The optimization of fiber distribution is analyzed in order to improve the strength performance of metal-matrix composite material, which is submitted to two variable independent loads by coupling homogenization and shakedown theories. Numerical Direct Methods are applied to acquire the shakedown domain of three-dimensional heterogeneous elastic-perfectly plastic fiber-reinforced composite for optimal design. The predissociation data for the 1 (1)Pi state of (39)K(85)Rb of Kasahara et al. [J. Chem. Phys. 111, 8857 (1999)] are combined with the recent determination of the long range C(6) coefficients of the predissociating 2 (3)Sigma(+) approximately 2(0(-)), 2(1) states [Wang et al., Eur. Phys. J. D31, 165 (2004) ] molecule: to infer a more precise dissociation energy of the (39)K(85)Rb molecule D(0)=4180.06+/-0.42 cm(-1) and D(e)=4217.91+/-0.42 cm(-1). 相似文献

We have observed the photoassociative spectra of colliding ultracold 39K and 85Rb atoms to produce KRb* in all eight bound electronic states correlating with the 39K (4s) + 85Rb(5p
1/2 and 5p
3/2) asymptotes. These electronically excited KRb* ultracold molecules are detected after their radiative decay to the metastable triplet (a
state and (in some cases) the singlet (X
ground state. The triplet (a
ultracold molecules are detected by two-photon ionization at 602.5 nm to form KRb + , followed by time-of-flight mass spectroscopy. We are able to assign a majority of the spectrum to three states (2(0 + ), 2(0-), 2(1)) in a lower triad of states with similar C
6 values correlating to the K(4s) + Rb (5p
1/2) asymptote; and to five states in an upper triad of three states (3(0 + ), 3(0-), 3(1)) and a dyad of two states (4(1), 1(2)), with one set of similar C
6 values within the upper triad and a different set of similar C
6 values within the dyad. We are also able to make connection with the short-range spectra of Kasahara et al. [J. Chem. Phys. 111, 8857 (1999)], identifying three of our levels as v = 61, 62 and 63 of the 1
4(1) state they observed. We also argue that ultracold photoassociation to levels between the K(4s) + Rb (5p
3/2) and K(4s) + Rb (5p
1/2) asymptotes may be weakly or strongly predissociated and therefore difficult to observe by ionization of a
(or X
molecules; we do know from Kasahara et al. that levels of the 1
4(1) and 2
5(1) states in the intra-asymptote region are predissociated. A small fraction (
1/3) of the triplet (a
ultracold molecules formed are trapped in the weak magnetic field of our magneto-optical trap (MOT).Received: 22 September 2004, Published online: 23 November 2004PACS:

The A1Σu+-X1Σg+ and B1Πu-X1Σg+ fluorescence of the 6Li2 and 6Li7Li molecules has been studied for all krypton ion laser lines (468.0–799.3 nm) which might be expected to excite such fluorescence. Only two A-X fluorescence series of 6Li2 were found (one excited by 647.1 nm, and one by 752.5 nm). No A-X fluorescence series of 6Li7Li was found. Five B-X fluorescence series of 6Li2 were found (one each excited by 468.0, 476.2, and 530.9 nm, and two by 568.2 nm). Four B-X fluorescence series of 6Li7Li were found (one each excited by 468.0 and 482.5 nm and two by 520.8 nm). Calculated Einstein A coefficients and lifetimes for these transitions are also given. 相似文献

We report on the observation of blue-detuned photoassociation in Rb(2), in which vibrational levels are energetically above the corresponding excited atomic asymptote. (85)Rb atoms in a MOT were photoassociated at short internuclear distance to levels of the 1(3)Π(g) state at a rate of approximately 5 × 10(4) molecules s(-1). We have observed most of the predicted vibrational levels for all four spin-orbit components; 0(+)(g), 0(-)(g), 1(g), and 2(g), including levels of the 0(+)(g) outer well. These molecules decay to the metastable a(3)Σ(+)(u) state, some preferentially to the v' = 0 level, as we have observed for photoassociation to the v' = 8 level of the 1(g) component. 相似文献

We present detailed experimental spectra and accurate theoretical interpretation of resonance-enhanced
two-photon ionization of ultracold rubidium molecules in the
14000–17000 cm-1 transition energy range. The dimers are formed in a
magneto-optical trap by photoassociation followed by radiative decay into the a 3Σu+
lowest triplet state. The theoretical treatment of the process, which reproduces the main features
of the spectra, takes into account the photoassociation and decay steps as well as the resonant ionization through the manifold
of intermediate gerade states correlated to the 5S + 4D limit. In particular, the energy of the v=1 level of the
potential well has been determined for the first time. In addition, a tight constraint has been put on the position of the
a 3Σu+
repulsive wall. Finally, magnetic trapping of
rubidium molecules in the a 3Σu+ state is demonstrated.
