We consider the Cauchy problem for first order hyperbolic systems that have characteristic points of higher multiplicity. This means that the determinant of the principal symbol has multiple characteristic points. In the case where, on a multiple characteristic point, the principal symbol has corank 2, we give necessary conditions for the well posedness of the Cauchy problem. These conditions involve a suitably defined noncommutative determinant of the full symbol of the system.  相似文献

The reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography of 8-quinolinethiol (Hqt) complexes of Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Hg and Pb on an octadecyl-bonded silica gel stationary phase was examined. The Pb complex dissociated in the column. The retention and separation of other complexes depended on the composition of the mobile phase. EDTA as an additive displaced the Zn complex and eliminated its peak. All the other metal complexes and also Hqt and its disulphide were separated in 23 min by using methanol-water (82:18, v/v) as the mobile phase. The complexes formed by the reaction of Co(II) and Hqt gave three peaks, which were assigned as fac(S)-CoIII(qt)3, mer(S)-CoIII(qt)3 and CoII(qt)2, respectively. This method is applicable to the simultaneous determination of Fe, Co, Ni, Cu and Hg.  相似文献

The recombinant human thyroid hormone receptor (TR) was expressed as an in-frame fusion with ten consecutive histidine residues using a bacterial system; then the receptor was immobilized on an Au-electrode with Ni(II)-mediated chemisorption using the histidine tag and thiol-modified nitrilotriacetic acid. The receptor-modified electrode could rapidly detect ligand binding to hTR without any separation procedures, and showed a good response in a concentration-dependent manner. The sensitivity of this biosensor based on ligand-receptor interactions was comparable to those of conventional competitive ligand binding assays using radio-labeled ligands. Our results strongly suggest that our new biosensor can be applied to the identification of new ligands for hTR.  相似文献

A new heuristic procedure, which is called Smart Greedy, is proposed for solving a kind of general reliability optimization problems (non-DGR type knapsack problems). Smart Greedy uses Recursive Greedy with multiple greedy functions designated by balance coefficients, generates several solutions and then determines the best solution among them as the smart greedy solution. Recursive Greedy first checks the feasibility of sets of items for a given problem and removes infeasible items from the item sets. Second, the procedure checks the gain ratio of increments of objective function to constraint function and reduces the problem to DGR type problem by invoking LP dominance. Third, the procedure continues to allocate the increments for current items until the constraint is violated. With the current solution, the procedure then repeats the greedy procedure for current items that are added to the items removed by the LP dominance in the previous step.Computational results show that the Smart Greedy is more effective than the previously reported methods.  相似文献

Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) has the sharpest phase transition of the class of thermo-sensitive N-alkyl acrylamide polymers. We developed a new method of HPLC using packing materials modified with cross-linked poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) hydrogel. A temperature-responsive surface was prepared by polymerization of NIPAAm in the presence of a cross-linker on the silica support. The surface properties and functions of the stationary phases change in response to the external temperature. Therefore it easily changes the interaction of a solute with the surface with a constant aqueous mobile phase. A temperature-responsive elution behavior was observed on the separation of steroids and PTH-amino acids. The method is expected to be applicable to separation in the pharmaceutical and biomedical fields.  相似文献

Spherical protein cages such as an iron storage protein, ferritin, have great potential as nanometer-scale capsules to assemble and store metal ions and complexes. We report herein the synthesis of a composite of an apo-ferritin cage and Ru(p-cymene) complexes. Ru complexes were efficiently incorporated into the ferritin cavity without degradation of its cage structure. X-Ray crystallography revealed that the Ru complexes were immobilized on the interior surface of the cage mainly by the coordination of histidine residues.  相似文献

One-color control of colorization/decolorization reactions of diarylethene molecules was attained by using nonresonant high-order multiphoton absorption processes with a near-infrared (NIR) femtosecond laser pulse at 1.28 μm with 35 fs full width at half-maximum (fwhm). The intensity of a rather weak laser pulse (<1 nJ/pulse) can induce the simultaneous three-photon absorption leading to the colorization, while much weaker intensity induces two-photon absorption resulting in the decolorization. The spatial patterning concomitant with higher-order multiphoton absorption processes was also demonstrated.  相似文献
