Initial stages of two-dimensional crystal growth of the double-decker sandwich complex Lu(Pc*)2 [Pc* = 2,3,9,10,16,17,23,24-octakis(octyloxy)phthalocyaninato] have been studied by scanning tunneling microscopy at the liquid/solid interface between 1-phenyloctane and highly oriented pyrolytic graphite. High-resolution images strongly suggest alignment of the double-decker molecules into monolayers with the phthalocyanine rings parallel to the surface. Domains were observed with either hexagonal or quadrate packing motifs, and the growing interface of the layer was imaged. Molecular resolution was achieved, and the face of the phthalocyanine rings appeared as somewhat diffuse circular features. The alkyl chains are proposed to be interdigitating to maintain planar side-by-side packing. 相似文献
One of the outstanding contemporary challenges in condensed matter physics is to understand the dynamics of interacting quantum systems exposed to an external perturbation. We theoretically examine nonequilibrium photo dynamics and its interplay of charge, spin, and lattice degrees of freedom on a Hubbard-Holstein chain in one dimension and a t-J-Holstein square lattice in two dimensions. In the chain, performing dynamical density-matrix renormalization group calculations, we find that many phonons generated dynamically after photo irradiation in Mott insulators cause initial relaxation process. On the other hand, in the square lattice with model parameters as relevant for cuprates, a Lanczos-type exact diagonalization calculation shows that the majority of absorbed energy flows into spin subsystem rather than phonon subsystem. 相似文献
An extended random-phase approximation (ERPA) which contains the effects of ground-state correlations up to a three-body level
is applied to an extended Lipkin model which contains an additional particle-scattering term. Three-body correlations in the
ground state are necessary to preserve the hermiticity of the Hamiltonian matrix of ERPA. Two approximate forms of ERPA which
neglect the three-body correlations are also applied to investigate the importance of three-body correlations. It is found
that the ground-state energy is little affected by the inclusion of the three-body correlations. On the contrary, three-body
correlations for the excited states can become quite important. 相似文献
This paper investigates price fluctuations in the Brazilian stock market. We employ a recently developed methodology to test whether the Brazilian stock price returns present a power law distribution and find that we cannot reject such behavior. Empirical results for sub-partitions of the time series suggests that for most of the time the power law is not rejected, but that in some cases the data set does not conform with a power law distribution. 相似文献
Size tunable amphiphilic NPs composed of poly(γ‐PGA) and hydrophobic amino acids, such as Phe or Trp, were prepared. To prepare these size‐regulated NPs, γ‐PGA‐g‐Phe or γ‐PGA‐g‐Trp dissolved in DMSO was added to various concentrations of NaCl solution. The γ‐PGA‐Phe and γ‐PGA‐Trp formed monodispersed NPs, and the size of NPs can be easily controlled by NaCl concentration. The different‐sized NPs showed the same structure. The encapsulation of protein into the different‐sized NPs was successfully achieved and the size of protein‐encapsulated γ‐PGA‐Phe NPs was increased when protein was encapsulated.
