Recently, an efficient numerical method, which is called the collocation spectral method (CSM), for radiative heat transfer problems, has been proposed by the present authors. In this numerical method there exists the exponential convergence rate, which can obtain a very high accuracy even using a small number of grids. In this article, the CSM based on body-fitted coordinates (BFC) is extended to simulate radiative heat transfer problems in participating medium confined in 2D complex geometries. This numerical method makes simultaneously the use of the merits of both the CSM and BFC. In this numerical approach, the radiative transfer equation (RTE) in orthogonal Cartesian coordinates should be transformed into the equation in body-fitted nonorthogonal curvilinear coordinates. In order to test the efficiency of the developed method, several 2D complex irregular enclosures with curved boundaries and containing an absorbing, emitting and scattering medium are examined. The results obtained by the CSM are assessed by comparing the predictions with those in references. These comparisons indicate that the CSM based on BFC can be recommended as a good option to solve radiative heat transfer problems in complex geometries.  相似文献

Based on a recursive Green's function method, we investigate the conductance of mesoscopic graphene rings in the presence of disorder, in the limit of phase coherent transport. Two models of disorder are considered: edge disorder and surface disorder. Our simulations show that the conductance decreases exponentially with the edge disorder and the surface disorder. In the presence of flux, a clear Aharonov-Bohm conductance oscillation with the period Φ0 (Φ0=h/e) is observed. The edge disorder and the surface disorder have no effect on the period of AB oscillation. The amplitudes of AB oscillations vary with gate voltage and flux, which is consistent with the previous results. Additionally, ballistic rectification and negative differential resistance are observed in I-V curves, with on/off characteristic.  相似文献

A continuous wave Er:YAP laser pumped by Mgo:PPLN laser locked at 1535 nm was reported. 170 mW of 1609 nm output was achieved under total incident pump power of 7 W at 77 K. The slope efficiency were 5.0 and 3.1% with the cavity length 75 and 140 mm.  相似文献

In order to improve the thermal stability and dynamic performance of LiCo1/3Ni1/3Mn1/3O2 materials, Cl-doped and Br-doped materials were synthesized via the co-precipitation method. The morphology, structure, electrochemical performance and thermal stability were characterized by environment scanning electron microscopy (ESEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), charge–discharge cycling and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Results show that all materials had a stable layered structure with α-NaFeO2 and that Cl-doping slightly increased the size of grains. Both Cl-doping and Br-doping improved the high rate of discharge capacity, cycle-life performance and thermal stability, but Cl-doping was better than Br-doping in improving the material structure stability, dynamic performance and thermal stability.  相似文献

Abstract . The solvothermal reaction between cuprous iodide and the rigid triangular imidazole ligand in mixed N,N′‐dimethylacetamide (DMA)‐acetonitrile solvent leads to the isolation of the 3D metal‐organic framework [(Cu4I4)3(TIPA)4] · 7DMA ( 1 ) [TIPA = tri(4‐imidazolylphenyl) amine], which was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, powder X‐ray diffraction, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Topologically, the structure of 1 is an unprecedented 3,3,4,4‐connected net with a point symbol of {4.8.10}2{4.82}2{42.82.102}2{84.122}. Compound 1 exhibits orange‐red photoluminescence with an emission maximum at 622 nm at room temperature.  相似文献

Quantum dots (QDs) have shown great potential to provide spatial, temporal, and structural information for biological systems. However, blinking, photobleaching, and spectral blueshift are adverse effects on their practical applications in biomedical research. An investigation of the effects of six reducing agents including cysteine (Cys), 1,4‐dithiothreitol (DTT), ethyl gallate (EG), L ‐glutathione (GSH), mercaptoacetic acid (MAA), and thiourea (TU) on the photostability of single QDs was studied. Our experiments demonstrate that both DTT and EG effectively inhibit blinking, photobleaching, and spectral blueshift. GSH molecules block blinking and photobleaching of QDs. The other reagents, Cys, MAA, and TU, only have the ability to counteract blinking. Possible explanations are given on the basis of research evidence. The results suggest possibilities for significant improvements in QDs for biological applications by adjusting the environmental conditions.  相似文献
