Annexin- V FITC dual staining. Then, the protein expression of BAX and BCl2 was studied using fluorescent dye to determine the regulation of the BAX and BCl2 genes. We observed that all the three extracts showed the presence of bioactive compounds such as polyphenols or phytochemicals. The W. somnifera bioactive compounds were found to have the highest anti-proliferative activity on human liver cancer cells. 相似文献
