The double row layout problem is how to allocate a given set of n machines on both sides of a straight line corridor so that the total cost of transporting materials between machines is minimized. This is a very difficult combinatorial optimization problem with important applications in industry. We formulate the problem as a mixed-integer program. Computational tests show that the proposed formulation presents a far superior performance than that of a previously published model.  相似文献

A series of anthraquinone (C(14)O(2)H(8)) derivatives has been studied by means of electron capture negative ion mass spectrometry (ECNI-MS), photoelectron spectroscopy (PES), and AM1 quantum chemical calculations. Mean lifetimes of molecular negative ions M(-.) (MNI) have been measured. The mechanism of long-lived MNI formation in the epithermal energy region of incident electrons has been investigated. A simple model of a molecule (a spherical potential well with the repulsive centrifugal term) has been applied for the analysis of the energy dependence of cross sections at the first stage of the electron capture process. It has been shown that a temporary resonance of MNI at the energy approximately 0.5 eV corresponds to a shape resonance with lifetime 1-2.10(-13) s in the f-partial wave (l = 3) of the incident electron. The next resonant state of MNI at the energy approximately 1.7 eV has been associated with the electron excited Feshbach resonance (whose parent state is a triplet npi* transition). In all cases the initial electron state of the MNI relaxes into the ground state by means of a radiationless transition, and the final state of the MNI is a nuclear excited resonance with a lifetime measurable on the mass spectrometry timescale. The adhesive and rheological properties of model acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) films prepared from high solid emulsions with different particle sizes and distributions have been investigated with a customized probe tack apparatus. For each emulsion, the monomer composition and gel content were kept constant but different average particle sizes and distributions were used. Adhesive films 100 microm thick were then prepared from these emulsions and their rheological properties in the linear regime and adhesive properties were systematically characterized. Surprisingly, both the rheological and adhesive properties were found to be very dependent on the initial latex particle size distribution. A series of experiments were carried out to assess the adhesive properties of films made from blends of small- and large-particle-size latexes. Using the probe tack test, a maximum in adhesion energy of the dry films was found for 60% of small particles in the blend, a composition clearly different from that giving a minimum viscosity of the latex implying that optimizing for properties may not be equivalent to optimizing for processing in these adhesive applications. Finally, the adhesive properties of two multimodal latexes with different particle size distributions were investigated. Both gave significantly higher adhesion energies and clear evidence of a fibrillar detachment process. This important result suggests that the spatial distribution of gel domains in the dry film and the molecular connectivity between those gel domains also play an important role in controlling its adhesive properties.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of scheduling jobs in uniform parallel machines with sequence-dependent setup times in order to minimize the total tardiness relative to job due dates. We propose GRASP versions that incorporate adaptive memory principles for solving this problem. Long-term memory is used in the construction of an initial solution and in a post-optimization procedure which connects high quality local optima by means of path relinking. Computational tests are carried out on a set of benchmark instances and the proposed GRASP versions are compared with heuristic methods from the literature.  相似文献

The effects of Kr post-bombardment on carbonitrides produced by N-implantation in a low carbon steel are studied by means of conversion electron Mössbauer spectroscopy, nuclear reaction analysis and Rutherford backscattering technique. The results show two main features: dissolution and reprecipitation of the produced carbonitrides and modification of the thermal behaviour of the precipitates. Recently we have performed similar experiments bombarding samples of the same steel with He and Ar. Comparison of the experiments shows that irradiation with Ar or Kr ions provides the best retention of carbonitrides at 450° C. On the other hand irradiation with Kr ions to the same dpa level is most effective in producing the dissolution and reprecipitation process.  相似文献

The crude ethanol extracts from the leaves of three Croton hemiargyrus hemiargyreus plants are fractionated by thin-layer chromatography, yielding five fractions. The fractions and the crude extract are analyzed by high-temperature high-resolution gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (HT-HRGC-MS). Several natural products, including thermolabile components, can be characterized directly in the samples, such as alkaloids, terpenes, flavonoids, acids, alcohols, etc. The cold on-column technique proves to be appropriate for the injection of these thermolabile compounds. HT-HRGC-MS is shown to be a valuable tool and an alternative technique to classical phytochemical procedures for the simple and fast routine analysis of natural products in crude extracts.  相似文献
