Exponential type vector variational-like inequalities and vector optimization problems with exponential type invexities

A new class of exponential form of vector variational-like inequality problems is introduced, and then the equivalence among (weakly) efficient solutions, vector critical points of vector optimization problem and the solutions of vector variational-like inequalities under the framework of (p,r)-invexity is established. To the best our knowledge, the presented results are new and highly application oriented to other results based on generalized invexities to the context of optimization problems in the literature.     

A note on stability of stochastic systems with unbounded perturbations ∗

In this note we consider the question of stabilizability on Hilbert space of systems governed by abstract stochastic differential equations containing randomly perturbed operators. It is shown that, under certain assumptions, a feedback control law can be found that makes the system exponentially stable in the mean square sense even in the presence of unbounded perturbations of the generator     

On partial sums of a gaussian sequence with stationary increments

We establish large increment properties for a Gaussian sequence with stationary increments under global conditions. Limit theorems for partial sums of the sequence with nonpositive correlation functions or the correlation functions on their speed of convergence to zero are proved via estimating a probability inequality on the supremum of Gaussian processes     

Tree Oriented Pullback

Given two epimorphisms of algebras A ? B and C ? B, we consider the pullback R. We introduce a particular class of algebras, the tree oriented pullback, where there is a close relationship between the category of indecomposable modules of these algebras. This leads us to prove that if A and C are hereditary algebras, then R is a tilted algebra.     

Optimal control of self-organized dynamics in cellular signal transduction

We demonstrate how model-based optimal control can be exploited in biological and biochemical modelling applications in several ways. In the first part, we apply optimal control to a detailed kinetic model of a glycolysis oscillator, which plays a central role in immune cells, in order to analyse potential regulatory mechanisms in the dynamics of associated signalling pathways. We demonstrate that the formulation of inverse problems with the aim to determine specific time-dependent input stimuli can provide important insight into dynamic regulations of self-organized cellular signal transduction. In the second part, we present an optimal control study aimed at target-oriented manipulation of a biological rhythm, an internal clock mechanism related to the circadian oscillator. This oscillator is responsible for the approximate endogenous 24 h (latin: circa dies) day-night rhythm in many organisms. On the basis of a kinetic model for the fruit fly Drosophila, we compute switching light stimuli via mixed-integer optimal control that annihilate the oscillations for a fixed time interval. Insight gained from such model-based specific manipulation may be promising in biomedical applications.     

On the Projections of Multivalued Maps

This paper considers analogues of the Helmholtz projections of the set of selections of a piecewise smooth multivalued map , n2. It is shown that, for mn–1 (m=1), the closure of the projection of on the subspace of gradient fields (solenoidal vector fields) is a convex set. For the general case, there are given point-wise conditions on the values of the map which ensure that the closure of the projection of contains the zero element. Possible applications to optimal control problems are discussed.     

Partition structures of the cayley tree and applications for describing periodic gibbs distributions

In the group representation of the Cayley tree, the distribution of elements of the partition into conjugate classes of finite-index, normal subgroups is described. For the inhomogeneous Ising model, it is proved that there exist only three H₀-periodic Gibbs distributions, where H₀ is a normal subgroup of finite index. On Isomorphisms and Invariants of Finite Dimensional Complex Filiform Leibniz Algebras

In this article, we propose an approach classifying a class of filiform Leibniz algebras. The approach is based on algebraic invariants. The method allows to classify all filiform Leibniz algebras (including filiform Lie algebras) in a given fixed dimensional case.
