The push-pull characters of a large series of donor-acceptor substituted azo dyes—71 structures in all—have been quantified by the NN double bond lengths, dNN, the 15N NMR chemical shift differences, Δδ15N, of the two nitrogen atoms and the quotient, π∗/π, of the occupations of the antibonding π∗, and bonding π orbitals of this partial NN double bond. The excellent correlation of the occupation quotients with the bond lengths strongly infers that both π∗/π and dNN are excellent parameters for quantifying charge alternation in the push-pull chromophore and the molecular hyperpolarizability, β0, of these compounds. By this approach, selected compounds can be appropriately considered as viable candidates for nonlinear optical (NLO) applications. 相似文献

A range of 2,9‐perfluoroalkyl‐substituted tetraazaperopyrene (TAPP) derivatives ( 1 – 5 ) was synthesised by reacting 4,9‐diamino‐3,10‐perylenequinone diimine (DPDI) with the corresponding carboxylic acid chloride or anhydride in the presence of a base. The reaction of compounds 1 – 4 with dichloroisocyanuric acid (DIC) in concentrated sulphuric acid resulted in the fourfold substitution of the tetraazaperopyrene core, yielding the 2,9‐bisperfluoroalkyl‐4,7,11,14‐tetrachloro‐1,3,8,10‐tetraazaperopyrenes 6 – 9 , respectively. The optical and electrochemical data demonstrate the drastic influence of the core substitution on the properties. All compounds are highly luminescent (fluorescence quantum yields of up to Φ=0.8). The LUMO energies of the tetrachlorinated TAPP derivatives (determined by cyclic voltammetry and computed by DFT calulations) were found to be below ?4 eV. In the course of this work the performance of TAPP derivatives in organic thin‐film transistors (TFTs) was investigated, and their n‐channel characteristics with field‐effect mobilities of up to 0.14 cm2 V?1 s?1 and an on/off current ratio of >106 were confirmed. Long‐term stabilities of 3–4 months under ambient conditions of the devices were established. Complementary inverters and ring oscillators with n‐channel TFTs based on compound 8 and p‐channel TFTs based on dinaphtho‐[2,3‐b:2′,3′‐f]thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene (DNTT) were fabricated on a glass substrate. 相似文献

A new and solvent‐free process for the fabrication of inkjet printed ionic liquid‐polymer gel microstructures with high‐resolution (line widths of ~40 μm), good electrical conductivity (5–30 mS cm?1), optical transparency, and mechanical flexibility is presented. Carrying out the printing and polymerization process in nitrogen atmosphere eliminates the inhibiting influence of oxygen and guarantees homogeneously gelled structures. Careful selection and combination of ionic liquids (ILs) and unsaturated monomers makes it possible to achieve low viscosities which are printable with commercially available inkjet printers and printheads without adding extra solvents. By using different types and amounts of ILs and monomers the resulting properties of the printed IL‐polymer gels can be controlled in terms of ionic conductivity, optical transmission, and mechanical flexibility. Higher conductivities are possible by using a bifunctional instead of a monofunctional monomer, which allows one to lower the amount of monomer without loss in mechanical strength. Cast samples make it possible to obtain data of transmission (~90% for 170‐μm thick films) and mechanical flexibility (E = 0.02–0.23 MPa) of bulk material. Comparing electrical conductivity of printed and cast samples, the higher values of printed samples indicate the conductivity enhancing influence of moisture absorbed from the surrounding atmosphere after the fabrication process. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Four new cyclic lipopeptides, cyclo-(AFA-Ser-Gln-Asn-Tyr-Asn-Ser-Thr), named cyclodysidins A–D, were isolated from the broth culture of Streptomyces strain RV15 associated with the marine sponge Dysidea tupha. The sequences of the amino acid building blocks in the compounds and their structures were determined by 1D- and 2D-NMR techniques and CID-MS/MS experiments. The absolute configurations of all α-amino acids were determined by HPLC analysis after derivatization with Marfey’s reagent and comparison with commercially available reference samples, while those two of the β-amino fatty acids were determined by using racemic and enantiopure reference samples synthetically prepared. 相似文献

A recently developed and validated method for simultaneous determination of 17 inorganic and organic arsenic compounds in marine biota has been successfully applied to routine analysis of different food products, including fish, shellfish, edible algae, rice, and other types of grain. During one year, approximately 250 food samples were analyzed, mostly fish and rice. Long-term stability and robustness of the system was observed and reproducible results for certified reference materials were ensured by means of control charts. The separation was performed by ion-pair chromatography on an anion-exchange column to separate anionic, neutral, and cationic arsenic species in one chromatographic run. Hyphenation to ICP–MS allowed element-specific and sensitive detection of the different arsenic species with a detection limit as low as 8 ng As L–1 in the sample extract, which is equivalent to 2 ng As g–1 in the original sample. Special emphasis was laid on the analysis of marine algae and rice samples. These food types can contain elevated levels of the very toxic inorganic arsenic species (up to 90% in rice) and therefore are the focus of interest in the food industry. Cyclic Phosphidostannate(III) Anions [Sn12P24]36– in Sr3[Sn2P4] The metallic lustrous, air sensitive compound Sr3[Sn2P4] was prepared from melts of mixtures of the elements. Sr3[Sn2P4] crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Cmca (a = 2510,4(9), b = 1259,3(6), c = 1869,3(8), Z = 24). In the anionic partial structure six moieties [Sn2P6] isostructural to Si2Cl6 are linked by each four common P-ligands forming cyclic units [Sn12P24]36–. The strontium cations are octahedrally coordinated by P. The arrangement can be described as a distorted cubic close packing of P3– in which in an ordered manner 3/4 of the octahedral vacancies are occupied by Sr2+ and 1/4 by Sn2-dumbbells. 相似文献
