In the present investigation we have discussed the flow of a Jeffrey-six constant incompressible fluid between two infinite coaxial cylinders in the presence of heat transfer analysis. The governing equations of Jeffrey-six constant fluid along with energy equation have been derived in cylindrical coordinates. The highly nonlinear equations are simplified with the help of non-dimensional parameters and then solved analytically with the help of homotopy analysis method (HAM) for two fundamental flows namely Couette and Generalized Couette flow. The effects of emerging parameters are discussed through graphs. The convergence of the HAM solution has been discussed by plotting h-curves.  相似文献

In the present article, we have analyzed the effects of heat and mass transfer on Reiner Rivlin fluid model for blood flow through a tapered artery with a stenosis. The constitutive equations for a Reiner Rivlin fluid have been modelled in cylindrical coordinates. A perturbation series in dimensionless Reiner Rivlin fluid parameter (λ 1 ≪ 1) have been used to obtain explicit forms for the velocity, temperature, concentration, resistance impedance, wall shear stress and shearing stress at the stenosis throat. The graphical results of different type of tapered arteries i.e. converging tapering, diverging tapering, non-tapered artery have been examined for different parameters of interest.  相似文献

The use of non-toxic synthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles (FeO NPs) by an aqueous plant extract has proven to be a viable and environmentally friendly method. Therefore, the present investigation is based on the FeO NPs synthesis by means of FeCl3·6H2O as a precursor, and the plant extract of Nephrolepis exaltata (N. exaltata) serves as a capping and reducing agent. Various techniques were used to examine the synthesized FeO NPs, such as UV-Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX). The FT-IR studies were used to identify different photoactive biomolecules at 3285, 2928, 1415, 1170, and 600 cm−1 in the wavenumber range from 4000 to 400 cm−1, indicating the -OH, C-H, C-O, C-C, and M-O groups, respectively. The XRD examination exhibited crystallinity, and the average diameter of the particle was 16 nm. The spherical nature of synthesized FeO NPs was recognized by SEM images, while the elemental composition of nanoparticles was identified by an EDX spectrophotometer. The antiplasmodial activity of synthesized FeO NPs was investigated against Plasmodium parasites. The antiplasmodial property of FeO NPs was evaluated by means of parasite inhibitory concentration, which showed higher efficiency (62 ± 1.3 at 25 μg/mL) against Plasmodium parasite if compared to plant extracts and precursor. The cytotoxicity of FeO NPs was also assessed in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) under in vitro conditions. The lack of toxic effects through FeO NPs keeps them more effective for use in pharmaceutical and medical applications.  相似文献

In the present work, sulfur-doped manganese ferrites S@Mn(Fe2O4) nanoparticles were prepared by using the sol-gel and citrate method. The concentration of sulfur varied from 1 to 7% by adding Na2S. The samples were characterized by performing Fourier Transformed Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Ultraviolet–Visible spectroscopy (UV–Visible). The synthesized sulfur-doped manganese ferrites were applied to evaluate the photocatalytic degradation of the dyes. Further, the degradation studies revealed that the nanoparticles successfully degraded the methylene blue dye by adding a 0.006 g dose under the sunlight. The sulfur-doped manganese ferrite nanoparticles containing 3% sulfur completely degraded the dye in 2 h and 15 min in aqueous medium. Thus, the ferrite nanoparticles were found to be promising photocatalyst materials and could be employed for the degradation of other dyes in the future.  相似文献

A triplet diphenylcarbene, bis[3-bromo-5-(trifluoromethyl)[1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl]methylidene (B3B), with exceptional stability was discovered by chemists from Japan's Mie University. To investigate its different quantum chemical features, a theoretical analysis was predicated on Density Functional Theory (DFT) and Time Dependent-DFT (TD-DFT) based technique. According to the findings, the singlet–triplet energy gap (ES-T), as well as HOMO–LUMO energy bandgap (EH-L), was found to be diminished when nucleophilicity (N) rose. We looked at the geometrical dimensions, molecular orbitals (MOs), electronic spectra, electrostatic potential, molecular surfaces, reactivity characteristics, and thermodynamics features of the title carbene (B3B). Its electronic spectra in different solvents were calculated using TD-DFT and Polarizable Continuum Model (PCM) framework. The estimated absorption maxima of B3B were seen between 327 and 340 nm, relying on the solvents, and were attributed to the S0?→?S1 transition. Estimated fluorescence spectral peaks were found around 389 and 407 nm with the S1 and S0 transitions being identified. Its fluorescence/absorption intensities revealed a blue shift change when the solvent polarity was increased. The least exciting state has been discovered to be the π?→?π* charge-transfer (CT) phase. According to the Natural Bonding Orbital (NBO) exploration, ICT offers a significant role in chemical system destabilization. Furthermore, several hybrid features were used to determine the NLO (nonlinear optical) features (polarizability, first-order hyperpolarizability, and dipole moment). The calculated values suggest that B3B is a promising candidate for further research into nonlinear optical properties.

In this research work a sulfonamide from tranexamic acid has been synthesized followed by its metal complexation. p‐Bromo benzene sulfonyl chloride was used to synthesize sulfonamide using eco‐friendly atmosphere. The sulfonamide prepared from tranexamic acid has been utilized for the preparation of metal complexes with various metals like Ni, Cu, Co, Mn, Pb, Cd, Cr, Fe, Sn, and Sr. All synthesized compounds were characterized by applying different spectral techniques such as Fourier‐transform infrared (FTIR), mass spectrometry, and X‐ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The biological activities such as radical scavenging activity, enzyme inhibition, antifungal, antibacterial, and anticancer were performed. It was concluded from the results that compounds showed moderate to good activity. Cu complex of sulfonamide showed the highest antioxidant potential (87.69 ± 1.8% with IC50 137 ± 1.0 μg) while Cr complex depicted the highest activity against both enzymes; AChE (73.51 ± 1.7% with IC50 165 ± 1.1 μg) and BChE (70.05 ± 1.3% with IC50 152 ± 1.8 μg). Mn complex showed good results against six bacterial strains comparable with standard drug. Cr complex depicted highest anticancer activity against MCF7 and human corneal epithelial cell (HCEC) cell lines 45.73% and 25.40%, respectively. These results concluded that metal complexes of sulfonamide may be good induction in the future for medical purposes.  相似文献
