Purpose of the present paper is to view the correspondence between Ricci and other dark energies. We have considered the Ricci dark energy in presence of dark matter in non-interacting situation. Subsequently, we have derived the pressure and energy density for Ricci dark energy. The equation of state parameter has been generated from these pressure and energy density. Next, we have considered the correspondence between Ricci and other dark energy models, namely tachyonic field, DBI-essence and new agegraphic dark energy without any interaction and investigated possible cosmological consequences.  相似文献

We report the first inter-comparison of vertical profiles of aerosols and clouds derived from space (CALIPSO) and ground based lidar over Chung-Li, Taiwan. Results show that inter-comparison is closer in case of aerosols than clouds. The strength/shortcoming of the comparison has been also discussed. An iterative calculation to retrieve extinction-to-backscatter ratio (lidar ratio) by using sun-photometer and CALIPSO data is also documented. By using the mentioned method, a mean lidar ratio of 23.5±8.2 sr was found. The derived lidar ratios are lower than former studies. The possible reasons for the difference have been discussed in this paper. The discussed methodology will be helpful to reduce the uncertainty of optical parameters derived from lidar data especially near the surface where the atmosphere is inhomogeneous.  相似文献

Tri-state logic plays a significant role in carry free arithmetical operation. Design of all-optical scheme of three basic tri-state logical operation (NOT, AND, OR) with the help of polarization encoded semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA)-assisted Sagnac interferometric switch has been studied and investigated in this present paper. Numerical simulation is also presented, which verifies the theoretical results. Insertion loss, contrast ratio, extinction ratio, amplitude modulation, bit error rate and signal to noise ratio values have also been analyzed.  相似文献

Numerical analysis and scale analysis are combined in a novel manner in this work to develop closed-form expressions for flame geometry in opposed-flow flame spread over condensed fuels. A scale analysis is used to relate different geometric attributes to appropriate non-dimensional parameters. A comprehensive numerical model is then used to generate a large set of numerical data for flame height, flame length, and pyrolysis length as functions of different fuel and oxidizer parameters for flame spread in the thermal, kinetic, and radiative regimes. The numerical data is then correlated to scaled expressions and the unknown coefficients are numerically determined. It is shown that flame length, flame height, and pyrolysis length can be expressed in terms of the preheat length in different regimes of flame spread. An experimental approach is outlined to measure the preheat length necessary for accurately predicting the flame structure. Experimental images obtained from interferometry in two different regimes – downward spreading configuration and quiescent microgravity environment – are consistent with the proposed flame height correlation.  相似文献

Two-photon absorption(2PA) in zinc sulphide(ZnS) and Mn2+-doped ZnS quantum dots is reported by the z-scan technique,with nanosecond pulsed laser radiation at 355 nm.The observed values of the 2PA cross section of all the samples are 105 times larger than that of bulk ZnS.  相似文献

This paper presents an investigation of compound hadrons (pions and protons) distribution emitted from 24Mg-AgBr and 12C-AgBr interactions both at 4.5 AGeV and 32S-AgBr interactions at 200 AGeV. The study includes azimuthal correlations (two particle and three particle), azimuthal asymmetry and fractal behaviour. This paper reveals some interesting results.  相似文献

A new scale of electronegativity based on X-ray spectroscopic data was earlier presented by Mande and others for the elements3Li to54Xe. The present paper reports an extension of this scale carried out for most of the heavier elements lying between55Cs and92U. The present approach is based on the physical interpretation of electronegativity of an atom as the attractive electrostatic force it exerts at a distance equal to its covalent radius. To estimate this force, experimental spectroscopic data have been employed. The merits of such an approach have been pointed out recently by Mullay and may be of interest in the context of the intimate relation found between electronegativity and superconducting transition temperature.  相似文献

In this paper we report a new method of fabrication of surface tensionconfined microfluidic devices on glass. We have also successfully carried out some well-known chemical reactions in these fluidic channels to demonstrate the usefulness of these wall-less microchannels. The confined flow path of liquid was achieved on the basis of extreme differences in hydrophobic and hydrophilic characters of the surface. The flow paths were fabricated by making parallel lines using permanent marker pen ink or other polymer on glass surfaces. Two mirror image patterned glass plates were then sandwiched one on top of the other, separated by a thin gap-created using a spacer. The aqueous liquid moves between the surfaces by capillary forces, confined to the hydrophilic areas without wetting the hydrophobic lines, achieving liquid confinement without physical side-walls. We have shown that the microfluidic devices designed in such a way can be very useful due to their simplicity and low fabrication cost. More importantly, we have also demonstrated that the minimum requirement of such a working device is a hydrophilic line surrounded by hydrophobic environment, two walls of which are constituted of air and the rest is made of a hydrophobic surface.  相似文献
