We compute the width and shape of the EPR and tunneling resonances due to dislocations in Mn12 acetate crystals. Uncorrelated dislocations produce the Gaussian shape of resonances while dislocations bound in pairs produce the Lorentzian shape. We stress that the uniaxial spin Hamiltonian together with crystal defects can explain the totality of experimental data on Mn12. The Constraint Molecular Dynamics approach is illustrated together with calculation on different heavy ion collisions. In particular the charge-mass distribution produced in the collision 124Sn + 64Ni and 112Sn + 58Ni at 35 MeV/nucleon is discussed. By comparing the Y = (N ? Z)/A distributions for fragments produced in central collisions it results that this observable can be sensitive to the dynamic effects induced on the two systems by the different charge/mass ratio.  相似文献

The transversally inhomogeneous cross-section of the model is constructed from the data obtained by Retzius, Hardesty, Wever, and Miller. The nanocrystal samples of titanium dioxide doped with europium ion (Eu3+/TiO2 nanocrystal) are synthesized by the sol-gel method with hydrothermal treatment. The Eu3+ contents (molar ratio) in the samples are 0, 0.5%, 1%, 2%, 3% and 4%. The X-ray diffraction, UV-Vis spectroscopy data and scanning electron microscope image show that crystallite size is reduced by the doping of Eu3+ into TiO2. Comparing the Raman spectra of TiO2 with Eu3+/TiO2 (molar ratio Eu3+/TiO2=1%, 2% and 4%) nanocrystals at different annealing temperatures indicates that the anatase-to-rutile phase transformation temperatures of Eu3+/TiO2 nanocrystals are higher than that of TiO2. This is due to the formation of Eu-O-Ti bonds on the surface of the TiO2 crystallite, as characterized by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The photoluminescence spectra of TiO2 in Eu3+/TiO2 nanocrystals are interpreted by the surface self-trapped and defect-trapped exciton relaxation. The photoluminescence of Eu3+ in Eu3+/TiO2 nanocrystals has the strongest emission intensity at 2% of Eu3+ concentration.  相似文献

The Fermi surface anisotropy of (Bi1?x Sbx)2Te3 single crystals (0.25 ≤ x ≤ 1) was studied by analyzing the angular dependence of the frequency of Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations and the effect of tin and silver doping on the thermoelectric power in these crystals in the temperature range 77 ≤ T ≤ 300 K. It was shown that silver doping of (Bi1?x Sbx)2Te3 mixed crystals produces acceptors, while silver in Bi2Te3 acts as a donor. Tin also exhibits acceptor properties. Both tin and silver doping of p-(Bi1?x Sbx)2Te3 mixed crystals decrease the thermoelectric power due to an increase in the hole concentration.  相似文献

The permittivity of an amorphous insulator consisting of several types of molecules is found. The concepts of polarizability averaged over molecule types and of polarizability fluctuation are introduced, which, when taken into consideration, impart dispersive properties to the permittivity of the medium. It is shown that, near the frequencies at which the average polarizability vanishes, the permittivity depends on the average quadratic fluctuation of the molecular polarizability. Anomalous electromagnetic waves in these frequency intervals are considered.  相似文献

Summary We study the integration theory for general integral metrics when restricted to upper integrals q, finding improvements in the relation between the classes of the q-integrable and the ql-integrable functions. We give new results and notions which lead to the desirable characterizations of q-integrable functions as ql-integrable f with q(|f|) < ∞, and of ql-integrable functions via the integrability of their upper truncations, under natural conditions which are fulfilled in most finitely additive integration theories.  相似文献

Off-the-shell anomalous factors of the two-body Coulomb transition matrices appear in the integral form of the Faddeev second-order nuclear-electronic amplitude, for proton-hydrogen charge transfer scattering in a typical nlmnlm′ transition. A symmetric-impulse approximation (SIA) is applied to eliminate these factors and an induction method is proposed to analytically calculate the remaining integrals. The nuclear-electronic amplitude is derived for the general case, and for totally symmetric collisions, in terms of generalized hypergeometric functions of two variables, F 4, and of one variable, 3 F 2, respectively. The angular distribution of the second-order nuclear-electronic charge transfer amplitude shows the Thomas mechanism as a peak or a hump for symmetric and asymmetric collisions. There also exists a peak in the forward angular distribution of the second-order nuclear-electronic amplitude, which partly cancels the kinematic peak in the angular distribution of the charge transfer differential cross sections.  相似文献
