The experimental measurements show that the state of the ionosphere pronouncedly affects the field of the extremely low frequency (ELF) band in the transition zone. The measurements were performed on the Kola Peninsula at different times of day and in different seasons of 2006. The observed seasonal variations in the results are larger than the diurnal variations. The measured field strength does not tend to the calculated statistical value with decreasing frequency if the effect of the ionosphere is ignored. The possibility of using quasivertical radio sounding of the ionosphere in the ELF band to study the structure and electric parameters of the ionosphere is discussed. 相似文献

The determination of optical characteristics of biological tissues by the temporal distribution of an ultrashort laser pulse
passed through a homogeneous scattering layer is considered. Four nonstationary models used to describe passing of laser pulses
through a highly scattering medium are compared for the first time. The domains of applicability for the diffusion models
are determined. It has been shown that the determination of optical characteristics of highly scattering media by experimental
temporal distributions leads to different numerical values depending on the used model. Nevertheless, any of these models
can be used because the performed study does not permit one to give preference to any of them. However, in determining optical
characteristics of the scattering samples, it is necessary to specify the used model, as well as the conditions under which

We have modeled the 4f 1-5d 1 absorption spectrum of a LiYF4:Ce3+ crystal at zero temperature using a microscopic model of the electron-phonon interaction and the real spectrum of LiYF4 lattice vibrations. Effects caused by mixing of the wave functions of different states of the 5d 1 excited configuration of the Ce3+ ion, which is induced by the electron-phonon interaction, are considered based on the calculations of the second-, third-, and fourth-order exact moments of curvature of the spectrum envelope. We have shown that the large value of the splitting between the maxima of the bands in the absorption spectrum that correspond to transitions to the third and fourth 5d 1 levels is a result of the nonadiabatic interaction of 5d electrons with lattice vibrations. 相似文献

The layer mixing during the formation of the Al70Pd20Re10 icosahedral quasicrystalline phase in thin (55 nm) Al-Pd-Re layered film systems subjected to vacuum annealing has been studied.
It is shown that a combined layer of Pd and Al atoms (with the Al3Pd2 phase dominating) is formed in the first stage (at 350°C), while the rhenium layer remains invariable. In the second annealing
stage (at 450°C), the β′-AlPd phase is formed and the Re layer is diffused. In the third stage (700°C), Pd and Re atoms are
