Magnetic hysteresis is demonstrated for monolayers of the single-molecule magnet (SMM) Dy2ScN@C80 deposited on Au(111), Ag(100), and MgO|Ag(100) surfaces by vacuum sublimation. The topography and electronic structure of Dy2ScN@C80 adsorbed on Au(111) were studied by STM. X-ray magnetic CD studies show that the Dy2ScN@C80 monolayers exhibit similarly broad magnetic hysteresis independent on the substrate used, but the orientation of the Dy2ScN cluster depends strongly on the surface. DFT calculations show that the extent of the electronic interaction of the fullerene molecules with the surface is increasing dramatically from MgO to Au(111) and Ag(100). However, the charge redistribution at the fullerene-surface interface is fully absorbed by the carbon cage, leaving the state of the endohedral cluster intact. This Faraday cage effect of the fullerene preserves the magnetic bistability of fullerene-SMMs on conducting substrates and facilitates their application in molecular spintronics.  相似文献

We report an experimental study of dynamic coupling of two laser diodes (LD’s) with a double phase-conjugate mirror (DPCM) in a Bi12TiO20 fiber-like crystal. After the DPCM is recorded in the crystal, one of the LD’s is switched to the multimode regime, while the other remains lasing in the single longitudinal mode. Nevertheless, the DPCM produces phase locking of the single-mode laser with one of the longitudinal modes of the multimode laser. Only the longitudinal mode survives after the transmission through the DPCM, demonstrating the coherence length recovery of the multimode laser.  相似文献

In this work we describe the topology and some physical properties of a new type of avalanche detector with internal gain and internal negative feedback based on Metal-Resistive Layer-Semiconductor (MRS) structure. Homogeneous gas-phase pyrolysis of ethane by continuous CO2 laser irradiation was used in our experiments for bulk heating of the reaction mixture. Laser energy was absorbed by ethylene, the main product of ethane dehydrogenation, and transferred to the reaction medium via collisional relaxation. A mechanism of ethane dehydrogenation is suggested to describe the pyrolysis process. The mechanism is autocatalytic in respect of ethylene and includes ethane?Cethylene interaction with the formation of methyl and propyl radicals. Rate constants of elementary reactions, selectivity, and yields of pyrolysis products were determined. The composition of ethane dehydrogenation products determined in the experiments was substantially different from the calculated thermodynamic equilibrium composition.  相似文献

The investigation of the extraction properties of a series of polyoligodentate β-aminophosphine oxides 1–8 bearing from one to six phosphine oxide groups in a molecule towards Ln(III) and alkaline earth metals ions from neutral media has revealed that, using common diluents, the extraction efficiency increases with an increase of a number of P=O functions in a ligand. The addition of ionic liquid, namely 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis[(trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl]imide ([bmim][NTf2]), significantly increasing the extraction efficiency and application of IL concentration of 0.05 M (in 1,2-dichloroethane) providing the maximum recovery of metal ions with Lu/La separation factor reaching up to 91. Hexapodal tris[bis(2-diphenylphosphorylethyl)aminoethyl]amine 8 demonstrates the highest extraction under all conditions applied and the separation factor for U and Eu of this compound exceeded 103.   相似文献

Physicochemical and catalytic properties of compositions Fe(Ce)–Mn–O/support (gamma-, theta-, alpha-Al2O3, SiO2 as the support) and Pt/CeO2/theta-Al2O3 for oxidation of soot were characterized. It was established that the phase composition of the initial catalysts depended mainly on the nature of the active component and preparation conditions. Non-isothermal treatment of the soot–catalyst compositions at the temperature up to 1000 °C resulted in a change in the phase composition depending mainly on the final treatment temperature. The catalyst surface area was determined by the support nature. It was established that catalyst activities for oxidation of soot are determined by both catalyst nature and composition of gas mixture. The process of the soot oxidation is thought to involve oxygen from the catalyst surface. The higher proportion of weakly bound surface oxygen, the higher was the catalyst activity. An increase in the oxygen concentration from 5% O2/N2 to 15% O2/N2 is shown to lead to a decrease of the temperature of the soot oxidation. The influence of the oxygen concentration on the process of soot oxidation becomes weaker in the presence of water vapor. Results showed that the presence of NO in the gas mixture favors a decrease in the oxidation temperature of the soot, the higher being the nitrogen oxide concentration, the more pronounced effect. Introduction of SO2 in amount of 50 ppm in the gas mixture has no noticeable effect on the process of the soot oxidation. Among the catalysts under study, Fe–Mn–K–O/gamma-Al2O3 is most effective to oxidation of the soot at otherwise identical conditions.  相似文献

With a reaction conducted on model molecules with low amounts of catalysts and at low temperatures (170–225°C), it was shown that esterification is mainly catalyzed by the carboxylic acid groups and by the titanium derivatives; the activity of the other metals can only be seen when the concentration in carboxylic acid groups is low. In the alcoholysis reaction, the activity of Zn, Mn, and (much less) Ti, decreases when the percentage of ester in the reaction medium decreases, whereas it is the opposite with Sb. Moreover, Zn, Mn, and Co are sensitive to trace amounts of carboxylic groups (their activity decreases), whereas Ti is much less affected.  相似文献
