A polyclonal antibody against trinitrophenyl (TNP) derivatives was raised in rabbit, and the antibody was applied to detection of trinitrotoluene (TNT) using a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor. TNP-keyhole limpet hemocyanine (TNP-KLH) conjugate was injected into a rabbit, and a polyclonal anti-TNP antibody was realized after purification of the sera using protein G. Aspects of the anti-TNP antibody against various nitroaromatic compounds, such as cross-reactivities and affinities, were characterized. The temperature dependence of the affinity between the anti-TNP antibody and TNT was also evaluated. The quantification of TNT was based on the principle of indirect competitive immunoassay, in which the immunoreaction between the TNP-β-alanine-ovalbumin (TNP-β-ala-OVA) and anti-TNP antibody was inhibited in the presence of free TNT in solution. TNP-β-ala-OVA was immobilized to the dextran matrix on the Au surface by amine coupling. The addition of a mixture of free TNT to the anti-TNP antibody was found to decrease the incidence angle shift due to the inhibitory effect of TNT. The immunoassay exhibited excellent sensitivity for the detection of TNT in the concentration range of 3 × 10−11 to 3 × 10−7 g/ml. To increase the sensitivity of the sensor, anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used. After flowing the mixture of free TNT and anti-TNP antibody, anti-rabbit IgG antibody was injected, and the incidence angle shift was measured. Photochemical ligand substitution of fac-[Re(X2bpy)(CO)3(PR3)]+ (X2bpy = 4,4'-X2-2,2'-bipyridine; X = Me, H, CF3; R = OEt, Ph) with acetonitrile quantitatively gave a new class of biscarbonyl complexes, cis,trans[Re(X2bpy)(CO)2(PR3)(MeCN)]+, coordinated with four different kinds of ligands. Similarly, other biscarbonylrhenium complexes, cis,trans-[Re(X2bpy)(CO)2(PR3)(Y)]n+ (n = 0, Y = Cl-; n = 1, Y = pyridine, PR'3), were synthesized in good yields via photochemical ligand substitution reactions. The structure of cis,trans-[Re(Me2bpy)(CO)2[P(OEt)3](PPh3)](PF6) was determined by X-ray analysis. Crystal data: C38H42N2O5F6P3Re, monoclinic, P2(1/a), a = 11.592(1) A, b = 30.953(4) A, c = 11.799(2) A, V = 4221.6(1) A3, Z = 4, 7813 reflections, R = 0.066. The biscarbonyl complexes with two phosphorus ligands were strongly emissive from their 3MLCT state with lifetimes of 20-640 ns in fluid solutions at room temperature. Only weak or no emission was observed in the cases Y = Cl-, MeCN, and pyridine. Electrochemical reduction of the biscarbonyl complexes with Y = Cl- and pyridine in MeCN resulted in efficient ligand substitution to give the solvento complexes cis,trans-[Re(X2bpy)(CO)2(PR3)(MeCN)]+. 相似文献

A potentiometric titration method is described for the determination of anionic polyelectrolytes using a marker anion and a plasticized poly (vinyl chloride) membrane electrode sensitive to this marker anion. A solution of an anionic polyelectrolyte, such as potassium poly (vinyl sulfate) (PVSK) added the marker ion has been titrated with a solution of poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (Cat-floc). The end-point has been detected as a sharp potential change due to the rapid decrease in the concentration of the marker ion caused by its association with the titrant, Cat-floc. The sharpness of the endpoint of the titration curve has been compared for several marker ions and the dodecylbenzenesulfonate ion was found to be the best among the marker anions studied. 相似文献

The effect of exchanged ions on the thermal stability of Nafion N117CS membranes was investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermomechanical analysis (TMA), and ion exchange capacity determinations. The ion exchange of alkaline metal ions was effective in improving the thermal stability of the Nafion N117CS membrane. Findings reveal that when Nafion was exchanged for cations with a larger ionic radius, the membrane attained superior thermal stability. On the other hand, we confirmed that the Na-exchange Nafion N117CS membrane possessed a distinctive degree of thermal stability among the alkaline ion-exchange Nafions, although the order of ionic radii is K > Na > Li. Thermal stability improved the most when the Nafion membrane was exchanged for alkaline ions, followed by divalent ions, then trivalent ions. As for the Nafion membrane when it was exchanged for divalent ions or trivalent ions, Nafion following the ion exchange had a thermal stability proportional to an increase in the ionic radius of the cation. This stability may be explained by the reduction of water content and a greater interaction between the sulfonate groups and the cations with larger ionic radii. Since the Al cations acted as a Lewis acid center, the decomposition of the ether bonds of the perfluoroalkylether pendant-chains of the Nafion membrane was observed for the Nafion N117CS membrane that had been exchanged for Al ions. The activation of molecular mobility in Nafion was observed between the decomposition stages of the loss of water and the loss of sulfonic groups. The temperature of activation of cation-exchange Nafion became much higher than that of Nafion in an acid form. 相似文献

An optical system has been proposed and verified experimentally for monitoring the torsion of a power transmission shaft in realtime. The system consists of a pair of lasers, mirrors and light receivers as a sensor head, and logic circuit, high-frequency oscillator, and computer as a data processing system. The smallest measurable angle of torsion can be expressed by ω/f, where ω is the rotational frequency of the power transmission shaft and f is the frequency of the oscillator. High compression strength and high ductility spherical nanoballs were produced by electric arc discharge with a carbon electrode containing silicon, oxygen, potassium, and sodium. Compression tests of the nanoballs were conducted by application of a load to nanoballs inserted between two polished sample stages with nanolevel surface roughness.
