Spectral sensitivity of IR photodetectors in monolithic bipolar integrated circuits

We examine different designs for photodetectors within bipolar monolithic integrated circuits and study their spectral characteristics. We have analyzed the effect of buried n⁺-type layers in the photosensitive region of the photodiode on its spectral sensitivity. We show that the highest maximum spectral sensitivity in the IR region of the spectrum is exhibited by a tandem photodetector and an n⁺-n-p epitaxial photodiode. __________ Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Spektroskopii, Vol. 75, No. 4, pp. 588–591, July–August, 2008.     

Enantiomerically selective metal complex catalysis. 7. Asymmetric hydrosilylation of imines and oximes on the catalyst [Rh(COD)Cl]2/(S)-phephos

Asymmetric hydrosilylation of acetophenoxime and cyclic and acyclic imines (with subsequent hydrolysis to amines) was investigated using as catalyst a rhodium complex with the chiral phosphinamino ligand (S)-Phephos. Optical vortex generation and Jones vector formalism

Physical phenomena accompanying the generation and propagation of a single optical vortex caused by the diffraction of a Gaussian beam by the edge of a dielectric wedge is studied theoretically and experimentally.     

Spectra of phosphate esters in the 900–1400 cm−1 region

The vibration frequencies of some phosphate esters have been measured in the 900–1400 cm^–1 region. Only some show a correlation between the P=O vibration frequencies and the Taft polar constants. It is concluded that the polar effect of the substituents is the main factor affecting the P=O vibration frequencies, but not the only one.
