A complete classification is given of all [22, 11] and [24, 12] binary self-dual codes. For each code we give the order of its group, the number of codes equivalent to it, and its weight distribution. There is a unique [24, 12, 6] self-dual code. Several theorems on the enumeration of self-dual codes are used, including formulas for the number of such codes with minimum distance ? 4, and for the sum of the weight enumerators of all such codes of length n. We give the complete classification of all binary, self-dual, doubly-even (32, 16) codes. There are 85 non-equivalent, self-dual, doubly-even (32, 16) codes. Five of these have minimum weight 8, namely, a quadratic residue code and a Reed-Muller code, and three new codes. A set of generators is given for a code in each equivalence class together with its entire weight distribution and the order of its entire group with other information facilitating the computation of permutation generators. The extension of Guggenheim's Quasi-Chemical Theory in terms of groups proposed by Kehiaian, Grolier and Benson is discussed in terms of the non-random factors defined by Panayiotou and Vera. The hippocampus is a brain region that is particularly affected by age-related morphological changes. It is generally assumed that a loss in hippocampal volume results in functional deficits that contribute to age-related cognitive decline. We provide an algorithm to compute the nodes and weights for Gauss-Chebyshev quadrature formulas integrating exactly in spaces of rational functions with arbitrary real poles outside . Contrary to existing rational quadrature formulas, the computational effort is very low, even for extremely high degrees, and under certain conditions on the poles it can be shown that the complexity is of order . Interactions of boar, bull, and human seminal plasma proteins with heparin and phosphorylcholine were studied by affinity LC using heparin immobilized to a Toyopearl support. A step gradient elution from 0.15 to 1.50 M NaCl was employed to elute the seminal plasma proteins. Relative amounts of the heparin-binding fraction of seminal plasma proteins (H+) in seminal plasma of three species were determined. Further on, the fraction of seminal plasma proteins interacting with phosphorylcholine-binding proteins (P+) was evaluated. P+ proteins were not found in human seminal plasma and their highest amount was present in bull seminal plasma. A CE method was developed for separation of seminal plasma proteins. Various capillaries and separation conditions were tested; the best resolution was obtained in a bare-silica capillary, with a micellar system consisting of a 0.02 M borate buffer and 0.05 M SDS pH 10.0. The optimized conditions were applied to the identification of the components in boar plasma. 相似文献
