In our investigation of bioactive marine natural products, we revisited an ethanolic extract of the New Caledonian sponge Cymbastela cantharella. Four new natural compounds (3-6) were isolated and their structural determinations as dihydrohymenialdisine derivatives were achieved by spectral data analysis and chemical conversion. These products did not show any activity in the Polo Like kinase bioassay, demonstrating thus the importance of the unique structure of hymenialdisine, known as an improved kinase inhibitor. 相似文献

Optical rectification (OR) at the nanoscale has attracted an increasing interest in the prospect of providing efficient ultracompact terahertz (THz) sources. Here, a universal modeling approach capable of addressing both isotropic and anisotropic all-dielectric nonlinear nanomaterials on an ultra-broad spectral range, covering the highly dispersive phonon-polariton window, and different orientations of the crystallographic axes with respect to the geometry of the structure is reported. This analysis is exemplified by considering two study cases, that is, nanopillars of AlGaAs and of LiNbO3. A close comparison between the two cases is established in terms of THz generation efficiency from 4 to 14 THz. Phonon-polariton contributions to the OR process are disentangled from the electronic one, and a model order reduction based on the reciprocity theorem is applied and validated on both the considered configurations. These results, combined with the inspection of the THz near-field features, pave the way to the design and optimization of nonlinear metasurfaces for THz generation and detection at the nanoscale. 相似文献

We investigate a digital method for detecting the velocity of a diffusing object. The technique is based on Digital Speckle Pattern Interferometry (DSPI). A set of reference fringes is generated externally through the reference beam in a digital interferometer. As the object moves, subsequent frames are acquired and subtracted according to the normal DSPI procedure and stored. By means of the theory of first order speckle statistics applied to speckle intensity correlation, we relate the visibility variations in the reference fringes with the object velocity. Thus, by measuring the fringe visibility variation in the resulting DSPI stored frames the mean object velocity can be obtained. The theoretical results are experimentally verified. 相似文献

The aim of this study was to compare different types of dolomites through batch reactivity experiments between HCl and dolomite powders, and ex‐situ characterisation of the particles before and after dissolution. Sedimentary dolomites were observed to have higher initial reactivities than metamorphic ones with sufficiently low calcite concentrations (<6% according to our regression model). In addition, the initial reactivities of the metamorphic dolomites were dependent on calcite concentration and could exceed those of the sedimentary dolomites. A regression model is presented for the dependence of initial reactivity on mineral composition and type of origin (sedimentary/metamorphic). The samples with the highest initial reactivities had also the largest BET (Brunauer, Emmet, Teller) surface areas obtained with nitrogen physisorption. Yet our data indicates that mineral composition of the dolomite has a greater influence on the initial reactivity than the BET surface area. Furthermore, it was found that the surface of sedimentary dolomites, unlike the surface of metamorphic dolomites, becomes porous during dissolution. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献
