There is a growing interest in optically controlled millimeter wave oscillators. In this paper, we have investigated the external-circuit impedances of an optically controlled millimeter wave subharmonic Gunn diode oscillator, which is illuminated by GaAs/GaAlAs laser beam. The variation of the external-circuit impedances looking outward from the Gunn diode with respect to the optical injection plasma density are calculated based on a field analysis method. The results give some useful conclusions for optically controlled millimeter wave Gunn diode oscillator design. Experimentally an optical tuning frequency shift of 7MHz is achieved at W-band.  相似文献

The atomic density, the buffer gas pressure, and the voltage dependence of the 510.6 nm laser line shape and its temporal evolution emitted from a Cu/CuBr vapor laser are measured. It is found that the monochromaticity of these laser lines can be improved greatly at a relative high buffer gas pressure. The temporal evolution of the line shape offers a stereoscopic view of a laser pulse. The sequence of appearance of the peaks of the line shape is governed by the intensity of the hyperfine component of the copper line.  相似文献

The paraxial and non-paraxial propagation properties of high order axially symmetric polarized beams are theoretically studied. The mathematical expressions of the propagation fields for such beams are derived based on vectorial Rayleigh–Sommerfeld formulas. Simulation results are presented for different dimensionless perturbation parameters, which shows the beam propagation intensity distribution and evolution behavior are affected largely by the polarization property of such beams, especially in the non-paraxial regime.  相似文献

Cathode material LiMn1.95Co0.05O4 for lithium ion battery was synthesized via solid state reaction, and calcination temperature and time were investigated, respectively. Thermogravimetry (TG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA) measurements were utilized to determine the calcination temperature of precursor sample. The optimized calcination temperature and time are 850 °C and 15 h. The surface of LiMn1.95Co0.05O4 cathode is coated using Al2O3 coating materials. The phase structures, surface morphologies, and element types of the prepared LiMn1.95Co0.05O4 and Al2O3-coated LiMn1.95 Co0.05O4 were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and energy spectrum analysis (EDS). The 0.5 wt% Al2O3-coated compound exhibited better specific capacity and capacity retention than bare sample. The initial discharge capacity was 140.9 mAh/g and capacity retention was 96.7 % after 10 cycles at 0.1 C. Such enhancements are attributed to the presence of a stable Al2O3 layer which acts as the interfacial stabilizer on the surface of LiMn1.95Co0.05O4.  相似文献

How to control the material properties by manipulating the unitcell thickness is crucial for applications of ferroelectric ultrathin films. To understand the polarization behaviour of ultrathin PbTiO3 (PTO) films grown on SrTiO3 (STO) substrate, we have systematically explored the strength and direction of polarization in each unitcell layer, using density functional theory combined with Born effective charge method. Strikingly, we find that the polar state of ultrathin PTO films is a composite result depending not only on thickness but also on boundary condition, initial polarization direction, etc. Besides, we also studied the surface effect on the polarization in the thicker PTO films for comparison with the ultrathin ones, which suggests that the surface effect is basically confined in a small range (3–5 unitcells thick at surface region) no matter what kinds of surface terminations and polarization directions.  相似文献

The mobility of self-interstitials in α-zirconium (α-Zr) is studied with molecular dynamic (MD) and molecular static (MS) simulations, using Ackland’s many-body inter-atomic potential. The basal crowdion configuration is found to be the ground state. Four types of diffusion jumps can be identified via MS, in-plane in-line, in-plane off-line, out-of-plane in-line and out-of-plane off-line. The in-plane migration is dominated by one-dimensional crowdion motion along the [110] directions, interrupted from time to time by off-line or out-of-plane jumps. Based on the MS results, the activation energies and pre-exponentials for the diffusion processes are determined by fits to the Arrhenius plots of Dc and Da. The diffusional anisotropy factor Dc/Da is also obtained, and compares well with experimental results. The mean frequency of each type of jumps is then found using Monte Carlo simulation, and is reported as a function of temperature. The mean lifetime and mean free path of the one-dimensional mobility are then obtained. The 1-D mean free path is found to be unimportant for sink separations involved under the usual irradiation damage conditions. We first study the basic coupling and obtain an equation between total variation norm and the basic coupling. Then by use this equation we investigate the ergodicity property of continuous time Markov processes in general state space. For an ergodic continuous-time Markov processes, adding condition π(f) < ∞, by using the coupling method, there exists the full absorption set, such that the continuous time Markov processes are f-ergodic on it. © 2022 Chinese Academy of Sciences. A tunneling-type magnetoresistance (MR) as large as 158% is observed at T = 300 K in a polycrystalline Zn0.41Fe2.59O4 sample, in which the Zn0.41Fe2.59O4 grains are separated by insulating alpha-Fe2O3 boundaries. The huge room-temperature MR is attributed to the high spin polarization of Zn(0.41)Fe(2.59)O4 grains and antiferromagnetic correlations between magnetic domains on both sides of the insulating alpha-Fe2O3 boundary. The MR exhibits strong temperature dependence below 100 K and its magnitude is enhanced to reach 1280% at 4.2 K, which may arise from the Coulomb blockade effect.  相似文献

The levels in 162Gd were identified in spontaneous fission studies. Its transition energies are remarkably similar to those in 160Gd. From that work, an analysis of yrast bands in even-even proton to neutron-rich Ba to Pb nuclei led to the discovery of a new phenomenon, shifted identical bands (SIB). SIBs are yrast bands in neighboring nuclei (a, b) with moments of inertia which are identical when shifted by a constant amount κ, so J 1a (1+κ)=J 1b , from 2+ to 8+ and higher to 16+. Out of over 700 comparisons, 55 SIBs were found from stable to the most neutron-rich Ce-W nuclei with $\left| {\bar k} \right|$ between 1.5% and 13%, where the spread in κ is less than ±1%, and only four identical bands ( $\bar k \cong 0$ ). As examples, we found for 158Sm-160Gd, $\bar k = \left( { - 3.2_{ - 0.2}^{ + 0.1} } \right)\%$ (where the ± is the total spread in κ from ?3.1 to ?3.4); 156Nd-160Gd, (?10.6 ?0.2 +0.4 )%; 158Sm-160Sm, (3.4 ?0.3 +0.5 )%. The J 1 values were fitted to a variable moment of inertia model with parameters J 0 and C whose values correlate with the SIB J 1 values. The SIBs are not correlated either with deformation or with the N p N n product of the IBA model.  相似文献
