In this paper, we make a systematic analysis of the dynamics of a predator–prey system with type-II functional response, in which the predator growth rate is affected by the presence of a super predator. The main aim of this research is to study the consequences of the presence of a super predator on the system dynamics. The existence and stability of the different possible equilibrium points are studied, and we conclude that the maximum consumption rate of a super predator plays a key role in determining the eventual state of the ecosystem. A detailed bifurcation analysis is carried out through numerical simulations, and we observe that theoretically it is possible to control the dynamics of the system by manipulating the consumption rate of the super predator. 相似文献

An inventory model for a deteriorating item with stock dependent demand is developed under two storage facilities over a random planning horizon, which is assumed to follow exponential distribution with known parameter. For crisp deterioration rate, the expected profit is derived and maximized via genetic algorithm (GA). On the other hand, when deterioration rate is imprecise then optimistic/pessimistic equivalent of fuzzy objective function is obtained using possibility/necessity measure of fuzzy event. Fuzzy simulation process is proposed to maximize the optimistic/pessimistic return and finally fuzzy simulation-based GA is developed to solve the model. We derive an effective Hamiltonian for the two-dimensional Hubbard–Holstein model in the regimes of strong electron–electron and strong electron–phonon interactions by using a nonperturbative approach. In the parameter region where the system manifests the existence of a correlated singlet phase, the effective Hamiltonian transforms to a t1 ? V 1 ? V 2 ? V 3 Hamiltonian for hard-core-bosons on a checkerboard lattice. We employ quantum Monte Carlo simulations, involving stochastic-series-expansion technique, to obtain the ground state phase diagram. At filling 1∕8, as the strength of off-site repulsion increases, the system undergoes a first-order transition from a superfluid to a diagonal striped solid with ordering wavevector \(\vec{Q}\) = (π∕4, 3π∕4) or (π∕4, 5π∕4). Unlike the one-dimensional situation, our results in the two-dimensional case reveal a supersolid phase (corresponding to the diagonal striped solid) around filling 1∕8 and at large off-site repulsions. Furthermore, for small off-site repulsions, we witness a valence bond solid at one-fourth filling and tiny phase-separated regions at slightly higher fillings. 相似文献

The fully frustrated spin-1/2 Heisenberg FM/AF square bilayer in a magnetic field with the ferromagnetic inter-dimer interaction and the antiferromagnetic intra-dimer interaction is explored by the use of localized many-magnon approach, which allows to connect the original purely quantum Heisenberg spin model on a square bilayer with the effective ferromagnetic Ising model on a simple square lattice. Magnetization and specific heat are investigated exactly at a field-driven phase transition from the singlet-dimer phase towards the fully saturated ferromagnetic phase, which changes from a discontinuous phase transition to a continuous one at a certain critical temperature. The present paper deals with the problem of non-selective harvesting of a prey-predator system in which both the prey and the predator species obey the law of logistic growth and each predators functional response to the prey approaches a constant as the prey population increases. Cyclam-based enediynes 1-3 have been synthesized for the first time either by direct bis- or tetra-alkylation of the cyclam or via double alkylation of the 1,8-bis-sulfonyl derivative. The enediyne 1 readily forms a complex with Ni(II), which also lowered the onset temperature for Bergman cyclization of the parent enediyne by 60 °C.
