The scope of the reaction of the tetrabromocalixarene derivative 2b with alcohols under solvolytic conditions in trifluoroethanol (TFE) or hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP) was explored. The reaction proceeded readily with MeOH, EtOH, n-PrOH, ethylene glycol and i-PrOH affording preferentially the rccc isomer of the tetrasubstituted product. The methoxy derivative 6a undergoes isomerization upon attempted recrystallization from CHCl3/MeOH and its rcct and rctt forms were characterized by X-ray crystallography. Incorporation of hydroxy groups on the bridges was accomplished via solvolysis in AcOH, followed by LiAlH4 reduction of the acetoxy groups. Reaction of the tetra-(2-methylfuranyl)calixarene derivative 11 with benzyne followed by deoxygenation with Me3SiCl/NaI afforded in low yield the tetra-(4-methylnaphthyl)calix[4]arene derivative 12. Reaction of de-tert-butylated tetrabromo derivative 2a with m-xylene in HFIP followed by methylation of the crude product afforded the tetraxylyl derivative 14.  相似文献

The ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic wave functions of the KMnF3 perovskite have been evaluated quantum-mechanically by using an all electron approach and, for comparison, pseudopotentials on the transition metal and the fluorine ions. It is shown that the different number of α and β electrons in the d shell of Mn perturbs the inner shells, with shifts between the α and β eigenvalues that can be as large as 6 eV for the 3s level, and is far from negligible also for the 2s and 2p states. The valence electrons of F are polarized by the majority spin electrons of Mn, and in turn, spin polarize their 1s electrons. When a pseudopotential is used, such a spin polarization of the core functions of Mn and F can obviously not take place. The importance of such a spin polarization can be appreciated by comparing (i) the spin density at the Mn and F nuclear position, and then the Fermi contact constant, a crucial quantity for the hyperfine coupling, and (ii) the ferromagnetic–antiferromagnetic energy difference, when obtained with an all electron or a pseudopotential scheme, and exploring how the latter varies with pressure. This difference is as large as 50% of the all electron datum, and is mainly due to the rigid treatment of the F ion core. The effect of five different functionals on the core spin polarization is documented.  相似文献

Here, we report multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) functionalized with γ-cyclodextrins (γCD) as a novel electrochemical strategy for Rutin determination, showing superior performance than β-cyclodextrins (βCD) modified MWCNTs, suggesting an adequate environment for host-guest interactions. Under optimized conditions, the sensor showed a linear range of 39–975 nmol L−1 and a limit of detection of 7 nmol L−1. When tested with quercetin, catechin, and caffeine, the platform presented high selectivity with an interference response <10 %. The method was employed to quantify Rutin in spiked pharmaceutical and herbal extracts, providing recovery of 93–98.4 %. Also, HPLC-PDA confirmed the method‘s accuracy.  相似文献

Dynamic covalent chemistry (DCC) has, in recent years, provided valuable tools to synthesize molecular architectures of increasing complexity. We have also taken advantage of imine DCC chemistry to prepare TPMA -based supramolecular cages for molecular recognition applications. However, the versatility of this approach has as a major drawback the intrinsic hydrolytic lability of imines, which hampers some applications. We present herein a synthetic strategy that combines the advantages of a thermodynamic-driven formation of a supramolecular structure using imine chemistry, together with the possibility to synthetize chiral hydrolytically stable structures through a [3,3]-sigmatropic rearrangement. A preliminary mechanistic analysis of this one-pot synthesis and the scope of the reaction are also discussed.  相似文献

