An optical technique for precise, non-contact, and real time measurement of silicon wafer temperature that uses the polarized reflectivity ratio Rp/Rs is described. The proposed method is based on temperature dependence of the optical functions of silicon. Expected strong temperature sensitivity is obtained near band gap. Simultaneous monitoring of temperature and oxide layer thickness is discussed using measurements at four wavelength 365 nm, 405 nm, 546 nm, and 820 nm.  相似文献

Distributions of radiocaesium (134Cs and 137Cs) derived from the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant (FNPP1) accident in the North Pacific Ocean in the summer of 2012 were investigated. We have estimated the radiocaesium inventory in the surface layer using the optimal interpolation analysis and the subducted amount into the central mode water (CMW) by using vertical profiles of FNPP1-134Cs and mass balance analysis as the first approach. The inventory of the 134Cs in the surface layer in the North Pacific Ocean in August–December 2012 was estimated at 5.1?±?0.9 PBq on 1 October 2012, which corresponds to 8.6?±?1.5 PBq when it was decay corrected to the date of the FNPP1 accident, 11 March 2011. It was revealed that 56?±?10% of the released 134Cs into the North Pacific Ocean, which was estimated at 15.3?±?2.6 PBq, transported eastward in the surface layer in 2012. The amount of 134Cs subducted in the CMW was estimated to be 2.5?±?0.9 PBq based on the mass balance among the three domains of the surface layer, subtropical mode water, and CMW.  相似文献

In 2008, we reported a new class of macrocyclic hosts and named “Pillar[5]arenes”. They combine the advantages and aspects of traditional hosts and have a composition similar to those of typical calix[n]arenes. Pillar[5]arenes have repeating units connected by methylene bridges at the para-position, and thus they have a unique symmetrical pillar architecture differing from the basket-shaped structure of meta-bridged calix[n]arenes. Pillar[5]arenes show high functionality similar to cyclodextrins, and can capture electron accepting guest molecules within their cavity similarly to cucurbit[n]urils. In this review, the synthesis, structure, rotation, host–guest properties, planar chirality and functionality of pillar[5]arenes are discussed, along with pillar[5]arene-based supramolecular architectures and the challenges in synthesizing pillar[6]arenes.  相似文献

This study describes the facile synthesis of platinum nanoparticle-containing porous carbons (Pt/C) by carbonization of freeze-dried agarose gels containing potassium tetrachloroplatinate under a nitrogen atmosphere at 800 °C. By adjusting the ratio between agarose and platinate in the freeze-dried gels, the Pt content in the final Pt/C products could be systematically varied from 0–10 wt.%. Transmission electron microscopy, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and nitrogen physisorption measurements revealed that the Pt/C materials obtained by this method possess high surface areas (350–500 m2 g−1), narrow Pt nanoparticle size distributions (6 ± 3 nm) and nanocrystalline graphite –like carbon character. By immobilization of glucose oxidase on the surface of a 4 wt.% Pt/C electrocatalyst prepared by this route, a very sensitive amperometric glucose biosensor was obtained (response time <2 min, sensitivity 1.9 mA M−1; and a linear response with glucose concentration up to 10 mM). The simplicity and versatility of the described synthetic method suggests its application to the preparation of carbon supported noble metal catalysts including palladium/C and gold/C.

Reductive metalation of [44]decaphyrin with [Pd2(dba)3] provided a Hückel aromatic [46]decaphyrin PdII complex, which was readily oxidized upon treatment with DDQ to produce a Hückel antiaromatic [44]decaphyrin PdII complex. In CH2Cl2 solution the latter complex underwent slow tautomerization to a Möbius aromatic [44]decaphyrin PdII complex which exists as a mixture of conformers in dynamic equilibrium. To the best of our knowledge, these three PdII complexes represent the largest Hückel aromatic, Hückel antiaromatic, and Möbius aromatic complexes to date.  相似文献

Plutonium isotopes in the Sea of Japan were determined to assess radioactive contamination. Concentrations of 239,240Pu in surface water of the Sea of Japan were maintained at a constant level over the past two decades in contrast to 137Cs. A median value of surface 239,240Pu in the Sea of Japan in this period was 5.6 mBq/m3 with the range between 2.1 and 14.0 mBq/m3, which is slightly higher than that in the western North Pacific. The vertical distribution of 239,240Pu showed a surface minimum, a subsurface maximum and gradual decrease with increasing depth. The 241Pu/239,240Pu activity ratios in water columns were almost constant except for surface water. In regard to 239,240Pu in surface water of the Sea of Japan, these findings suggest that rapid recycling of deeper plutonium occurs in the Sea of Japan due to deep convection in winter and biogeochemical processes such as particle scavenging and remineralization.  相似文献

Activated perethylated pillar[5]arene crystals show an unexpected alkane‐shape‐ and ‐length‐selective gate‐opening behavior. Activated crystals were obtained upon removing solvents from perethylated pillar[5]arene crystals by heating. The activated crystals could quantitatively take up n‐alkanes with carbon chains containing more than five carbon atoms as a consequence of their gate‐opening pressure. As the chain length of the n‐alkanes increased, the gate pressure decreased. A transformation into a herringbone structure was induced when n‐hexane was used as a guest. By contrast, cyclic and branched alkanes were not taken up and could not induce a crystal transformation because they were too large to fit in the cavities of the pillar[5]arene. Alkane‐shape‐selective molecular recognition of pillar[5]arenes in the solution state was translated into the vapor/crystal state.  相似文献

It has been reported that repeated phencyclidine (PCP) treatment induces schizophrenia-like behavior in mice. l-Tryptophan (Trp) concentrations in brain tissues of control (n?=?8) and PCP-treated mice (10 mg/kg/day, s.c., 14 days, n?=?10) were determined using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with fluorescence detection. The HPLC method involved pre-column fluorescence derivatization with (R)-(?)-4-(N,N-dimethylaminosulfonyl)-7-(3-isothiocyanatopyrrolidin-1-yl)-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole (DBD-PyNCS). Eight different parts of the brain, namely, the frontal cortex, nucleus accumbens, striatum, hippocampus, amygdala, thalamus, hypothalamus, and cerebellum, of both groups were investigated. A significant decrease in the l-Trp concentration in the nucleus accumbens (p?=?0.024) and hippocampus (p?=?0.027) was observed in PCP-treated mice, suggesting that alteration of the l-Trp metabolism might occur in these brain parts.  相似文献
