CdS nanorods were solvothermally produced using Cd(NO3)2 and S powder in ethylenediamine containing different amounts of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP). The phase with hexagonal structure was detected using X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and selected area electron diffraction (SAED). Their SAED patterns were in accordance with those of the simulations. Scanning and transmission electron microscopies (SEM and TEM) revealed the presence of CdS nanorods with their lengths influenced by different amounts of PVP. The nanorods were also characterized using high resolution TEM (HRTEM). They grew in the [001] direction normal to the (002) parallel crystallographic planes composing the nanorods. Raman spectra showed the 1LO (first harmonic) and 2LO (second harmonic) modes at the same wavenumbers although the products were produced under different conditions. Abstract

A new cyclic pentapeptide, pentaminolarin (1), and a new cytochalasin, xylochalasin (2), along with thirteen known compounds (315) were isolated from the wood-decaying fungus Xylaria sp. SWUF08-37. The absolute configurations of 1 were determined by a combination of Marfey’s method and TDDFT ECD calculation and the absolute configurations of 2 were established by TDDFT ECD calculation. Compound 12 showed moderate cytotoxicity against HeLa (IC50?=?19.60?µg/mL), HT29 (IC50?=?17.31?µg/mL), HCT116 (IC50?=?14.28?µg/mL), MCF-7 (IC50?=?15.38?µg/mL), and Vero (IC50?=?24.97?µg/mL) cell lines by MTT assay. Compounds 1 and 2 showed slight cytotoxicity against all tested cancer cell lines.  相似文献

A simple FI and two different SI systems have been investigated for the determination of paracetamol by employing a simple reagent for a nitrosation reaction. It is based on the on-line nitrosation of paracetamol with sodium nitrite in an acidic medium. The formed nitroso derivative species reacts further with sodium hydroxide to convert it to a more stable compound. The yellow product is continuously monitored at 430 nm. The FI system is very simple and cost effective for fast manual operation (60 injections/h; y = 0.268x + 44.314, r2 = 0.9910 for 400 - 1000 mg/l and y = 0.1687x + 145.72, r2 = 0.9970 for 1000 - 2500 mg/l). The two SI systems with different components and configurations are automated and optimized for the conditions for which no extra dilution is to be required for sample handling: one with a syringe pump and two selection valves (60 samples/h; y = 0.1488x - 4.7297, r2 = 0.9946 for 400 - 1000 mg/l and y = 0.0858x + 63.933, r2 = 0.9849 for 1000 - 2500 mg/l); the other is simpler and more cost-effective, with an autoburette and only one selection valve (15 samples/h; y = 0.0072x + 1.1467, r2 = 0.9977 for 200 - 1000 mg/l and y = 0.0028x + 5.4699, r2 = 0.9879 for 1000 - 2500 mg/l). They have all been applied to assay paracetamol in pharmaceutical preparations. The obtained results agree with those by the US Pharmacopeia method.  相似文献

Orthorhombic molybdenum trioxide (α-MoO3) nanobelts have been successfully synthesized by hydrothermal method at 180°C for 20 h. The prepared α-MoO3 samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform IR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy methods. It was found that α-MoO3 nanobelts grow along the c-axis, with ±(100) top or bottom surfaces and ±(010) side surfaces. The prepared α-MoO3 nanobelts were used as cathode materials for Li-ion batteries. They exhibit specific capacity of 1340 and 1250 mA h g–1 at a current density of 100 and 400 mA/g, respectively.  相似文献

Orthorhombic MoO3 and W-doped MoO3 nanobelts were successfully synthesized by a hydrothermal method. The effect of W dopant on the photocatalytic performance of W-doped MoO3 nanobelts was studied. The phase, morphology, and oxidation state of the products were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis, Fourier-transform infrared and Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. In this research, MoO3 and W-doped MoO3 exhibited the same phase and morphology of orthorhombic nanobelts with growth along the [001] direction, including detection of Mo6+, O2?, and W6+ in the 3 mol% W-doped MoO3 sample. The photocatalytic performance of the as-synthesized MoO3 and W-doped MoO3 nanobelts was monitored through photodegradation of methylene blue (MB) under visible radiation. W-doped MoO3 nanobelts showed better photocatalytic performance than pure MoO3. The 3 mol% W-doped MoO3 photocatalyst exhibited very good visible-light-driven activity for photodegradation of MB, as high as 99 % within 60 min.  相似文献

In the present study, the effects of fin thickness on the heat transfer and friction characteristics of fin-and-tube heat exchangers having herringbone wavy fin configuration are experimentally investigated. The experimental apparatus consists essentially of a well insulated open wind tunnel and herringbone wavy fin-and-tube heat exchangers made from aluminium plate finned, copper tube. Air and water are used to be working fluids in air-side and tube-side, respectively. A total of 10 samples of the fin-and-tube heat exchangers are tested. The experimental procedures are conducted by keeping the inlet water temperature at a pre-selected value, adjusting the water volumetric flow rate at a specific value and varying the air velocity. The results are presented as plots of the Colburn factor and friction factor against the Reynolds number based on the fin collar outside diameter (ReDc). From the results, it is found that for number of tube rows (N) = 2, the Colburn factor increases with increasing fin thickness. For N 4, the Colburn factor decreases with increasing fin thickness when ReDc < 1800, and increases with increasing fin thickness when ReDc > 2500. The friction factor increases with increasing fin thickness when fin pitch (Fp) 1.81 mm.  相似文献

The nonlinear characteristics in the large amplitude three-dimensionalfree vibrations of inclined sagged elastic cables are investigated. Amodel formulation which is not limited to cables having smallsag-to-span ratios and takes into account the axial deformation effectis considered. Based on a multi-degree-of-freedom cable model, a finitedifference discretization is employed within a numerical solution of thegoverning equations of three-dimensional coupled motion. Variousnumerical examples of arbitrarily inclined sagged cables with initialout-of-plane or in-plane motions are carried out for the case of aspecified end tension. The major findings consist of highlighting theextent of two-and three-dimensional nonlinear couplings, the occurrenceof nonlinear dynamic tensions, and the meaningfulness of modaltransition phenomena ensuing from the activation of various internalresonance conditions. The influence of cable inclination on thenonlinear dynamic behavior is also evaluated. Comprehensive discussionand comparison of large amplitude free vibrations of horizontal andinclined sagged cables are presented.  相似文献
