The metal content of Colorado potato beetles elytra in Turkey was determined using the energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence method. A radioisotope excited X-ray fluorescence analysis using the method of standard addition is applied for the elemental analysis of Colorado potato beetles elytra. An annular 241Am radioactive source and an annular 55Fe radioactive source were used for excitation of characteristic K X-rays. An Si(Li) detector which has a full-width at half-maximum for photons was used for intensity measurements. The procedure of sample preparation and the results of analysis were presented.  相似文献

The relaxation in protein solutions has mainly been studied by nuclear magnetic relaxation dispersion (NMRD) techniques. NMRD data have mostly been analyzed in terms of fast chemical exchange of water between free water and water bound to proteins. Several approaches were used for the estimation of correlation time modulating the relaxation mechanism of bound water. On the other hand, in a nuclear magnetic resonance experiment, the relaxation rates of protein solutions (1/T1 and 1/T2) and also those of free water (1/T1f and 1/T2f) are measurable. However, the relaxation rates of bound water (1/T1b and 1/T2b) are not. Despite this, equating (1/T1-1/T1f)/2(1/T2-1/T2f) to (1/T1b)/2(1/T2b) leads to an expression involving only an effective tau that is related to the rotational correlation time (tau r) of proteins. Equating the ratios may therefore give a simple alternative method for the determination of tau r even if this method is limited to a single resonance frequency. In this work, a formula was derived for the solution of the effective tau. Then, the 1/T1 and 1/T2 in solutions of two globular proteins (lysozyme and albumin) and one nonglobular protein (gamma-globulin) were measured for different amounts of each protein. Next, the values of 1/T1 and 1/T2 were plotted vs. protein concentrations, and then the slopes of the fits were used in the derived equation for determining the effective tau values. Finally, the rotational correlation time tau r, calculated from tau, was used in the Stokes-Einstein relation to reproduce relevant radii. The effective tau values of lysozyme, albumin and gamma-globulin were found to be 5.89 ns, 7.03 ns and 8.8 ns, respectively. tau r values of albumin and lysozyme produce their Stokes radii. The present data suggest that use of the measurable ratio in the derived formula may give a simple way for the determination of the correlation times of lysozyme and albumin.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this study a practical method for the spectral analysis of some overlapped characteristic X-ray peaks is presented. The overlapped characteristic K, and K, peaks and the artificially overlapped two K, peaks (peak doublet) of arsenic obtained by the radioisotope-excited, energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) technique, are resolved. A total of 34 overlapped peak systems were investigated: the proposed method provided 18 reliable results, whereas the first and the second methods gave 15 and 1, respectively. The intensity ratios of Kβ/Kα, obtained by the novel method are also in good agreement with the theoretical relativistic Hartree-Slater values.  相似文献

This article experimentally and numerically analyzes the effect of turbulators with different geometries (Type I, Type II, Type III, and Type IV) located at the inlet of the inner pipe in a concentric-type heat exchanger. Experiments were performed at parallel-flow conditions in the same and opposite directions to investigate the impact of manufactured turbulators on heat transfer and pressure drop. In the numerical study, ANSYS 12.0 Fluent code program was used, and basic protection equations were solved in the steady-state, three-dimensional, and turbulence-flow conditions. Results were obtained from numerical analysis conducted at different flow values of air (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 m3/h). The distribution of temperature, velocity, and pressure was demonstrated as a result of numerical analyses. Experimental and numerical results were compared, and it was observed that they were in conformity with each other. When the data obtained from the analyses were examined, the highest heat transfer, pressure drop, and friction factor increase were detected to be in the Type IV turbulator.  相似文献

The method of matrix Green’s functions in the classical theory of electromagnetic waves is stated. This method allows to obtain a closed equation system in the presence of the random media for the calculation both coherent, and incoherent (fluctuating) components of radiation. The density and heterogeneity of scattering media can be arbitrary. The coherent channel is calculated independently. The fluctuating radiation distribution in the medium is developed initially by an interference pattern generated by the coherent channel. The limitations of the processes speed are absent. The theory embraces such phenomena as the boson peak, flickering noise, memory effect, backscattering processes and also conventional radiative transfer equation and Fresnel’s formulae.  相似文献

This article covers the analytical solution of the discretized radiative transfer equation in the matrix form. The equation is discretized according to the discrete ordinates method. The solution is based on the representation of the light field in a scattering medium as a superposition of an anisotropic and a smooth regular parts. The first of them is calculated analytically using the smoothness of the solution angular spectrum. The regular part is obtained from a radiative transfer equation boundary problem with the anisotropic part as a source function by discrete ordinates method with a scaling transformation and a matrix-operator method applied. There is no limitation of the scattering law in a medium.  相似文献

In this study, we describe systematic preparation of a series of aryl-substituted pyridine derivatives. The 1,5-dicarbonyls (3a–i) were prepared in the solvent-free conditions starting from chalcone derivatives (1a–i). The target compounds, 4-aryl-2-(thiophen-3-yl)-6,7-dihydro-5H-cyclopenta[b]-pyridine derivatives (5a–i), were synthesized by a cyclization reaction of the 1,5-dicarbonyls (3a–i) with ammonium acetate (NH4OAc) in acetic acid. The characterization of synthesized compounds was proved by elemental analyses, infrared, mass spectrometry, and 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy.