The ion-molecule reactions occurring in GeH(4)/NF(3), GeH(4)/SF(6), and GeH(4)/SiF(4) gaseous mixtures have been investigated by ion trap mass spectrometry and ab initio calculations. While the NF(x)(+) (x=1-3) react with GeH(4) mainly by the exothermic charge transfer, the open-shell Ge(+) and GeH(2)(+) undergo the efficient F-atom abstraction from NF(3) and form GeF(+) and F-GeH(2)(+) as the only ionic products. The mechanisms of these two processes are quite similar and involve the formation of the fluorine-coordinated complexes Ge-F-NF(2)(+) and H(2)Ge-F-NF(2)(+), their subsequent crossing to the significantly more stable isomers FGe-NF(2)(+) and F-GeH(2)-NF(2)(+), and the eventual dissociation of these ions into GeF(+) (or F-GeH(2)(+)) and NF(2). The closed-shell GeH(+) and GeH(3)(+) are instead much less reactive towards NF(3), and the only observed process is the less efficient formation of GeF(+) from GeH(+). The theoretical investigation of this unusual H/F exchange reaction suggests the involvement of vibrationally-hot GeH(+). Passing from NF(3) to SF(6) and SiF(4), the average strength of the M-F bond increases from 70 to 79 and 142 kcal mol(-1), and in fact the only process observed by reacting GeH(n)(+) (n=0-3) with SF(6) and SiF(4) is the little efficient F-atom abstraction from SF(6) by Ge(+). Irrespective of the experimental conditions, we did not observe any ionic product of Ge-N, Ge-S, or Ge-Si connectivity. This is in line with the previously observed exclusive formation of GeF(+) from the reaction between Ge(+) and C-F compounds such as CH(3)F. Additionally observed processes include in particular the conceivable formation of the elusive thiohypofluorous acid FSH from the reaction between SF(+) and GeH(4).  相似文献

The field of application of solid-state NMR to the study of supramolecular systems is growing rapidly, with many research groups involved in the development of techniques for the study of crystalline and amorphous phases. This Feature Article aims to provide an overview of the recent contributions of our research group to this field, paying particular attention to the study of the weak interactions such as hydrogen bonds in supramolecular systems through solid-state NMR investigations. The existence of a charge-transfer-to-solvent process when a KI contact ion pair (CIP) dissolved in supercritical water (SCW) is excited by UV light was confirmed by use of electronic structure calculations applied to molecular dynamics trajectories. We observed similar behavior with fluid density as that found for the KI-CIP in supercritical ammonia (SCA); nevertheless, there are some distinct features in the two supercritical solvents. First, the effect of the solvent field due to the molecules lying beyond the first solvation shell is very different in SCW compared with that observed in SCA; in SCW it actually has a destabilizing effect over the ground and excited states. Second, our results for the thermodynamic behavior of the CIP indicate that SCA is better solvent than SCW for this species. The differences found can be attributed to the solvent molecules surrounding the CIP and bridging the two ions; they shield more efficiently the ion pair from long-range solvent effects in SCA. The different behavior is partially attributed to a stronger solvent-solvent interaction in SCW than in SCA.  相似文献

A comparative study was carried out to evaluate protease production in solid-state fermentation (SSF) and submerged fermentation (SmF) by nine different thermophilic fungi – Thermoascus aurantiacus Miehe, Thermomyces lanuginosus, T. lanuginosus TO.03, Aspergillus flavus 1.2, Aspergillus sp. 13.33, Aspergillus sp. 13.34, Aspergillus sp. 13.35, Rhizomucor pusillus 13.36 and Rhizomucor sp. 13.37 – using substrates containing proteins to induce enzyme secretion. Soybean extract (soybean milk), soybean flour, milk powder, rice, and wheat bran were tested. The most satisfactory results were obtained when using wheat bran in SSF. The fungi that stood out in SSF were T. lanuginosus, T. lanuginosus TO.03, Aspergillus sp. 13.34, Aspergillus sp. 13.35, and Rhizomucor sp. 13.37, and those in SmF were T. aurantiacus, T. lanuginosus TO.03, and 13.37. In both fermentation systems, A. flavus 1.2 and R. pusillus 13.36 presented the lowest levels of proteolytic activity.  相似文献
