The spectrum of nitrous oxide dimer was investigated by constructing new potential energy surfaces using coupled-cluster theory and solving the rovibrational Schro?dinger equation with a Lanczos algorithm. Two four-dimensional (rigid monomer) global ab initio potential energy surfaces (PESs) were made using an interpolating moving least-squares (IMLS) fitting procedure specialized to describe the interaction of two linear fragments. The first exploratory fit was made from 1646 CCSD(T)/3ZaP energies. Isomeric minima and connecting transition structures were located on the fitted surface, and the energies of those geometries were benchmarked using complete basis set (CBS) extrapolations, counterpoise (CP) corrections, and explicitly correlated (F12b) methods. At the geometries tested, the explicitly correlated F12b method produced energies in close agreement with the estimated CBS limit. A second fit to 1757 data at the CCSD(T)-F12b/VTZ-F12 level was constructed with an estimated fitting error of less than 1.5?cm(-1). The second surface has a global nonpolar O-in minimum, two T-shaped N-in minima, and two polar minima. Barriers between these minima are small and some wave functions have amplitudes in several wells. Low-lying rovibrational wave functions and energy levels up to about 150?cm(-1) were computed on the F12b PES using a discrete variable representation/finite basis representation method. Calculated rotational constants and intermolecular frequencies are in very close agreement with experiment.  相似文献

Two new ligand derivatives of ferrocene, namely N-4-[3,5-di-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazoyl]ferrocene carbimine (L1) and N-4-[3,5-di-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazoyl]ferrocene carbamide (L2), were synthesised in good yields by reacting the known compound 3,5-di-pyridine-2-yl-[1,2,4]triazol-4-ylamine (1) with ferrocenecarbaldehyde and chlorocarbonyl ferrocene, respectively. The structures of L1 and L2 were determined by X-ray crystallography. The complexation of L1 and L2 with CuI, AgI, ZnII and CdII was studied by NMR and UV-vis spectroscopies, as well as by electrochemistry, with titrations used to determine metal:ligand stoichiometries. The cyclic voltammograms of L1 and L2 and their respective complexes indicated reversible one-electron transfers corresponding to the Fc0/+ redox couple (Fc = ferrocene), with formal electrode potentials shifting to more positive values upon metal complexation.  相似文献

A method for 4-methylimidazole (4MI) extraction and quantitation in body fluids and forage samples was developed. The procedures involve ion-pair extraction of the compound with the quantitation done by ion-pair liquid chromatography. The results indicate that this high-performance liquid chromatographic method is sensitive, reproducible and more rapid than others that have been previously used. The mean recovery of 4MI from plasma and tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea) hay samples were above 95 and 85%, respectively. The versatility of the procedure makes it suitable for the determination of 4MI in body fluids and in forage samples.  相似文献

The arrangement of discrete screw dislocations piled-up under the action of a uniform applied stress against the welded interface between different elastically isotropic half-spaces has been determined by representing the pile-up as a continuous distribution of infinitesimal dislocations. The dislocation slip plane is inclined at an arbitrary angle 12 to the normal to the interface, assuming a to be a rational number. The singular integral equation expressing the condition for static equilibrium of the dislocations under a constant applied stress is solved by a method based on the Wiener-Hoph technique with the Mellin transform, and from this solution the mean density of dislocations and the stress field of the pile-up are determined.  相似文献

The adsorption of the lactonic (LS) and acidic (AS) forms of sophorolipid and their mixtures with the anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (LAS) has been measured at the air/water interface by neutron reflectivity, NR. The AS and LS sophorolipids adsorb with Langmuir-like adsorption isotherms. The more hydrophobic LS is more surface active than the AS, with a lower critical micellar concentration, CMC, and stronger surface adsorption, with an area/molecule ~70 ?(2) compared with 85 ?(2) for the AS. The acidic sophorolipid shows a maximum in its adsorption at the CMC which appears to be associated with a mixture of different isomeric forms. The binary LS/AS and LS/LAS mixtures show a strong surface partitioning in favor of the more surface active and hydrophobic LS component but are nevertheless consistent with ideal mixing at the interface. In contrast, the surface composition of the AS/LAS mixture is much closer to the solution composition, but the surface mixing is nonideal and can be accounted for by regular solution theory, RST. In the AS/LS/LAS ternary mixtures, the surface adsorption is dominated by the sophorolipid, and especially the LS component, in a way that is not consistent with the observations for the binary mixtures. The extreme partitioning in favor of the sophorolipid for the LAS/LS/AS (1:2) mixtures is attributed to a reduction in the packing constraints at the surface due to the AS component. Measurements of the surface structure reveal a compact monolayer for LS and a narrow solvent region for LS, LS/AS, and LS/LAS mixtures, consistent with the more hydrophobic nature of the LS component. The results highlight the importance of the relative packing constraints on the adsorption of multicomponent mixtures, and the impact of the lactonic form of the sophorolipid on the adsorption of the sophorolipid/LAS mixtures.  相似文献

The 1,2-HX elimination reaction (where X = F, Cl, Br, OH) has been established as an important reaction in the degradation of compounds introduced into the upper atmosphere, including common CFC replacement compounds. By analyzing the electron densities of the transition state geometries of these reactions using QTAIM, we see that we can divide these reactions into two types. For HF and HOH elimination, the transition state is a complete ring of bonds, and neither the C-H nor the C-X bonds have been broken at the maximum of energy. There is very little accumulation of electron density on the X atom, with the majority of charge being lost by the hydrogen atom undergoing elimination, being transferred on to the two carbon atoms. In HCl and HBr elimination, a similar loss of electron density of the hydrogen atom is accompanied by significant accumulation of electron density on the X atom and a smaller change in electron density on the carbon atoms. The C-X bond is broken in the transition state geometry, with no ring critical point being present. This may explain the relative stabilities of halohydrocarbons and haloalcohols with respect to loss of H-X.  相似文献
