Application of matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) to the analysis of dextran and dextrin derivatives, specifically glucose saccharides, by time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometry has been reported. MALDI-TOF analysis was carried out on alpha-, beta- and gamma-cyclodextrin, two O-methylated-beta-cyclodextrins of differing degrees of substitution (DS) and dextrans (a linear glucose saccharide), as pure and doped solutions and as mixtures of two or more of these. Doping was carried out with trace amounts of inorganic salts. The purpose of the analysis of the cyclodextrins was to determine whether they would form inclusion complexes with the various cations added, or whether less specific cation addition/exchange was occurring either prior to desorption or in the gas phase. 相似文献

Carbon tetrachloride (CCL4) induces oxidative stress by free radical toxicities, inflammation, and neurotoxicity. Quercetin (Q), on the other hand, has a role as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, and free radical-scavenging. This study explored protection given by quercetin against CCL4 induced neurotoxicity in rats at given concentrations. Male Wistar rats were divided into four groups Group C: control group; Group CCL4: given a single oral dose of 1 mL/kg bw CCL4; Group Q: given a single i.p injection of 100 mg/kg bw quercetin; and Group Q + CCL4: given a single i.p injection of 100 mg/kg bw quercetin before two hours of a single oral dose of 1 mL/kg bw CCL4. The results from brain-to-body weight ratio, morphology, lipid peroxidation, brain urea, ascorbic acid, reduced glutathione, sodium, and enzyme alterations (aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), catalase, and superoxide dismutase) suggested alterations by CCL4 and a significant reversal of these parameters by quercetin. In silico analysis of quercetin with various proteins was conducted to understand the molecular mechanism of its protection. The results identified by BzScore4 D showed moderate binding between quercetin and the following receptors: glucocorticoids, estrogen beta, and androgens and weak binding between quercetin and the following proteins: estrogen alpha, Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARγ), Herg k+ channel, Liver x, mineralocorticoid, progesterone, Thyroid α, and Thyroid β. Three-dimensional/four-dimensional visualization of binding modes of quercetin with glucocorticoids, estrogen beta, and androgen receptors was performed. Several secure image encryption systems have been researched and formed by chaotic mechanisms in current decades. This work recommends an innovative quantum color image encryption method focused on the Lucas series-based substitution box to enhance the competence of encryption. The suggested encryption technique has more excellent key space and significant confidentiality. The chaotic system, along with the substitution box, exhibits additional complicated dynamical behavior, sufficient arbitrariness, and uncertainty than all others focused on just chaotic models. Theoretical and simulation assessments show that the offered image encryption performs admirably, its traditional equivalents in terms by efficiency in terms of statistical analysis. 相似文献

We investigate the evolution of a discrete-time one-dimensional quantum walk driven by a position-dependent coin. The rotation angle, which depends upon the position of a quantum particle, parameterizes the coin operator. For different values of the rotation angle, we observe that such a coin leads to a variety of probability distributions, e.g. localized, periodic, classicallike, semi-classical-like, and quantum-like. Further, we study the Shannon entropy associated with position and the coin space of a quantum particle, and compare them with the case of the position-independent coin. Our results show that the entropy is smaller for most values of the rotation angle as compared to the case of the position-independent coin. We also study the effect of entanglement on the behavior of probability distribution and Shannon entropy by considering a quantum walk with two identical position-dependent entangled coins. We observe that in general, a wave function becomes more localized as compared to the case of the positionindependent coin and hence the corresponding Shannon entropy is lower. Our results show that a position-dependent coin can be used as a controlling tool of quantum walks. 相似文献

A selective and sensitive reagent of 2-pyridine carboxaldehyde isonicotinyl hydrazone(2-PYAINH) was synthesized and studied for the spectrophotometric determination of nickel, copper, cobalt, and iron in detail. At a pH value of 7.0, 9,0, 9.0, and 8.0, respectively, which greatly increased the selectivity; nickel, copper, cobalt, and iron reacted with 2-PYAINH to form a 1:2 yellow-orange, 1:2 yellow-green, 1:2 yellow and 1:1 yellow complexes, with absorption peaks at 363, 352, 346, and 359 nm, respectively. Under the optimal conditions, Beer's law was obeyed over the ranges of 0.01-1.4, 0.01-1.5, 0.01-2.7, and 0.01-5.4 mg/L respectively. The apparent molar absorptivity and Sandell's sensitivities were 8.4×10^4, 5.2×10^4, 7.1×10^4, and 3.9×10^4 L·mol^-l·cm^-1, respectively, and 0.00069, 0.0012, 0.00078, and 0.0014 μg·cm2, respectively. The detection limits were found to be 0.001, 0.002, 0.003, and 0.01 mg/L, respectively. The detailed study of various interfering ions to make the method more sensitive was carried out and selective and several real samples were analyzed with satisfactory results. 相似文献

Kinetics of the oxidation of D ‐fructose by cerium(IV) has been investigated both in the absence and presence of surfactants (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, CTAB, and sodium dodecyl sulfate, SDS) in sulfuric acid medium. The reaction exhibits first‐order kinetics each in [cerium(IV)] and [D ‐fructose] and inverse first order in [H2SO4]. The Arrhenius equation is found to be valid for the reaction between 30–50°C. A detailed mechanism with the associated reaction kinetics is presented and discussed. While SDS has no effect, CTAB increases the reaction rate with the same kinetic behavior in its presence. The catalytic role of CTAB micelles is discussed in terms of the pseudophase model proposed by Menger and Portnoy. The association constant Ks that equals to 286 mol?1 dm3 is found for the association of cerium(IV) with the positive head group of CTAB micelles.
