A novel microwave-assisted, highly efficient protocol for the synthesis of hitherto unknown aza-analogues of (-)-Steganacin, a naturally occurring bisbenzocyclooctadiene lignan lactone with potent antileukemic and tubulin polymerization inhibitory activity, has been developed. This work aims at evaluating poly(2,6-diphenyl-p-phenylene oxide) (Tenax TA), in the form of thin films, as an adsorbent material for various analytical applications. The physical properties of the polymer were studied with regard to surface topography, crystal structure, and thermal stability. Films deposited from solution at different substrate temperatures were studied and compared to the granular form of the polymer. It was found that Tenax TA deposited from solution have a different topography compared to their granular counterpart. The films possess a complex phase composition that includes crystalline and amorphous phases. The films showed high thermal stability (400 °C) similar to the granular form. The adsorption performance of the polymer compared to other possible adsorbent films such as polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and layer-by-layer assembled gold nanoparticles (GNPs) were also investigated. Representative volatile organic compound samples were used to compare the adsorption properties of Tenax TA films to that of the granules. 相似文献

A regular multigraph with maximum multiplicity r and degree rs cannot always be factored into r s-regular simple graphs. It is shown, however, that under general conditions a similar factorization can be achieved if we first allow the addition or deletion of a relatively small number of hamilton cycles. The theory of consensus dynamics is widely employed to study various linear behaviors in networked control systems. Moreover,
nonlinear phenomena have been observed in animal groups, power networks and in other networked systems. These observations
inspire the development in this paper of three novel approaches to define distributed nonlinear dynamical interactions. The

Nanomagnetic particles have great potential in the biomedical applications like MRI contrast enhancement, magnetic separation, targeting delivery and hyperthermia. In this paper, we have explored the possibility of biomedical applications of [Fe1−xBxFe2O4, B=Mn, Co] ferrite. Superparamagnetic particles of substituted ferrites [Fe1−xBxFe2O4, B=Mn, Co (x=0–1)] and their fatty acid coated water base ferrofluids have been successfully prepared by co-precipitation technique using NH4OH/TMAH (Tetramethylammonium hydroxide) as base. In vitro cytocompatibility study of different magnetic fluids was done using HeLa (human cervical carcinoma) cell lines. Co2+-substituted ferrite systems (e.g. CoFe2O4) is more toxic than Mn2+-substituted ferrite systems (e.g. MnFe2O4, Fe0.6Mn0.4Fe2O4). The later is as cytocompatible as Fe3O4. Thus, Fe1−xMnxFe2O4 could be useful in biomedical applications like MRI contrast agent and hyperthermia treatment of cancer. 相似文献
