A new family of quaternary alkali-metal indium selenites, AIn(SeO(3))(2) (A = Na, K, Rb, and Cs) have been synthesized, as crystals and pure polycrystalline phases through standard solid-state and hydrothermal reactions. The structures of the reported materials have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. While AIn(SeO(3))(2) (A = Na, K, and Rb) crystallize in the orthorhombic space group, Pnma, with three-dimensional framework structures, CsIn(SeO(3))(2) crystallizes in the trigonal space group, R3?m, with a two-dimensional structure. All of the reported materials, however, share a common structural motif, a network of corner-shared InO(6) octahedra and SeO(3) groups. Interestingly, the size of the alkali-metal cations profoundly influences the bonding nature of the SeO(3) group to the InO(6) octahedra. Complete characterizations including infrared spectroscopy, elemental analyses, and thermal analyses for the compounds are also presented, as are dipole moment calculations. A detailed cation size effect on the framework structure is discussed. 相似文献

Fracture of silicon and germanium nanowires in tension at room temperature is studied by molecular dynamics simulations using several interatomic potential models. While some potentials predict brittle fracture initiated by crack nucleation from the surface, most potentials predict ductile fracture initiated by dislocation nucleation and slip. A simple parameter based on the ratio between the ideal tensile strength and the ideal shear strength is found to correlate very well with the observed brittle versus ductile behaviours for all the potentials used in this study. This parameter is then computed by ab initio methods, which predict brittle fracture at room temperature. A brittle-to-ductile transition (BDT) is observed in MD simulations at higher temperature. The BDT mechanism in semiconductor nanowires is different from that in the bulk, due to the lack of a pre-existing macrocrack that is always assumed in bulk BDT models. 相似文献

Coral reef-like PANI nanotubes composed of nanopaticles were successfully synthesized by a reactive template of manganese oxide.The structure was characterized by using SEM,TEM,and FT-IR,and the supercapacitive behaviors of these nanotubes were investigated with cyclic voltammetry(CV),and charge-discharge tests,respectively.A maximum specific capacitance of 533 F/g could be achieved in 1mol/L aqueous H2SO4 with the potential range of -0.2 to 0.8 V(vs.the saturated calomel electrode) in a half-cell setup configuration for PANI electrode,suggesting its potential application in the electrode material for electrochemical capacitors. 相似文献

利用海藻酸钠和壳聚糖2种原料, 采用阴阳离子静电复合原理, 通过滴注法层层自组装成可搭载药物的缓释微球, 再按一定比例与海藻酸钠-壳聚糖溶液混合制成缓释微球型支架材料, 将缓释微球结构嵌入疏松多孔海绵状结构中. 研究了缓释微球的组分比对缓释微球型支架材料的孔隙率、 收缩率、 亲水性及降解性能的影响; 扫描电子显微镜照片显示, 微球结构相对完整, 多孔海绵状结构孔径为140~200 μm; 支架浸出液细胞毒性检测实验组对照组未见差异. 缓释微球体积所占比例即组分比为10%的缓释微球型支架材料孔隙率最高为68.2%~70.8%, 亲水性最好, 收缩率最低为4.4%~5.2%; 支架降解速率随缓释微球组分比升高而减慢, 组分比为20%的缓释微球型支架材料综合性能更优; 缓释微球型支架材料冻干成型前为液态, 具有良好可塑性. 缓释微球型支架材料为缓释系统与多孔支架材料有机结合提供了新思路. 相似文献
