Size-correlated single-molecule fluorescence measurements on CdSe quantum dots functionalized with oligo(phenylene vinylene) (OPV) ligands exhibit modified fluorescence intermittency (blinking) statistics that are highly sensitive to the degree of ligand coverage on the quantum dot surface. As evidenced by a distinct surface height signature, fully covered CdSe-OPV nanostructures (approximately 25 ligands) show complete suppression of blinking in the solid state on an integration time scale of 1 s. Some access to dark states is observed on finer time scales (100 ms) with average persistence times significantly shorter than those from ZnS-capped CdSe quantum dots. This effect is interpreted as resulting from charge transport from photoexcited OPV into vacant trap sites on the quantum dot surface. These results suggest exciting new applications of composite quantum dot/organic systems in optoelectronic systems.  相似文献

Setup operations are significant in some production environments. It is mandatory that their production plans consider some features, as setup state conservation across periods through setup carryover and crossover. The modelling of setup crossover allows more flexible decisions and is essential for problems with long setup times. This paper proposes two models for the capacitated lot-sizing problem with backlogging and setup carryover and crossover. The first is in line with other models from the literature, whereas the second considers a disaggregated setup variable, which tracks the starting and completion times of the setup operation. This innovative approach permits a more compact formulation. Computational results show that the proposed models have outperformed other state-of-the-art formulation.  相似文献

The temporal and spectral properties of luminescence from individual CdSe quantum dot-oligophenylene vinylene nanostructures (single quantum dots with conjugated organic ligands coordinated to the surface) are profoundly modified relative to blended films of the same components. These kinds of composite quantum dot-conjugated organic systems have attracted significant interest as a way to improve efficiency in photovoltaic device applications. By direct functionalization of the dot surface with the conjugated organic ligands, we realize a significant enhancement in energy transfer and luminescence stability.  相似文献

We present a convergence analysis of the spectral Lagrange-Galerkinmethod for mixed periodic/non-periodic convection-diffusionproblems. The scheme is unconditionally stable, independentof the diffusion coefficient, even in the case when numericalquadrature is used. In polymernanoparticle composites, uniform dispersion of the nanoparticles carries advantages over cases where nanoparticle aggregation dominates. Such dispersion has been particularly difficult to obtain in the case of composites prepared from nanoparticles and conjugated polymers. Here, we show that cadmium selenide nanocrystals, or quantum dots, can be integrated into thin films of poly(para-phenylene vinylene) (PPV) without aggregation. The two key departures from previous studies of quantum-dot/electronic polymer composites are (1) the synthesis of high-quality quantum dots directly in novel, functional ligands, thus eliminating the need for ligand exchange, and (2) polymerization chemistry that grafts PPV to the quantum dot surface. Solid-state photoluminescence spectra of composite materials prepared by these novel techniques reveal the critical importance of the quantum dot-polymer interface that will enable new investigations in nanoparticle-based light-emitting devices.  相似文献

End‐group modified hyperbranched polyetherimides were prepared by a one‐pot, two‐step reaction sequence. General synthetic techniques were developed to prepare both monofunctional terminating segments and the corresponding modified polyetherimide hyperbranched polymers. Monofunctional groups were used to terminate an AB2‐type polycondensation reaction, generating capped hyperbranched polymers (HBPs). The composition and constitution of the end groups controlled the solubility and thermal properties of the HBPs. For the same polymer backbone, different end groups were able to shift the glass‐transition temperature nearly 100 °C. [reaction: see text] The first total synthesis of 15-deoxy-Delta12,14-prostaglandin J2 is reported. The highly unsaturated cyclopentenone prostaglandin was obtained via a silicon-tethered allenic [2 + 2 + 1] cycloaddition reaction developed in our group.
