Two-dimensional (2-D) metal-organic polymer [Zn3(μ2-4,4′-bipy)2(μ2-be)2(be)2(μ2-N3)2]n 1 (4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine, be = benzoate, N3? = azide anion) has been synthesized by low-hot reaction and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analyses, IR spectra and UV–visible spectra. The 2-D structure is built from the linkage of secondary building units of trinuclear [Zn3(μ2-4,4′-bipy)2(μ2-be)2(be)2(μ2-N3)2] clusters by a mixed connector of 4,4′-bipyridine, benzoate and azide. The third-order non-linear optical (NLO) properties of the 1 were also investigated with modulus of the hyperpolarizability (γ) 8.51 × 10?30 esu for 1 in a 3.17 × 10?4 mol dm?3 DMF solution. 相似文献

Printing of high‐resolution three‐dimensional nanostructures utilizing two‐photon polymerization has gained significant attention recently. In particular, isopropyl thioxanthone (ITX) has been implemented as a photoinitiator due to its capability of initiating and depleting polymerization on demand, but new photoinitiating materials are still needed in order to reduce the power requirements for the high‐throughput creation of 3D structures. To address this point, a suite of new thioxanthone‐based photoinitiators were synthesized and characterized. Then two‐photon polymerization was performed using the most promising photoinitiating molecule. Importantly, one of the initiators, 2,7‐bis[(4‐(dimethylamino)phenyl ethynyl)‐9H‐thioxanthen‐9‐one] (BDAPT), showed a fivefold improvement in the writing threshold over the commonly used ITX molecule. To elucidate the fundamental mechanism, the excitation and inhibition behavior of the BDAPT molecule were evaluated using density functional theory (DFT) calculations, low‐temperature phosphorescence spectroscopy, ultra‐fast transient absorption spectroscopy, and the two‐photon Z‐scan spectroscopic technique. The improved polymerization threshold of this new photoinitiator presents a clear pathway for the modification of photoinitiators in 3D nanoprinting. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Three new C21 steroidal glycosides with a cinnamoyl group at C(12) and a 2‐methylbutanoyl group at C(20), and a straight sugar chain at C(3), namely cyanoauriculosides C–E ( 1 – 3 , resp.), together with three known steroidal derivatives, were isolated from the roots of Cynanchum auriculatum (Asclepiadaceae). We report the electrical bistability of cadmium sulfide (CdS) nanoparticles (NPs) capped by dodecanethiol, which are sandwiched between aluminum tris (8-hydroxyquinoline) (Alq3) layers. The current density–voltage (J–V) characteristics of the device with Al/Alq3/CdS NPs/Alq3/Al structures show the high- and low-conducting state at the same voltage, and the two states are reproducible by applying different negative sweeping voltages. The Ohmic model and the space–charge limited model are proposed and supported by the current density–voltage results, which give a possible transport mechanism for the electrical bistability of our devices. 相似文献

Fluoroalkyl methacrylates, 2,2,2‐trifluoroethyl methacrylate ( 1 ), hexafluoroisopropyl methacrylate ( 2 ), 1,1,1,3,3,3‐hexafluoro‐2‐methyl‐2‐propyl methacrylate ( 3 ), and perfluoro t‐butyl methacrylate ( 4 ) were synthesized. Homopolymers and copolymers of these fluoroalkyl methacrylates with methyl methacrylate (MMA) were prepared and characterized. With the exception of the copolymers of MMA and 2,2,2‐trifluoroethyl methacrylate ( 1 ), the glass transition temperatures (Tgs) of the copolymers were found to deviate positively from the Gordon‐Taylor equation. The positive deviation from the Gordon‐Taylor equation could be accounted for by the dipole–dipole intrachain interaction between the methyl ester group and the fluoroalkyl ester group of the monomer units. These Tg values of the copolymers were found to fit with the Schneider equation. The fitting parameters in the Schneider equation were calculated, and R2 values, the coefficients of determination, were almost 1.0. The refractive indices of the copolymers, measured at 532, 633, and 839 nm wavelengths, were lower than that of PMMA and showed a linear relationship with monomer composition in the copolymers. 2 and MMA have a tendency to polymerize in an alternating uniform monomer composition, resulting in less light scattering. This result suggests that the copolymer prepared with an equal molar ratio of 2 and MMA may have useful properties with applications in optical devices. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
