Layers of ethane-saturated amorphous ice were prepared by depositing molecular beams of water and gas on a substrate cooled with liquid nitrogen. The heating of the layers was accompanied by vitrification (softening) followed by spontaneous crystallization. Crystallization of condensates under the conditions of deep metastability proceeded with gas hydrate formation. The vitrification and crystallization temperatures of the condensates were determined from the changes in their dielectric properties on heating. The thermal effects of transformations were recorded by differential thermal analysis. The crystallization of the amorphous water layers was studied by electron diffraction. Formation of a metastable packing with elements of a cubic diamond-like structure was noted.  相似文献

Experiments were carried out on ultrasonic cavitation in glycerin. The zone near the emitter has a structure from interacting gas-vapor bubbles; this structure takes the form of fractal clusters. The photometry of passed laser emission was the tool for studying dynamics of fluctuations. In transitive mode, the power spectrum of fluctuation varies by the law inversely proportional to frequency. Distributions of local fluctuations are different from Gaussian and exhibit the property of scale invariance. The qualitative behavior of the frequency dependence of the spectral fluctuation density was tested while varying the power of the ultrasonic emitter. It was demonstrated that the growth of the high-frequency margin of flicker-type behavior evidences for growing instability and can be considered as a forerunner of possible large-scale outbursts. The stability and evolution of the shapes of jets of strongly superheated aqueous solutions of ethanol flowing out of a high-pressure chamber are experimentally investigated at various initial parameters. It has been found that a low-boiling liquid causes shifting to lower temperatures of the boundaries between various kinds of boiling-up jets, such as cylindrical, conical, and open. Large-scale pulsations of the jet shapes are observed in the temperature range from 454 to 484 K, where the jet completely breaks down. The conditions for the formation of large-scale low-frequency pulsations with a power spectrum diverging inversely proportional to the frequency f (1/f spectra) have been revealed. Such fluctuations prove that the flow is unstable and large-scale low-frequency ejections are possible.  相似文献

 We derive quantum kinetic equations for fermion and boson production starting from a φ4 Lagrangean with minimal coupling to fermions. Decomposing the scalar field into a mean-field part and fluctuations we obtain spontaneous pair creation driven by a self-interacting strong background field. The produced fermion and boson pairs are self-consistently coupled. Consequently back reactions arise from fermion and boson currents determining the time-dependent self-interacting background mean field. We explore the numerical solution with cylindric boundary conditions for the time evolution of the mean field as well as for the number- and energy densities for fermions and bosons. We find that after a characteristic time all energy is converted from the background mean field to particle creation. Applying this general approach to the production of “quarks” and “gluons” a typical time scale for the collapse of the flux tube is 1.5 fm/c. A spatially distributed system of two nonlinear stochastic equations, which models 1/f fluctuations in the interaction of nonequilibrium phase transitions, is investigated numerically. It has been shown that, for a high intensity of white noise, noise-induced synchronization in the form of a nonequilibrium phase transition is observed in the system. The critical point of the noise-induced transition corresponds to the information entropy peak.  相似文献

A spatially distributed system with the 1/ f spectrum of fluctuation power is modeled by two nonlinear stochastic equations. The numerical methods show the formation of 1/ f and 1/ k spectra of extreme fluctuations against the background of the formation and motion of waves under the effect of white noise. The distribution of extreme fluctuations corresponds to the maximum of entropy, which testifies to their stability. Under an external periodic perturbation in the system, it is possible to observe space?time stochastic resonance.  相似文献

The paper describes an experimental study of thermal fluctuations during transition from bubble to film boiling of water on a wire heater and fluctuations of the shape of a superheated liquid jet discharged from a highpressure vessel. It is found that for a heattransfer crisis on the wire heater and for intense volume boiling of the superheated liquid jet, the fluctuation power spectrum has a lowfrequency component (flicker noise) that diverges under the law 1/f. This effect is due to nonequilibrium phase transitions in the system: the heattransfer crisis during transition from bubble to film boiling and a flow crisis during boiling of the superheated liquid jet.  相似文献
