Construction and Analysis of N-phosphoryl Peptide Libraries

N-Phosphoryl peptide libraries were constructed by transformation from homo-oligopeptide libraries, which was synthesized by self-assembly of amino acids with the assistance of phosphorus oxychloride. Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) was used to monitor the reaction.     

Analysis of Hydrolysis Reaction of N-Phosphoryl Phenylalanine by HPLC-ESI-MS／MS

Hydrolysis procedure of N-phosphoryl phenylalanine (DIPP-Phe) was studied by HPLC-ESI-MS/MS. The results showed that (HO)(i-PrO)P(O)Phe was the main intermediate and the hydrolysis of DIPP-Phe also occurred through a penta-coordinate transition state.     

CONCENTRATION, SOURCE OF MANGANESE AND IRON IN FERROMANGANESE NODULES AND THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NODULES AND SEDIMENTARY ENVIRONMENTS IN NORTH PACIFIC REGION

The concentration, source of manganese and iron in ferromanganese nodules and therelation between nodules and sedimentary environments are discussed in detail by asynthetical study on chemical information of ferromanganese nodules and correspondingsediment, pore water and geological, biological (bacteria) information in 26 stations fromthe North Pacific region (7- 13°N, 178- 165°W). The result shows that (i) the concen-tration and distribution characteristics of magnese and iron in ferromanganese nod-ules differ in different types of nodules, however, the concentration decreases with theincrease in grain sizes of nodules; (ii) the source of iron in different types of nodulesis basically the same, i. e. the slow sedimentation of overlying water; (iii) manganesein nodules comes mainly from the diffusion of Mn~(2+) in the pore water, and Mn~(2+) fromthe reduction of Mn~(4+) in sediments by the medium of bacteria. The synthesis and crystal structure of metal complexes S-alkyl-N-(ferrocenyl-1-methyl-methylidene)-dithiocarbazate and the study on their quenching the luminescence ofruthenium(bipyridine)_~3(2+)

The cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc and cadmium complexes of S-methyl-N-(ferrocenyl-l-methyl-methylidene)-dithiocarbazate (H-LSM) and S-benzyl-N-(ferrocenyl-l-methyl-methylidene)-dithiocarbazate (H-LSB) were synthesized and the crystal structure of Cd[Fe-C(CH3) = NNCSS. (CH3)]2 was solved by X-ray diffraction. The crystal is in the orthorhombic system with space group Pbca, cell parameters a=19.741(3), b=19.924(5), c=15.452(4) A, and the final factors of R=0.032. The study on quenching the luminescence of Ru(bpy)3 by those complexes showed that bimolecular quenching constants obtained from the Stern-Vohner constant and the excited-state lifetime were related to the redox potential of the quencher. Linear relationship is shown in the plot of logkq vs. E1/2(Q+/Q). The main factor which influences the quenching rate constant and the redox potential is the coordinating ability of the metal in the complex.     

Functional Mechanism of Resveratrol in Inhabiting Growth of Cells ls174t and Its Mechanism in Subcutaneously Transplanted Tumor of Nude Mice

To explore the functional mechanism of Resveratrol against colon cancer cells Is174t and the growth of colon cancer tissue of tumor-bearing mice,MTT method was used to observe the functions of resveratrol for inhibition against cells ls174t in vitro.Transmission electron microscope was used to observe the cell apoptosis.FCM assay was performed to measure the change of the cell apoptosis rate and of cell cycle,RT-PCR method was used to detect the expressions of bc1-2 and bax mRNA.Western blot method was used to detect the expressions of bc1-2 and bax protein.Cells isi74t were transplanted subcutaneously to nude mice to observe the effect of resveratrol on the growth of subcutaneously transplanted tumor.RT-PCR method was used to detect the expressions of bc1-2 and bax mRNA in the tumor tissue.Western blot method was used to detect the expressions of bc1-2 and bax protein in the tumor tissue.Resveratrol has an effect of inhibiting proliferation of cells ls174t in vitro(P<0.01).It is able to induce the apoptosis of cells Is174t,causing the decrease in the expression of bc1-2 and the increase in the expression of bax.Resveratrol could inhibit the growth of subcutaneously transplanted tumor of nude mice(P<0.05),causing the decrease in the expression of bc1-2 and the increase in the expression of bax.Resveratrol can inhibit the growth of cells 174t and the growth of subcutaneously transplanted tumor.The mechanism is possibly related to the induction of the cell apoptosis and the regulation of bc1-2/bax expression.

A new method for preparing （2Z, 4Z, 6Z）-diethyl-4,5- oxepinedicarboxylates and some 1H-azepine analogues

A new method for preparing (2Z, 4Z, 6Z)-4,5-diethyloxepinodicarboxylate by one-step is described. The synthesis of several oxepines and azepines derivatives was carried out by the reaction of substituted furans or pyrroles with diethyl acetylenedicarbox-ylate in boiling toluene. The effect factors for this reaction were discussed and reaction condition was optimized.
