π-Electron systems of silicon have attracted attention because of their narrow HOMO-LUMO gap and high reactivity, but the structural diversity remains limited. Herein, new dialkylboryl-substituted disilenes were synthesized by the selective desilylation-borylation of the corresponding trimethylsilyl-substituted disilenes. The dialkylboryl-substituted disilenes were fully characterized by a combination of NMR spectroscopy, MS spectrometry, single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, and theoretical calculations. The longest-wavelength absorption bands of boryldisilenes were bathochromically shifted compared to the corresponding silyl-substituted disilenes, indicating a substantial conjugation between π(Si=Si) and vacant 2p(B) orbitals. In the presence of 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine (DMAP), the dialkylboryl groups in the boryl-substituted disilenes were easily converted to trimethylsilyl groups, suggesting the dialkylboryl-substituted disilenes in the presence of a base serve as the surrogates of disilenyl anions (disilenides). 相似文献

The spontaneous deformation of PbTiO3 crystals precipitated in a PbOTiO2Al2O3SiO2 glass was found to decrease with decreasing grain size. This trend remains even after the glass matrix surrounding PbTiO3 crystals is removed completely by HNO3 acid immersion. Consequently, a linear electro-optic effect cannot be expected from transparent glass-ceramics which necessarily comprise very-fine-grained crystals. The dielectric constant of PbTiO3 crystals surrounded by a glassy matrix shows two maxima at grain sizes 0.15 μm and 250 Å, but is still fairly high even at a grain size as small as 160 Å. This suggests that a material with a large quadratic electro-optic effect may be produced from a transparent glass-ceramic. The maxima of the dielectric constant at grain sizes 0.15 μm and 250 Å were interpreted in terms of the internal stress and internal electric field, respectively. 相似文献

We have developed a new time-resolved fluorometric (TRF) microarray detection system consisting of fluorescent NH2 nanosphere, TRF microarray detector and gamma-irradiated polystyrene chip. Using the TRF microarray detector, we detected 500 particles of the fluorescent nanosphere in one channel. Cross-talk fluorescence from the adjacent channels was little observed in the TRF microarray detector (<0.0004 %). The TRF microarray detection system was further applied for serum allergen-specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) multi-analyses. As a labeled tag antibody, an anti-human IgE Fab’ fragment-conjugated fluorescent nanosphere (Fab’ nanosphere) was prepared as described previously. As a chip surface appropriate for allergen immobilization, the polystyrene chip surface was modified by gamma irradiation. The immunoassay reactivity using the gamma-irradiated polystyrene chip was approximately 2.5-times improved compared with that of the non-treated polystyrene chip. Non-specific adsorption of the Fab’ nanosphere onto the gamma-irradiated polystyrene chip surface was very low level (<0.0009 %). In only 20 μl of serum, six allergen-specific IgEs could be simultaneously determined in one reaction well in fewer than 90 min. Good correlation curves were obtained between the microarray immunoassay and the CAP RAST fluoro-enzyme immunoassay (CAP/RAST FEIA) method (r>0.961). Dynamic viscoelastic measurements were made for storage (E′) and loss (E″) tensile moduli of water‐absorbable polymers such as nylon‐6, nylon‐66, poly(vinyl alcohol), ethylene–vinyl alcohol copolymers, and regenerated cellulose under the control of stepwise scanned relative humidity at constant temperature by changes in the strain frequency over a wide range. Smooth master curves of log(E′) and log(E″) plotted against log(frequency) were successfully obtained for all samples. The evaluated shift factors changed with the relative humidity and could be interpreted well on the basis of a concept of free volume in the amorphous region. The free volume was affected sensitively, depending on the heat‐treatment condition and the types of polymers used. For nylon‐66 film, the dynamic viscoelastic measurements were made at different humidities and temperatures, from which one smooth master curve was obtained. This experimental result is important in realizing the similar effect of relative humidity and temperature on the expansion of free volume of the amorphous phase: the shift factor change induced by the relative humidity change of about 30% was equivalent to the shift factor change induced by the temperature change of about 30 °C. That is, the time–humidity superposition principle and the time–temperature superposition principle were applicable as equivalent contributors to the mechanical property of water‐absorbable polymers. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Widely tunable subnanosecond Ti:sapphire laser radiation pumped with a cw Q -switched laser-diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser has been demonstrated in a simple laser system with a configuration of variable cavity length. Laser wavelengths can be continuously tuned by adjustment of the rf of an intracavity acousto-optic tunable filter with a computer through the whole range of the laser gain. During tuning of the whole spectral range, there is no need to realign any optics in the laser, except for moving the mirror to track the change of the rf. The peak powers of the output pulses at a pump level of 300 mW are comparable with those of conventional tunable picosecond Ti:sapphire lasers at a cw pump level of almost 10 W. 相似文献
