Isolation and Structure Elucidation of Autolytimycin, A New Compound Produced by Streptomyces Autolyticus JX-47

In our previous studies on the actinomycete resources in Yunnan Province, we found some strains with potential bioactivities. Streptomyces autolyticus JX-47, a strain producing broad-spectrum antiviral metabolites was studied. A new compound autolytimycin 1, together with the other two known compounds, lebstatin 21 and 17-O-demethyl-geldanamycin 32,3, were isolated from the culture broth. Inclusive production of charged pions in p+p collisions at 158 GeV/c beam momentum

New results on the production of charged pions in p+p interactions are presented. The data come from a sample of 4.8 million inelastic events obtained with the NA49 detector at the CERN SPS at 158 GeV/c beam momentum. Pions are identified by energy loss measurement in a large TPC tracking system which covers a major fraction of the production phase space. Inclusive invariant cross sections are given on a grid of nearly 300 bins per charge over intervals from 0 to 2 GeV/c in transverse momentum and from 0 to 0.85 in Feynman x. The results are compared to existing data in overlapping energy ranges. Arrival of the final proofs: 8 December 2005     

A New Duality Approach to Solving Concave Vector Maximization Problems

We introduce a special class of monotonic functions with the help of support functions and polar sets, and use it to construct a scalarized problem and its dual for a vector optimization problem. The dual construction allows us to develop a new method for generating weak efficient solutions of a concave vector maximization problem and establish its convergence. Some numerical examples are given to illustrate the applicability of the method.

Largely Deformed Dinuclear System Formed in ^19F ＋^27Al Dissipative Collision

Excitation functions are measured for different charge products of the ^19F＋^27AI reaction in the laboratory energy range 110.25-118.75MeV in steps of 250keV at θlab=57°,31° and -29°. The coherence rotation angular velocities of the intermediate dinuclear systems formed in the reaction are extracted from the cross section energy autocorrelation functions. Compared the angular velocity extracted from the experimental data with the ones deduced from the sticking limit, it is indicated that a larger deformation of the intermediate dinuclear system exists.     

Experimental study and theoretical consideration of the isomeric ratio in the photonuclear reaction 197Au(γ, n)196m,g Au in the giant dipole resonance region

We have carried out a study on the isomeric ratio in the ¹⁹⁷Au(γ, n)^196m,g Au photonuclear reaction in a giant dipole resonance region with bremsstrahlungs produced by electron accelerator Microtron MT-25 of the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions, JINR. The isomeric ratio has been determined from a series of gamma spectra measured with a high-energy-resolution gamma spectrometric system consisting of an HPGe detector and a multichannel analyzer. The results have been discussed, compared with those of other authors, as well as considered by the statistical model supposed by Huizenga and Vandenbosch.
