IR-UV double resonance spectroscopy and ab initio calculations were employed to investigate the structures and vibrations of the aromatic amino acid, L-phenylalanine-(H(2)O)(n) clusters formed in a supersonic free jet. Our results indicate that up to three water molecules are preferentially bound to both the carbonyl oxygen and the carboxyl hydrogen of L-phenylalanine (L-Phe) in a bridged hydrogen-bonded conformation. As the number of water molecules is increased, the bridge becomes longer. Two isomers are found for L-Phe-(H(2)O)(1), and both of them form a cyclic hydrogen-bond between the carboxyl group and the water molecule. In L-Phe-(H(2)O)(2), only one isomer was identified, in which two water molecules form extended cyclic hydrogen bonds with the carboxyl group. In the calculated structure of L-Phe-(H(2)O)(3) the bridge of water molecules becomes larger and exhibits an extended hydrogen-bond to the pi-system. Finally, in isolated L-Phe, the D conformer was found to be the most stable conformer by the experiment and by the ab initio calculation.  相似文献

This paper describes a metal–metal bonding technique using metallic Cu nanoparticles prepared in aqueous solution. A colloid solution of metallic Cu particles with a size of 54 ± 15 nm was prepared by reducing Cu2+ (0.01 M (CH3COO)2Cu) with hydrazine (0.6 M) in the presence of stabilizers (5 × 10?4 M citric acid and 5 × 10?3 M cetyltrimethylammonium bromide) in water at room temperature in air. Discs made of metallic materials (Cu, Ni/Cu, or Ag/Ni/Cu) were successfully bonded under annealing at 400 °C and pressurizing at 1.2 MPa for 5 min in H2 gas with help of the metallic Cu particle powder. Shear strength required for separating the bonded discs was 27.9 ± 3.9 for Cu discs, 28.1 ± 4.1 for Ni/Cu discs, and 13.8 ± 2.6 MPa for Ag/Ni/Cu discs. Epitaxial crystal growth promotes on the discs with a good matching for the lattice constants between metallic nanoparticles and metallic disc surfaces, which leads to strong bonding. The reactions of aromatic compounds and elemental chalcogens catalyzed by a copper salt with molecular oxygen as an oxidant were carried out. The reaction of 3‐substituted imidazo[1,5‐a]pyridines and elemental sulfur in the presence of CuTC (copper(I) thiophenecarboxylate) gave the corresponding bisimidazopyridyl sulfides in good to quantitative yields. The reaction proceeded even under aerobic oxidation conditions. The use of a polar solvent was crucial for the reaction, and DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) in particular stimulated the reaction. The reaction could be applied to common aromatic compounds, such as N‐methyl indole and dialkyl anilines. The reaction of indole proceeded at the nucleophilic C3 position rather than at the acidic C2 position. In addition, the reaction of dialkyl anilines proceeded with an ortho, para orientation. The reactions of imidazopyridines and elemental selenium under similar conditions gave the corresponding bisimidazopyridyl diselenides along with bisimidazopyridyl monoselenides. The resulting diselenides were readily converted to the corresponding monoselenides with unreacted imidazopyridines under the same conditions. The reaction could be applied to the copolymerization of bifunctional bisimidazopyridines and elemental sulfur to give oligomeric copolymers in quantitative yield.  相似文献

The spectra and kinetic behavior of solvated electrons (esol) in alkyl ammonium ionic liquids (ILs), i.e. N,N-diethyl-N-methyl-N-(2-methoxyethyl)ammonium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (DEMMA-TFSI), N,N-diethyl-N-methyl-N-(2-methoxyethyl)ammonium tetrafluoroborate (DEMMA-BF4), N,N,N-trimethyl-N-propylammonium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (TMPA-TFSI), N-methyl-N-propylpiperidinium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (PP13-TFSI), N-methyl-N-propylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (P13-TFSI), and N-methyl-N-butylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (P14-TFSI) were investigated by the pulse radiolysis method. The esol in each of the ammonium ILs has an absorption peak at 1100 nm, with molar absorption coefficients of 1.5–2.3×104 dm3 mol−1 cm−1. The esol decayed by first order with a rate constant of 1.4–6.4×106 s−1. The reaction rate constant of the solvated electron with pyrene (Py) was 1.5–3.5×108 dm3 mol−1 s−1 in the various ILs. These values were about one order of magnitude higher than the diffusion-controlled limits calculated from measured viscosities. The radiolytic yields (G-value) of the esol were 0.8–1.7×10−7 mol J−1. The formation rate constant of esol in DEMMA-TFSI was 3.9×1010 s−1. The dry electron (edry) in DEMMA-TFSI reacts with Py with a rate constant of 7.9×1011 dm3 mol−1 s−1, three orders of magnitude higher than that of the esol reactions. The G-value of the esol in the picosecond time region is 1.2×10−7 mol J−1. The capture of edry by scavengers was found to be very fast in ILs.  相似文献

Recently, measuring the complexity of body movements during sleep has been proven as an objective biomarker of various psychiatric disorders. Although sleep problems are common in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and might exacerbate ASD symptoms, their objectivity as a biomarker remains to be established. Therefore, details of body movement complexity during sleep as estimated by actigraphy were investigated in typically developing (TD) children and in children with ASD. Several complexity analyses were applied to raw and thresholded data of actigraphy from 17 TD children and 17 children with ASD. Determinism, irregularity and unpredictability, and long-range temporal correlation were examined respectively using the false nearest neighbor (FNN) algorithm, information-theoretic analyses, and detrended fluctuation analysis (DFA). Although the FNN algorithm did not reveal determinism in body movements, surrogate analyses identified the influence of nonlinear processes on the irregularity and long-range temporal correlation of body movements. Additionally, the irregularity and unpredictability of body movements measured by expanded sample entropy were significantly lower in ASD than in TD children up to two hours after sleep onset and at approximately six hours after sleep onset. This difference was found especially for the high-irregularity period. Through this study, we characterized details of the complexity of body movements during sleep and demonstrated the group difference of body movement complexity across TD children and children with ASD. Complexity analyses of body movements during sleep have provided valuable insights into sleep profiles. Body movement complexity might be useful as a biomarker for ASD.  相似文献

Three-dimensional m × n arrays of metal ion clusters can be assembled as aromatic stacks of planar polynuclear metal complexes within columnar coordination cages. The polynuclear complexes and cage height program the final array structures of the metal ion clusters. Cyclic trinuclear Au(I) complexes (m = 3) assembled into trigonal prismatic arrays (n = 1-3) within the cages and the array structures were clearly shown by X-ray crystallographic analysis. A silver-sandwiched hetero-Au(3)-Ag-Au(3) cluster was also prepared by treating a hexanuclear Au(3)-Au(3) cluster with Ag(I) ion.  相似文献
