A singularity sensitive to the external magnetic field was observed in the temperature dependences of the magnetization of multilayer (Co/Si/Gd/Si)20 films in the vicinity of compensation temperature. Complex studies have been performed for the structural, static magnetic, and resonance properties of a new magnet LiCuFe2(VO4)3 prepared by solid-phase synthesis. The temperature dependence of the susceptibility has an anomaly at temperature Tmax = 9.6 K. At high temperatures, the LiCuFe2(VO4)3 sample is in the paramagnetic state described by the Curie–Weiss law at T > 50 K and mainly determined by iron ions with effective magnetic moment μeff(exp) = 8.6μB per formula unit. At low temperatures, a long-range magnetic order is observed in the magnetic subsystem of the sample; the order is predominantly characterized by the antiferromagnetic exchange interaction and high frustration level. The exchange interaction parameters are estimated in a six-sublattice representation of the LiCuFe2(VO4)3 magnet. It is shown that the LiCuFe2(VO4)3 compound is an antiferromagnet with strong intrachain and frustrating interchain exchange interactions.  相似文献

Results of an experimental study of MnS, FeS, and Fe x Mn1?x S single crystals are presented. The phase composition, the lattice parameters, and the state of paramagnetic ions in Fe x Mn1?x S have been determined by x-ray diffraction analysis and Mössbauer spectroscopy. A sequence of transitions have been found in iron manganese sulfide with x = 0.29 at temperatures T 1 ≈ 25–50 K, T 2 ≈ 125 K, and T 3 ≈ 190 K with a change in kinetic properties and the formation of a metallic state at low temperatures T ≈ 2 K. The possibility of a Mott-Hubbard transition in Fe x Mn1?x S sulfides with variation of the composition and the temperature is discussed.  相似文献

The results of experimental investigation of magnetic and electric properties of Fe1?x Dy x Si crystals are reported. It is shown that the magnitude and position of the anomaly observed in the temperature dependences of magnetization are controlled to a considerable extent by the external magnetic field. It is found that the introduction of Dy ions leads to a weak magnetoresistive effect.  相似文献

The needle shape single crystals Co3−x MnxO2BO3 with ludwigite structure have been prepared. According to the X-ray diffraction data the preferable character of distinct crystallographic positions occupation by Mn ions is established. Magnetization field and temperature dependencies are measured. Paramagnetic Curie temperature value Θ=−100 K points out the predominance of antiferromagnetic interactions. Spin-glass magnetic ordering takes the onset at TN=41 K. The crystallographic and magnetic properties of Co3O2BO3:Mn are compared with the same for the isostructural analogs Co3O2BO3 and CoO2BO3:Fe.  相似文献

The Cr x Mn1 − x S single crystals have been synthesized based on manganese monosulfide as a result of cation substitution, and their magnetic properties have been studied. It has been established that the Cr x Mn1 − x S solid solutions with a face-centered cubic NaCl structure are formed in the concentration region 0 ≤ x < 0.3. The unit cell parameter of the solid solution decreases as the degree of substitution increases due to the variation in the ionic radius of cations. These substances are antiferromagnets. An increase in the degree of cation substitution in the Cr x Mn1 − x S solid solutions is accompanied by a decrease in the number of 3d electrons in the d shell of manganese monosulfide and causes a decrease in the magnetic transition temperature from 149 K (x = 0) to 96 K (x = 0.29), which differs from previously known results.  相似文献

The surface morphology and local structure of layers in the Ni-Ge and Ge-Ni-Ge-Ni-Ge films have been investigated. It has been shown that the surface of the films follows the roughnesses of the substrate surface, which have characteristic dimensions of 2–4 nm in height and ~100 nm in plane. It has been found that an interface with the depth ranging from 9 to 18 nm is formed at the boundaries between the Ni and Ge layers. The data obtained have been used to explain the specific features of the magnetic properties of the studied films, such as the asymmetry of hysteresis loops at low temperatures and the difference between the temperature dependences of the magnetization of the samples for two cooling modes: in a magnetic field and without a magnetic field.  相似文献

A layered Cu–Cr–S structure doped with Ga ions and consisting of single-crystal CuCrS2 layers, embedded with thin plates of spinel phases CuCr2S4 and CuGaxCr2–xS4, has been studied using the magnetic resonance and magnetic susceptibility methods. The Curie temperature and the saturation magnetization of the spinel phases of the samples have been determined. The spinel phase layer thickness has been estimated.  相似文献
