The eddy-current loss is calculated for nonferromagnetic disks in a rotating magnetic field. The power loss is found as a function of the magnetic field intensity, the field rotation velocity, and the disk dimensions. In this paper, sufficient conditions are given for the existence of limiting distribution of a nonhomogeneous countable Markov chain with time-dependent transition intensity matrix. The method of proof exploits the fact that if the distribution of random process Q=(Q t ) t≥0 is absolutely continuous with respect to the distribution of ergodic random process Q°=(Q° t ) t≥0, then $Q_t \xrightarrow[{t \to \infty }]{{law}}\pi $ where π is the invariant measure of Q°. We present results of searches for technirho (rho(T)), techniomega (omega(T)), and Z' particles, using the decay channels rho(T),omega(T),Z'-->e(+)e(-). The search is based on 124.8 pb(-1) of data collected by the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron during 1992-1996. In the absence of a signal, we set 95% C.L. upper limits on the cross sections for the processes pp-->rho(T),omega(T),Z'-->e(+)e(-) as a function of the mass of the decaying particle. For certain model parameters, we exclude the existence of degenerate rho(T) and omega(T) states with masses below about 200 GeV. We exclude a Z' with mass below 670 GeV, assuming that it has the same couplings to fermions as the Z boson. 相似文献

The extraction of tellurium (IV), tin (IV), and indium (III) by aliphatic alcohols and ketones from hydrochloric acid solutions

The kinetics of the liquid-phase hydrogenation of cyclodienes with various structures (endo-tricyclo[ 5.2.1.02,6]decadiene-3,8 and cis,cis-1,5-cyclooctadiene) by hydrogen over a finely dispersed 1%Pd/C catalyst at atmospheric pressure has been studied. The catalyst provides the possibility for successive saturation of the double bonds of the dienes. The reactivities of the cyclodienes determined by their electron-donating properties have been compared. The solvent nature is the determining factor in the ratio of hydrogen absorption rates in the case of successive saturation of the double bonds of the hydrocarbons. The hydrogenation kinetics of cyclic dienes, including dicyclopentadiene, can be modeled using the Langmuir–Hinshelwood equation when the process is carried out in a perfectly mixed flow reactor. 相似文献

A study is made of the process of weak evaporation (or condensation) with allowance for excitation of vibrational and rotational degrees of freedom of diatomic molecules. The solution to the corresponding Knudsen layer problem is obtained on the basis of a model kinetic equation of the type of the Morse equation [1]. A relation is obtained that establishes the connection between the rate of evaporation (or condensation) and the parameters of the surface and the gas above it. The boundary conditions of slip for the equations of gas dynamics are analyzed. The results are compared with the evaporation or condensation in the case of a monatomic gas.
