Amorphous CoMoN/CN compound soft-X-ray multilayers were fabricated by dual-facing-target sputtering. Their structural thermal stability has been investigated by monitoring the structural evolutions of CN and CoMoN sublayers at annealing temperatures up to 800 °C using complementary measurement techniques, and measuring the coefficient of interfacial diffusion at annealing temperatures below 300 °C. The period expansion at annealing temperatures below 600 °C, which is usually observed in annealed metal/carbon soft-X-ray multilayers, is only 5%. The enhanced sp2 to sp3 bond ratio caused by the incorporation annealing effect of nitrogen [1] is thought to be responsible for the improved thermal stability of CN sublayers. Mo addition greatly suppresses the structural thermal evolution of CoMoN sublayers. XPS and TEM analyses indicate that the strong chemical bonding between N and Co atoms and Mo nitride aggregation in the grain boundary of cobalt are the main mechanisms for the high thermal stability of CoMoN sublayers. The layered structure of the CoMoN/CN multilayers still exists at the annealing temperature of 800 °C, while Co/C and CoN/CN multilayers have already been destroyed at this temperature. Compared with Co/C and CoN/CN multilayers, the smaller negative interdiffusivity measured by X-ray diffraction reveals the stable interfaces of CoMoN/CN multilayers. These results illustrate that refractory metal incorporation and strong chemical bond establishment are quite effective in obtaining thermally highly stable compound soft-X-ray optical multilayers . Composite thin films of PbTiO3 nanocrystals and high-transparency PEKc polymer for applications in electro-optical devices were prepared using the spin coating technique. The size of the PbTiO3 nanocrystals was estimated to be 30–40 nm using a transmission electron microscope. The transmission technique, a simple method for measuring the electro-optic coefficients of poled composite polymer films was developed. The electro-optic coefficient γ33 of poled PbTiO3/PEKc composite polymer films was measured to be 18.34 pm  V-1 at 633 nm under room temperature. The index at 633 nm and the dielectric constant at 100 kHz under room temperature were determined to be 1.65248 and 7.32, respectively. The figure of merit F2=n7γ2/ε was estimated to be 1546, showing very good electro-optical properties. Novel chiral imidazole cyclophane receptors were synthesized by highly selective N-alkylation of the imadazolyl 1N-position of the bridged histidine diester 2 with the dibromide in the presence of NaH; these receptors exhibit good chiral recognition toward the enantiomers of L- and D-amino acid derivatives (up to KD/KL = 3.52, delta delta G0 = -3.11 kJ mol-1) in CHCl3 at 25.0 degrees C.  相似文献

Extensions of two classical results about polynomials, one due to W. Markov and the other due to Duffin and Schaeffer, are obtained in this paper. An interesting result of S. Bernstein, which went unnoticed until it was rediscovered by P. Erdos, years later, is also generalized. Our results are especially amenable to numerical calculations, and may, therefore, be of some practical importance.

We present the implementation of a clutter-tolerant filter in a hybrid correlator system. Wiener filters were mapped with a complex encoding technique onto a smectic A(*) liquid-crystal spatial light modulator (SLM). The technique overcomes the problem of representing high-dynamic-range data on SLM's that have limited modulation capabilities. It also provides a compact image recognition system that is robust enough for many real-world applications. Experimental results are presented.  相似文献

Baryon rapidity loss in relativistic Au + Au collisions   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
An excitation function of proton rapidity distributions for different centralities is reported from AGS Experiment E917 for Au+Au collisions at 6, 8, and 10.8 GeV/nucleon. The rapidity distributions from peripheral collisions have a valley at midrapidity which smoothly change to distributions that display a broad peak at midrapidity for central collisions. The mean rapidity loss increases with increasing beam energy, whereas the fraction of protons consistent with isotropic emission from a stationary source at midrapidity decreases with increasing beam energy. The data suggest that the stopping is substantially less than complete at these energies.  相似文献

We demonstrate that the shift of the stop-band position with increasing oblique angle in periodic structures results in a wide transverse exponential field distribution corresponding to strong angular confinement of the radiation. The beam expansion follows an effective diffusive equation depending only upon the spectral mode width. In the presence of gain, the beam cross section is limited only by the size of the gain area. As an example of an active periodic photonic medium, we calculate and measure laser emission from a dye-doped cholesteric liquid crystal film.  相似文献
