The properties of some chelate-forming resins prepared from common anion-exchange resins by treatment with reagents bearing chelate-forming and ion-exchange groups have been studied. A resin prepared from the sulphonic acid derivative of dithizone (DzS) was found to be superior to other chelate-forming resins. Resins loaded with DzS, tetraphenylporphinetrisulphonic acid or zincon were stable in 1M sodium chloride. Resins prepared from sulphonazo III, arsenazo III, thiosalicylic acid or p-mercaptobenzenesulphonic acid were found to be unstable when exposed to sodium chloride solution.  相似文献

A method for the simultaneous determination of aldehydes in dialdehyde fragments, obtained from carbohydrate samples by periodate oxidation, is proposed. Reaction mixtures obtained from the periodate oxidation of carbohydrate samples are deionized by resins, and evaporated to dryness. The syrupy residues are treated with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine hydrochloride in 1.2-dimethoxyethane at 25°C for 3 h. The resultant mixtures of hydrazones are separated by t.l.c. or l.c., and individual hydrazones are determined by spectrophotometric measurement. Reliable analyses of carbohydrate linkages are possible with 50–250-μg samples.  相似文献

New hydroxyl protecting groups of a safety-catch type, i.e., 4-methylsulfinylbenzyl-oxycarbonyl (Msz) group for Tyr and 4-methylsulfinylbenzyl (Msob) ether for Thr, have been developed. O-Msz and O-Msob groups are stable under both acidic and basic conditions and can be removed by a one-pot reaction involving reductive acidolysis using tetrachlorosilane-trifluoroacetic acid (TFA)-scavengers. Using these new protecting groups, a 17 residue-peptide, gamma-endorphin, was successfully synthesized by the efficient solid phase method.  相似文献

The mitogenicity and lethal toxicity of chemically synthesized lipid A analogs, in which 2,3-acyloxyacylglucosamine-4-phosphate (acyl-GlcN-4P) is linked to a tetraacetyl (Ac4)-monosaccharide, i.e., Ac4-glucose (A-211), Ac4-mannose (A-212), Ac4-galactose (A-213) or Ac4-glucosamine (A-214), were compared with those of tetraacetyl-3-deoxy-D-manno-2-octulosonic acid (Ac4-KDO) linked to acyl-GlcN-4P (A-203). All the compounds were capable of increasing incorporation of 3H-thymidine into splenocytes of C57BL/6 mice at doses of 50 and 100 micrograms/ml, but the mitogenic activity of A-203 at these doses seems to be stronger than those of the analogs. Intravenous injection of A-203, A-211, and A-213 did not exhibit lethal toxicity even at a high dose (50 micrograms/mouse) in C57BL/6 mice loaded with D-galactosamine hydrochloride. However, A-212 and A-214 showed lethality at the doses of 10 and 50 micrograms/mouse, respectively. The findings indicate that the biological activity of these compounds is affected by the kind of monosaccharide linked to acyl-GlcN-4P.  相似文献

The amino acid industry has been steadily expanding since monosodium glutamate was first marketed as a flavoring material in 1909. Its production has recently reached almost the 1 billion dollar level. Amino acids are produced by extraction from protein hydrolyzates, by fermentation with the aid of microorganisms, by enzymatic processes, and by chemical synthesis. To obtain natural L-amino acid, chemical synthesis generally requires two additional steps, i.e. optical resolution and racemization of the D isomer. The most important applications of amino acids include the fortification of plant food and feeds by supplementation of the deficient essential amino acid(s). Apart from their uses in the food industry, medical applications of amino acids (nutritional preparations and therapeutic agents) are becoming increasingly important.  相似文献

Bubble garnet films before and after 50 keV H+ implantation have been studied by means of DCEMS. The spintilt angle of the films as grown after etching off 1000 å was measured to be 30±2? relative to the surface normal at the top of the surface. The doses of implanted H+ ions were 2, 4 and 8×1016 ions/cm2. Mössbauer spectra were measured after successive etching of the implanted layer. The magnetic hyperfine field was obtained as a function of depth. The implanted hydrogen distribution was also measured by the1H(15N, αγ)12C reaction.  相似文献

High field magnetization and ESR measurements on the quasi-one-dimensional (1D) antiferromagnet BaCo(2)V(2)O(8) have been performed in magnetic fields up to 50 T along the chain. The experimental results are explained well in terms of a 1D S=1/2 antiferromagnetic XXZ model in longitudinal fields. We show that the quantum phase transition from the Néel ordered phase to the spin liquid one in the model is responsible for a peculiar order to disorder transition in BaCo(2)V(2)O(8).  相似文献
